Here's something I wrote about why you shouldn't vote for him

To preface why you shouldn't vote for him, I am a previous Donald Trump supporter/conservative. Before the 2016 election, I was a strict conservative and subscribed to nearly all right-leaning views. I considered myself fiscally libertarian and socially conservative where possible. Very few of my ideas were left leaning. I stayed this way all the way up until the 2016 election, where I supported him over Hillary Clinton, who I saw as the figurehead of the corporate democrats. However, since he's become president, I've been seeing lie after lie, campaign promise one after another being broken by him. The first reason why you shouldn't vote for him?
He hasn't kept his Campaign Promises.
One of his biggest campaign promises included repealing Obamacare. Did he do it? No. What about building a wall? Trump has built sections of the wall, but it remains ineffective and inadequate in it's purpose. Here is a section of it that fell down.
This is a section of the wall that didn't fall down. It sure is great that people are having so much fun with it. Here's a video of people climbing over his "impassable" wall
. Trump's wall is nothing but pandering to those who still, for some reason believe that immigration and people crossing the border is a problem.
Immigration isn't Bad, Trump is Lying to You.
There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that proves immigration is harmful to America. In fact, studies show that immigrants boost the Unites States' economic growth in several ways. You can read this in-depth review made by Citi and Oxford-Martin here.
But what about the crime rate? Well, Trump will tell you that we need to stop immigration because Mexicans coming from the border are, in his own words:
"Bringing drugs, bringing crime, they're rapists, and some, I assume are good people"
I know some of you may be thinking, "I know he's abrasive, but he says it how it is! He doesn't care about hurting feelings, he cares about the truth!" However, these statements are wrong and pandering/influencing such supporters with racial bias. Those who are worried about crime, rapists, and drugs, should be more worried about those at home. A study done by The Libertarian Cato Institute in Texas proves Undocumented immigrants are twice as likely to not commit crimes, when compared to documented immigrants and American citizens. Before you claim this is some libtard pseudo-fact, keep in mind that this institute is fiscally liberatarian (right-leaning). Even more of an opposite in economic philosophy than textbook conservativism is. But what about the economy?! Well, the University Of Penn Wharton looked into it. Here is a few key points they've found while doing the research:
"While some policymakers have blamed immigration for slowing U.S. wage growth since the 1970s, most academic research finds little long run effect on Americans’ wages. The available evidence suggests that immigration leads to more innovation, a better educated workforce, greater occupational specialization, better matching of skills with jobs, and higher overall economic productivity. Immigration also has a net positive effect on combined federal, state, and local budgets. But not all taxpayers benefit equally. In regions with large populations of less educated, low-income immigrants, native-born residents bear significant net costs due to immigrants’ use of public services, especially education."
They've come to the conclusion immigration is generally a good thing for America, and they are not the only ones who have come to this conclusion. The National Bureau Of Economic Research wrote a paper about the effects on wages that immigration has. The study details average American wage has actually risen due to immigration in the short term and the long term. Now, the study does say the average, so there is only one demographic whose wages were hurt by immigration; high school dropouts who experienced a decrease in wages of about 2% in the short term, and then brought up to 1.1% in the long term. Looking at low skill workers from Cuba migrating to Miami, research found that the famous Mariel Boatlift had no impact on native wages or for low skilled workers, even though the Mariel Boatlift increased Miami's labor force by 7%. The study showed former Cuban immigrants weren't affected by this massive wave of immigrants either.
One other thing you might have heard of are the detention centers. Ah yes, "But Trump didn't build those cages! Obama did!" and correct you are, but where the falsities lie is why people are really mad at the Trump Administration. Trump claims he not only inherited the cages from the Obama Administration, but also the acts of child separation that were occurring within these detention centers. This is only a half-truth. The real truth is while Obama did keep illegal immigrants within these detention centers, Trump's Zero Tolerance Policy created the situations that have caused thousands of immigrant children to be separated from their parents. Are these the policies that you supported when you voted?
Back to his Campaign Promises. The Economy is his Area of Expertise, Right?
Lowering taxes? What all politicians claim they will do? First, let's take a look at this economic model the Trump administration and many republicans have subscribed to:
Tax Cuts Sound Great, Let's Do Those
Republicans have been spewing garbage since forever now that giving the rich more money is going to come back and help the working man! The more money we let rich people have, the more money that sort of.. Comes down? Falls down? Oh wait, Trickles down! Yes, that is what I will call it! Trickle Down Economics. Trickle Down Economics might sound familiar to those who paid attention in history class. It might sound familiar to anybody who knows the Trump Administration is pushing is an outright lie. It claims if your policies align with giving rich people and companies more money, they will then in turn invest that money back into their companies by hiring more people, opening new facilities, lowering prices, etc. This has been proven to be nothing more than the product of politicians wanting to please their mega-donors. It has never worked for the working class. Wanna know who it has worked for? The upper class, the corporations, the *f\*cking president*.
Let's explore some of the "benefits" that Trickle Down Economics claims to bring with it. Firstly, the core concept: "Executives will redistribute their wealth through creating jobs and giving higher wages to enrich the lives of those below them". Let's tackle that "redistribution" part first. The average compensation for workers has risen 12% since 1978. How much has the CEO's compensation grown? 940%.
So, one of the core ideas behind the Trickle Down Theory has been disproven by the sheer amount of money that the CEOs have been not redistributing.
"Well what about investments? Another core concept in trickle down economics is that more people can become a CEO! Lower Taxes means more investments will be profitable!"
Business investment, after Trump's 2017 tax cuts, rose for about two quarters (Following the rising trend), and then dropped to zero. It's gone even further down since then, proving the investment side of the tax cuts from 2017 didn't help the American people.
Analyzing the 207 "tax cuts" that Trump and his supporters raved about- they did us no good. Aside from not inspiring more business investments for any reasonable amount of time, GDP growth declined. It did not generate the revenue republicans consistently stated it would. Corporate Tax Receipts Fall, Federal Deficit Rises, and average hourly wages did not rise nearly to the level stated. What about jobs? Did we create more jobs? Well yes and no. You see, the tax cuts did not have any noticeable effect on jobs. They're rising on the same trend that Obama created. So what, if anything, happened because of these tax cuts? Well, everybody did actually get their taxes cuts, as advertised, but who benefits the most? The rich. Who will continue to benefit from that after 2027? The rich. Just the rich. And as a result of all of this, all of the "trickling down", corporate profits rose 8%.
The only people this really benefits in the long run is Trump and his mega donor million/billionaire friends.
"But Trump can't be greedy? Trump doesn't even accept his annual salary for being the president!"
Because he Loves our Tax Payer Money!
You're right, he doesn't accept his annual salary, but why would he when us taxpayers pay for all of his golfing! For a president so extremely busy*, as he claims, he has a lot of time for golf days! Did you know that 22% of the days he's been in office, he's been golfing? Crazy, right?! Such a busy person, and he still makes that much time for golfing, what an amazing man. Anyways, his golfing habit is a really bad one, it's sucking millions of dollars of taxpayer money and funneling that right back into.... His businesses... Quick hypocrite moment, Trump thought that OBAMA spent too much time out golfing! Definitely makes him look like a hypocrite, considering he's spent over twice as many golf trips as Obama has in the same amount of time.
Why do his trips cost a lot of money? How is this money getting funneled into his bank accounts? Well, if you're the president, the most important person in the world, it takes a lot of people and things to accompany you on your travels. Here are some things that come with him to his resorts where he golfs: Air Mobility Command, 89th Air Wing (AF1), US Marine Corp, Military Dog Program, Explosive Ordinance, White House Military Office, Secret Service, and the Coast Guard*. Quite a bit of stuff. Not to mention room and board is paid to Trump's own hotel! The GAO announced in a report they identified approx. $60,000 in expenses paid to Mar-a-Lago for just four trips. Trump has went golfing *hundreds of times. So yes, he's not making a salary, but he sure is making up for it with his trickle down economic policies and trips to Mar-a-Lago!
But he's Bringing Jobs Back!
How else has he affected the economy? A common statistic that Trump loves to cite is the unemployment rate. Let's pretend for a second that Coronavirus doesn't exist and Trump's response wasn't awful. Right, good! Let's look at the unemployment rate graph that he's so proud of.
Hmm. Something seems off here. It looks as though Obama started the unemployment trend! Could it be a president's policies has its affects after his term ends?! Anyways, he has not improved our job market in terms of number of jobs gained and hasn't brought an increase in the quality of jobs. We can play the partisan numbers game all we want to, who brought more of whatever, but what about the quality of these jobs? Are these jobs that are coming back subminimum wage service jobs, or are they jobs that bring plenty of hours with a good wage? Luckily, the Cornell-JQI-RIWI Survey exists.
Our current exact JQI rating is at 83.65, significantly lower than what it was in 1995. A bad JQI score means the jobs being added are of less hours and lower wages. So we're definitely seeing a lot of new jobs come in, but these jobs are not necessarily good jobs. They're not jobs that are going to improve your situation. They're not skilled labor jobs, they're not high paying and/or they're not giving you the hours that you need. This is why it's important to look at both of these graphs, instead of just one single graph. A politician trying to mislead you, like Trump, won't even mention that the JQI exists.
He's a Smart Businessman
This is a very pea brain argument I know somebody is going to bring up. To those of you that actually and seriously think like this, please tell me how running a business is at all like running the economy. They have zero correlation. Absolutely nothing to do with each other. "But he's good with money" no, Dummy, he's good at making money*. Do you know what's *not designed to make money? Government funded programs. Knowledge of business has zero to do with running a country and I'd like to hear a single case as to how it does, because I haven't heard one at all in the last four years. But whatever, Trump still thinks they're supposed to be ran like businesses. He thinks that it's so important they make profit for some reason, that he appoints his Wall Street buddies to run them. I mean, for the Post Office example I gave, he literally appointed Louis DeJoy. So much for "Draining The Swamp".
Anyways, is he even a good businessman? From The New York Times recent leak that I'll get to later, his businesses are crumbling. He's doing terrible and they're losing tons of money. Yet, this is not the first time Donald's "Great businesses" have gone under, Donald Trump has drove his companies into bankruptcy six times. Six times, and people still think he's a great businessman. Do you guys want to know why Donald Trump is actually rich? Because of this man right here. That's right, Donald Trump inherited his father's money/assets, got endless financial help from Fred, and then tried to claim that he only got a "Small loan of a million dollars". Thankfully, The New York Times comes in again with another lengthy article about this very thing. And a summary of that article from AP News states,
"The Times says Trump and his father, Fred, avoided gift and inheritance taxes by setting up a sham corporation and undervaluing assets to tax authorities. The Times says its report is based on more than 100,000 pages of financial documents, including confidential tax returns from the father and his companies."
"The Times says that before Fred Trump died in the late 1990s, he transferred ownership of most of his real estate empire to his four living children. The value of the properties in tax returns summed up to $41.4 million, vastly less than the Times says they were worth. The same properties would be sold off over the next decade for more than 16 times that amount. In total, the president’s father and mother transferred over $1 billion to their children, according to the Times tally. That should have produced a tax bill of at least $550 million, based on a 55 percent tax on gifts and inheritance at the time. Instead, the children paid $52.2 million, or about 5 percent."
At the very least, Donald Trump lied about how much he was given. Donald Trump isn't a self made millionaire. Donald Trump isn't a great businessman. Even if he was a great businessman, being one means nothing when it comes to running the economy. That brings into question his businesses, particularly those outside of America, Did you know that Trump owns a tower in Istanbul, Turkey? At this time Turkey hates Kurdish people. Who are allies with America? Kurdish people. They were until Trump got into office. When Trump got into office, troops in the middle east were stationed to help the Kurdish people fight terrorism in the area, and they definitely made a huge difference in helping us, they even kept the captures terrorists in their own prisons. Well, Donald Trump didn't really care for that, because Turkey, who was known to consider the Kurdish people terrorists, didn't like the fact that America was protecting the kurdish people. Without any warning, Donald Trump ordered all troops to leave the area, which left the Kurdish people defenseless. This was a horrible event, causing many kurdish people to die at the hands of Turkey. There is no evidence of this, but, maybe Trump had some business interest influence his decision? I mean he built a 2 billion dollar tower in Istanbul, why wouldn't he want to please the Turkish government? This is why Trump being a businessman is harmful for Americans, not helpful. How can we verify Trump's foreign business dealings have nothing to do with his policy? He is failing, so he's very likely to be using his office to further his businesses in many different ways than we know he is doing. What about his children? One of Trump's biggest criticisms of Biden is that Biden's son took advantage of Biden's role as Vice President to land him a Job at Burisma, a Ukrainian company. We'll get to that later. Still, Trump's children are benefitting in, quite frankly, the same exact way. This is hypocrisy. Donald Trump says its a conflict of interest for Biden's son to hold a prominent position on the board at Burisma, but Trump takes his daughter with him to China during his trade war, and she comes back, granted 18 trademarks from China. Not to mention all of the money his sons have made with their connection to Trump, and that his daughter literally serves as a White house advisor for Trump. But it's not just Trump's family getting these high regarded positions in our government.
Remember "I'm Going to Drain the Swamp"?
Remember that? Donald Trump was going to cut Wall Street out and remove business control over our government. Remember when he appointed Louis DeJoy? Or Exxon Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson? Hedge Fund investor and Hollywood financier Steven Mnuchin? CEO of CKE Restaurants Andrew Puzder? Wilbur Ross, a Wall Street investor? Betsy DeVos, a billionaire who owns about 10 yachts, one of which costs 40 million dollars? Yeah, he's "draining" the swamp. He's appointing really "qualified" people who will absolutely not have a business that creates a conflict of interest.
Trump Doesn't Care About Our Troops
Trump has made many claims, one of which is that he will stop the endless wars in the middle east. This is something that most of us are in favor of. What seems like putting an end to these wars? Oh, selling our troops to Saudi Arabia!
Yes, Donald Trump sold our troops' to Saudi Arabia for them to use in order to defend their enemy's targets. These are people's sons and daughters who signed up to live for our nation. To fight in the name of our nation's ideals and message. Trump knows this, he always talks about it, so why did he send these troops to a danger zone to fight for another country? For money. Saudi Arabia paid the US one billion dollars. That is the official price for 3,000 American lives.
But what about the boys back home, our veterans? Well, Trump hasn't forgotten about them. Trump has graciously cut the budget for several programs that veterans rely on. 1.9 million vets rely on Medicaid, 9.3 million vets rely on Medicare, and the ACA reduces vet's uninsured rate. What else did he cut that our vets rely on? Oh yeah, social security, SNAP, and completely destroyed veteran housing vouchers.
Remember The Tax Cuts
Why would he cut the budget to so many programs that vets, and many many other Americans rely on to get by? The answer is simple. Remember those tax cuts we talked about earlier? Remember how corporate taxes were going to make up for those cuts? Remember how Amazon literally paid -129 million in taxes? Yes, that happened. Amazon paid zero in taxes and got a 129 million dollar tax rebate. As it turns out, if you want to give the rich more money, you have to make up for that loss of tax revenue by cutting your spending! Awesome, nobody saw this coming.
But The Trump Foundation Donates To Veterans!?
For those who have forgotten, the Trump Foundation existed. Yes, that is past tense. In 2019, Donald Trump was ordered to shut down the Trump Foundation and pay a fine of 2 million dollars for misusing the charity funds. Trump illegally took funds from this charity to buy sports memorabilia, and a giant painting of himself. This happened while he was president and nobody really said much about it. Does nobody care our president is a criminal stealing from charities?
Trump does not care about You.
I am of course talking about Trump's blatant narcissism. Here is a section dedicated entirely to him not caring about the livelihood of other people. Not very Christian of him if you ask me.
Putting Hundreds of Thousands out of Work
Donald Trump caused the longest government shutdown in history. Do you know what happens when our government shuts down? Government workers don't get paid. It has some other undesirable effects our president does not care about: SNAP recipients not getting their benefits, tens of thousands immigration hearings were shut down, and profit losses for farmers due to delays in safety inspections done by The Food And Drug Administration & Department Of Agriculture.
Family Farmers are Disappearing
One of the most supported and widely known Trump policies are his tariffs on China. People who support these tariffs do not have any clear understanding on what the implications are. Who pays for these tariffs, and who is really getting hit hard by trumpism? Our farmers are. Google it, story after story, video after video of farmers who have been struggling or even had to sell their farms and work shifts at local factories. Farmers are losing billions of dollars due to Trump's trade war.
Tariffs
When you impose tariffs on a nation like China, you have to take into account that China can also tariff you. That is why farmers are suffering. Trump imposes tariffs on China, China does it back, now our farmers are needlessly losing billions. The US imports a massive amount of goods from them. Whether you want to admit it or not, the USA has a huge reliance on Chinese made goods. China, however, does not have the same reliance on us. For goods they do get from the US, like soybeans, feed grains, and pork products, they can easily go elsewhere. Because of this, Trump's tariffs led to a net job loss and higher prices.
Everybody who understood tariffs knew what would happen, it was obvious from the start, but Donald Trump wants you to think that he's doing something to "Bring jobs back to America!"
Is Bringing The Jobs Back From China Really What We Want?
Trump's biggest promise was to the rust belt and those suffering from a loss of jobs to China, but do we really want those jobs back here? Can we get those jobs back? Companies move their labor force to China so they can produce cheap goods. This helps them keep prices down. This is why lower class people can afford smartphones, computers, nice shoes, cars, etc.. If we were to "move these jobs back to America", these goods will become much more expensive to produce. Prices of goods will skyrocket and lower class people will be forced to have a lower standard of living. This is only one hypothetical. The more likely hypothetical, is if we moved manufacturing back to America, these jobs would be handled by machines, *not humans*. The prices of goods may stay the same, but we would lose jobs, and have to build more generally unmanned factories in America. This brings me back to the JQI.
We Want Good Jobs
Instead of focusing on bringing back manufacturing from China, the US should focus on more skilled labor. The jobs moved by corporations to China are 19th century jobs that are extremely easy to do. In America, these jobs are generally handled by machines. If there were regulations against the use of automating the manufacturing process, disregarding the fact that it'd disrupt so many industries, it would only bring forth jobs that would pay minimum wage.
It may seem impossible to think about how you create more "skilled labor jobs" but it's actually quite simple. It just includes doing something that most, if not all, conservatives find repulsive:
Free College Education
Many think, "How could we pay for this?! It's socialist insanity! What's next? Free cars!?" but this is something that the richest countries in the world already do. I'm using
as a source, which is a TED talk that unraveling the findings of Harald Eia and Karl Moene. The question is: "Where in the world is it easiest to get rich?", with "Rich" being a net worth of 30+ million dollars. Well, they found an answer. The countries with the most rich people are, in order from least to most: China, UK, Germany, Japan, and the United States. Note that this is not per capita. This is going off of pure totals, which does not at all represent who has the highest frequency of rich people. If you want to see where its easiest to get rich, you have to look at the numbers per capita, and that list goes as follows from least rich people to most: Denmark, Canada, New Zealand, Sweden, and Norway. The United States is number 13 on this list.
Bernie Sanders is trying to make our economic system mimic these exact countries listed above. Denmark, Canada, New Zealand, Sweden, and Norway, all "Socialist" by Trumpist standards. Except, they're not socialist. They've said themselves they're not socialists. Bernie isn't a socialist. Bernie is a democratic socialist, which means he believes in an extended version of America's capitalist society. "But that doesn't make sense". It does because America isn't a fully capitalist society. America has "socialist", again by your standards, policies. These socialist policies include the Police department, Fire department, Public Education, Roads, etc. they are all forms of socialization. America has never been truly capitalist. If it was, we'd have to pay for our roads out of pocket, same with police, firemen, and kid's schools. Why is all of this important? These other countries with an abundance of rich people per capita have the same policies that we have, plus free education and healthcare. For now, we'll focus on education and it's direct correlation to wealth.
Free education is the pathway to having more wealthy people per capita; to uplift people out of their poor situations with absolutely nothing holding them back, and dramatically less socio-economic barriers standing in their way. This will lead to more quality jobs. If you go to these countries, do you know what you see when you step into a supermarket, similar to Walmart? Self-checkout machines. They don't employ people to do checkout, they don't hire people to clean bathrooms, they don't hire people to check receipts, everything is automated. Do you know where those people work instead? As architects, doctors, lawyers, psychologists, etc. All of these people who would be working at Walmart in America are now able to work where they want to, where they are trained to do what they do, and they're making more money doing it. How awesome would that be? Being able to work where you want, being able to study what you want, not being held down by crushing socioeconomic circumstances that plague our lower class, not becoming a slave to overpriced student debt that never goes away, not having any job openings available that you're qualified for, not staying at your crappy job just because of it's health benefits. Life would be so much easier having the ability to work and take care of your family. We can turn America into this. We can make it the best place for far more people.
I Don't Want My Taxes To Pay For Other People's Education!
This is something I once agreed with. Why should I have to pay for other people's education? First of all, you're not. You're paying the government taxes and the government decides where that money goes. That's how it's always worked and last time I checked, that means that you're already paying for other people's kid's education, other people's calls to the police, other people's calls to the fire departments, and other people's roads. This is no different.
Secondly, here is something you must understand: A more wealthy society means a better society. Cleaner, with less crime. Safer and better for everybody. If you love your country then you should love your fellow countrymen. If you want to live in a society where you can go to a gas station without 5 homeless people standing outside begging for money, if you want to live somewhere where you don't have to worry about being jumped, being shot in a drive-by, if you want to live somewhere where you don't have to be cautious of the neighborhoods you're entering, then you should *want free education*. These countries are living proof that we can have that. We can have clean cities like Germany, we can lower our homeless population to nothing like Norway, dramatically lower drug use, dramatically lower violent crime rate, we can drastically improve everybody's financial situations.
Bernie Sanders has been advocating for this for a long time but the media won't tell you the benefits, they'll only say, "How will we pay for it all?!" which is probably something you're thinking too. I assure you, we have more than enough to pay for everybody's college once universities go public. Have you ever wondered why people haven't said the same thing about our military spending? Because our military spending is ridiculously bloated. 732 billion dollars. If Trump wanted to stop the endless wars, why are American taxpayers spending more than the next 10 largest militaries combined? Perhaps its the privatization of military equipment production? Maybe Trump doesn't want to stop endless wars, but the same money can be utilized to pay for everybody's college like we should be doing. America can focus on America instead of somebody else's issues thousands of miles away.
But cutting our military budget isn't the only option to pay for free education. We can also start taxing rich people something significant. Remember the Trump 2017 Tax Cuts. They are the reason why many veterans and other poor people are without medical coverage, food, and places to live. Again, corporations like Amazon paid -129 million in taxes. If we began to close tax loopholes and raise taxes on the rich, we could afford bettering America by adopting something like free education. Just a thought.
Donald Trump has consistently went against this policy. He has called it evil, he's called it communist, he's called it stupid. What do you think? What data have you seen?
Blatant Corruption
This is the biggest issue with Trump and the Republican party. Yes, both parties have corrupt members. Both are fueled by the corporate class, but Republicans have taken it further than Democrats and it's become the most *unamerican and authoritarian political phenomenon ever*.
Let's Start With The Republican Party
They began the corruption that we see continuing today before Trump was ever their nominee.
Norm Ornstein, a political scientist who has remained nonpartisan his entire life, noticed something strange happen as the years went by.
"The Republican Party, is an insurgent outlier. It has become ideologically extreme; contemptuous of the inherited social and economic policy regime; scornful of compromise; unpersuaded by conventional understanding of facts, evidence, and science; and dismissive of the legitimacy of it's political opposition, all but declaring war on the government. The Democratic Party, while no paragon of civic virtue, is more ideologically centered and diverse, protective of the government's role as it developed over the course of the last century, open to incremental changes in policy fashioned through bargaining with the Republicans, and less disposed to or adept at take-no-prisoners conflict between the parties. This asymmetry between the parties, which journalists and scholars often brush aside or whitewash in a quest for 'balance', constitutes a huge obstacle to effective governance."
Ornstein's main critique of the Republican Party is their methodology, or how they get what they want. While Democrats are far more likely to work with republicans, republicans are far more likely to to stifle debates by using the filibuster. When Obama became president, the Republican Party famously said, "Our top political priority over the next two years should be to deny president Obama a second term." That was said by now Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, AKA Moscow Mitch. However, Mitch McConnell is not the only one. In Robert Draper's book, *Do Not Ask What Good We Do: Inside The U.S House Of Representatives*, Draper said that while in a group of other republicans trying to form a new political strategy, they formed a way to help divide the nation further. Draper claims that Kevin McCarthy stated "If you act like you’re the minority, you’re going to stay in the minority,” Draper quotes McCarthy as saying. “We’ve gotta challenge them on every single bill and challenge them on every single campaign." Want to know what happened 8 days later? Republicans unanimously voted "No" on Obama's economic stimulus plan. This is a classic republican strategy, and doesn't show any signs of corruption whatsoever! It's completely okay that they can reject Obama's budget before it's even printed out, before they could have even had a chance to read it.
Trump isn't a Politician!
Trump was not a politician, but now he is. In fact, the Republican party is no longer the party of moderate conservatism. It is now the party of Trump, and thus, radical conservatism. The RNC just released a document outlining their core beliefs and priorities,
"WHEREAS The RNC enthusiastically supports President Trump and continues to reject the policy positions of the Obama-Biden administration, as well as those espoused by the Democratic National Committee today; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Republican Party has and will continue to enthusiastically support the President's America-first agenda;
RESOLVED, that the 2020 Republican National Convention will adjourn without adopting a new platform until the 2024 Republican National Convention"
You can read it in full here
The rest of the document is a regurgitation of whatever policies Trump supports. It's become his party. Why is this a bad thing? You support Trump, so you probably find solace in knowing that the party is unified in their stance on political issues, but it's so much more than that.
Impeachment
This is a very very big deal. Let me ask you, is Trump guilty? Look further into what happened. Donald Trump attempted to strongarm a foreign government, much like he does with China, into hurting his strongest political opponent. The game was, Trump told the Ukrainian leader that if he wants the aid money that the U.S was going to send, that he had better announce that he is starting an investigation on Biden for corruption. Is that corruption that I smell? Yes it is. Fun fact about the aid that Trump attempted to hold back from Ukraine: the G.A.O report has officially stated, after an investigation, Trump is guilty of breaking the law by withholding previously approved congressional aid. Trump keeps saying that he didn't say what he said, he keeps saying that the transcript is perfect, the call was perfect. Well, does this look perfect to you? If you've done your homework and can understand basic human language, you'd see not only did Trump attempt to bribe Zelensky, but he also made completely baseless claims like Crowdstrike being a Ukrainian company, and Ukraine having the "DNC server". Both claims are incredibly false and are conspiracy theories that hold no ground in reality.
Disregarding Trump's distractingly stupid claims, it was obvious that Trump tried to bribe Zelensky. "Is that an impeachable offense?", Yes it is. Source, The United States Constitution, Article II, Section 4: "Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.". Republicans have been saying throughout the impeachment process that the president did nothing wrong, and then the transcript released and witnesses testified before congress, then Republicans shifted their argument from that to "Well, he did a bad thing, but that doesn't mean it's impeachable", arguing that Carter had also held congressional aid from countries over human rights violations. That is an incredibly disingenuous statement. Why? Let me show you the legal definition for Bribery. Go ahead, read it. Then when you're done, read U.S. Code § 201.Bribery of public officials and witnesses. The point I'm trying to get at here, is that yes, Carter did rightfully hold congressional aid. What makes his situation different from Trump's, however, is that Trump's quid pro quo is *personal*.
"Personal" is the key word here and is described in the sourced above. Donald Trump wants Ukraine to announce an investigation on the Bidens, in exchange for congressional aid. Who benefits from a mere announcement of a criminal investigation into Biden? Donald J. Trump. How does he benefit personally from this? Because Biden will surely be deemed corrupt and much easier to attack if an official government body is known tohave him under investigation, thus making it easier for Trump to win the presidency.
Now, the legitimacy of the impeachment hearings and trial. Trump and trumpists will claim the democrats handled it wrong. At every single turn, Donald Trump and the Republican party tried to claim things were being done wrong. First they wanted an official vote to begin an investigation when congress is not legally required. They claimed they were not being allowed to cross examine and make rebuttals to witnesses, when they were not restricted during the impeachment process.
Then, Matt Gaetz, the living and breathing football helmet, led a storm of republicans passed security to the door where witnesses were being questioned behind closed doors. This was done to protest republicans not allowed to be in the room while witnesses were being questioned by democrats, despite the house intelligence committee republicans were allowed in the room for questioning? Strange. Why would he do this? Why were there also house intelligence committee republicans outside protesting as well? Those republicans saying that they weren't allowed to be present for the inquiry, were allowed in the inquiry! They pretended they weren't invited so they could paint the process as corrupt despite republicans being present, and they could later discredit the results and use it as a talking point on Fox News later. This wasn't a few angry republicans committing themselves to an extremely deceptive protest but Donald Trump supported this decision as well. If you read the transcript, Trump directs Zelensky to consult with Rudy Giuliani, Trump's personal lawyer, AKA not a government official, to do official government business. Somebody who has no accountability or responsibility to America. What a very not corrupt thing to do? That's one way to conduct a secret foreign policy channel, according to Bill Taylor. Want to know something else that doesn't seem right? Lev Parnas. Lev Parnas was hired by Rudy Giuliani to spy on Marie Yovanovitch, at the time our ambassador for Ukraine, in order to further this Biden investigation agenda. Yet, Trump said he didn't know Lev Parnas! Never met him in his life!
. You don't know who this guy is, this massive donor to your campaign.
Enough about why he was getting impeached, what happened to him? The democrats impeached him and from there it moved from the house of representatives to the republican controlled senate. In the republican controlled senate, the republicans literally said "We don't want to hear from witnesses", and immediately voted to not remove Trump from office. Want to know their reasons? "Meh, yeah he was wrong, but not wrong enough to remove him", even though the Constitution Of The United States specifically states what Trump did is grounds for removal. Any non corrupt or educated person can see right through them.
Trump's Taxes
This is the hottest topic right now as The New York Times just released a lengthy article about Trump's taxes. His economic policies have always included relaxing the tax code ever since he came in office. He's been using taxpayer money to funnel it into his businesses. He has attempted to make the case for trickle down economics. Everything he's done with our economy points to Trump coming out of the presidency on a much better foot than he started with financially. Of course this is corrupt, acting in his own interests instead of the interests of the people, but what's really concerning here are the returns he's claimed he's entitled to. If the IRS' investigation finds any issues with what Trump has done, this will mean that after fees, Trump will owe 100+ million dollars to our government to make up for the 70+ million that he stole. That's quite a lot of money for somebody who only paid $750 in taxes for each of the first two years of his presidency. Before that, he didn't pay any taxes at all during 10 of the previous 15 years.
Trump (Scam) University
Did you know that Donald Trump once tried to open up a school? This school didn't last very long because it was a scam, as determined by a judge in 2018, when they finalized a 25 million dollar settlement for "Victims of Donald Trump's fraudulent university". Trump University was created to teach students *"the Trump process for investing in today’s once-in-a-lifetime real estate market."*, using hand-picked instructors from Trump himself. Only, the instructors weren't hand-picked, and didn't even really know Trump at all. They are said to have came from a *"third-party company that creates and develops materials for an array of motivational speakers and seminar and timeshare rental companies."*. These "Handpicked Instructors" from Trump, weren't even qualified to be teaching the classes that they taught. Often times, professors had zero experience in real estate, had gone bankrupt, or had just stopped showing up after the first seminar. There were different tiers of learning that one could purchase, but students noticed that lower tier courses spent a lot of time just trying to tell them to buy the higher tier courses. In fact, the sales staff were advised by their superiors to make sure that lower tier students could only think about a higher tier. *"If they can afford the gold elite don’t allow them to think about doing anything besides the gold elite"*. They did things like encourage students to ask for credit limit increases so that they could pay for the $35,000 "Trump Gold Elite" package, and that doing so would raise their credit scores. They encouraged students to purchase this tier because the lower tier didn't really teach anything, just that all the most valuable secrets were available at the highest level. Even the employees and instructors didn't feel good about the level of hard selling and scamming they'd have to do, employees saying that they got reprimanded or resigned due to this scummy tactic the company used to make more money off of poor students.
He's Anti-Climate Change
This is something that Trump denied during the recent debate, but as the moderator, Chris Wallace of Fox News stated, everything he does says otherwise. Have you ever heard the phrase "Actions speak louder than words"? This is what we mean. Trump claims that "Humans have some part in climate change, though not much", and that he is doing all he can to stop the speeding up of climate change. First of all, we have a huge impact on climate change, way more than Trump gives us credit for, and secondly, Donald Trump has rolled back Obama era regulations that helped America cut down on fossil fuel use and lessen the emissions into our atmosphere. Donald Trump also said during the debate, that the Green New Deal, would cost upwards of "100 Trillion Dollars". He's been using this same line since last year, but there is no evidence to support that it would cost that much. The Green New Deal is just a resolution. It being a resolution means that there is nothing inside that economists can use to determine what it costs. The thing is, Biden isn't even advocating for The Green New Deal like Trump says he is. Biden has his own, more moderate plan for dealing with the climate crisis. Let's not forget that Trump had also backed America out of the Paris Agreement, which aimed to cut down on emissions, and reduce the effects of climate change.
Let's Talk About Who Trump Is, As A Person
Donald Trump, aside from being very corrupt and a very good liar, he is also just a plain terrible person. First of all, Donald Trump is racist.
"But how, libtard, you guys call EVERYONE racist!!!" No dude, we just call racists racist. I've been hearing a lot about how people think that Biden is racist, because Biden said "If you don't vote for me, you ain't black", and then also said "Poor kids can be just as smart as white kids". I'd to say that the first statement there was very clearly a way to say "If you don't vote for me, you don't care about the black race. You are literally voting against your interests as a black individual". That second statement was very obviously a mistake, he didn't mean to say it. This mistake likely happened because of \**dun dun DUN*\* systemic racism, lets talk about that!
Systemic Racism, The Boogeyman That Scares The Snowflakes On The Right
To be clear, I am somebody who used to not think systemic racism was real. I thought systemic racism didn't exist and that thinking it did exist, was just somebody trying to be a lazy victim. This is generally how far right reactionaries like Ben Shapiro like to paint systemic racism.
First, let's define systemic racism. Racism is made up of a few different types of racism. The first and most obvious form of racism, is explicit racism. Examples of explicit racism include enslaving a specific race, making laws that say things like "black people cant do x", and calling black people the N word. Explicit racism is obvious, it's an open expression that tells those who are listening that you are 100% racist. The mistake that most conservatives make when discussing systemic racism, is thinking that for something to be racist, it has to be explicitly racist. It has to be so obviously racist that you can't do mental gymnastics to justify it. The second type of racism is implicit racism.
Implicit racism is when something is not obviously racist. Example: Nobody is saying the N word or saying that black people can't do something, but regardless, their actions will still have an outcome that disproportionately affects black people. Examples of this in today's society would be things like differences in sentencing for black people. This report made by the United States Sentencing Commission, shows that black male offenders receive 19.1% longer federal sentences than similarly-situated white male offenders. This controls for things like past offenses, socioeconomic background, etc. Here is another study, done by Conner Key Birdsong, titled "Does Appearance Matter?: The Effect Of Skin Tones On Trustworthy And Innocent Appearances". In this particular study, pictures of inmates are shown to entry-level criminal justice students for them to evaluate the trustworthiness of the faces. The race of the student was shown to not matter in this study. Generally, students rated the pictures of the light skinned inmates as more trustworthy when dark skinned inmates. Another study done by the APA, concluded that black boys are viewed as older and less innocent than white boys. The study tested students and police officers. Police officers who thought this way were found to be more likely to use violence against black children. The APA did another study, very similar to the last one, where they concluded that the general perception of black men, was that black men are larger and more threatening than similarly sized white men. That black men were more capable of causing harm and that police would be more justified in using violence against them, even if the black man was unarmed. Then this study shows that felons, with their first time in prison, received sentences at about 270 days longer than a white person's if they were black. This study also accounted for the situations. Another study that looked into the bail amounts of criminals, and found that black people received much higher bail than white people who committed similar crimes. If the crime was a violent one, the bail was on average, $7,000 higher. If you committed a drug related crime, then the bail was on average $13,000 higher. And if you committed a crime related to public order, your bail, on average, was about $10,000 higher. Here is another example that shows that black people are less likely to have their sentence reduced that white people. I think you get the point, even if not intended, the outcome can still be racist.
The last form of racism is racism by outcome. Firstly, let's preface this by saying that economic mobility over time has dropped dramatically. What this means, is that if you are born poor, you are more likely to stay poor. If you're born wealthy, you're more likely to stay wealthy, and the data shows that there is significantly less economic mobility now than ever before. How is this racist? Well, imagine you are a black family who have just been freed from slavery. When you became free, you were given nothing. Now also remember we live in a capitalist society where those with money can more easily make more money, and those without money have a very hard time at making more money. So now you have a situation where the white population, who've had a much larger head start in the economy, is far wealthier than the black population, who began late in the economy and have had policy implemented to stop them from being able to do better. This has been perpetuated throughout history because economic mobility for black people in America has been terrible. So because of this head start from white people, and the past explicitly racist policy that negatively effected black people up until the 70's, the average white household is still worth 10 times more than the average black family. The average white household net worth is about $171,000, while the average black household is worth about $17,150. The rules of economic mobility basically state that if there was no more implicit or explicit racism, that if race just ceased to exist in the eyes of all of the people, racism by outcome would still exist due to the black population still feeling the perpetual effects of past implicit and explicit racism. You could say that fixing racism by outcome is what needs to be addressed first before anything. The most common analogy used to describe racism by outcome for those who still don't understand, is to imagine that you are running a race. You and your opponent have the same build and you always tie at other races in other parts of the world. So basically saying that you two are essentially the same. Now imagine that the referee shoots you in the leg. After shooting you in the leg, the referee starts the race, and you are forced to run with a bullet wound, hardly able to move that leg at all. Your opponent will win the race every single time because you have been shot in the foot. White people have had, not only a head start in our economy, but our government also put black people down for the majority of time that they've been "free" in this country.
So let's talk about what else America has done to put black people down in this country over the years. First of all, there is the glaring fact that slavery existed. Slavery, like mentioned above, *still effects black people today*. But that is not the only thing that happened to black people in America. Let us first look into a giant reason why systemic racism exists and it perpetuated throughout this country's history, up to today: Redlining. Redlining was the process of designating certain neighborhoods to black people. For those of us who paid attention in high school history classes, europeans used to do the same thing with jews, and then called these neighborhoods "ghettos". So what's up with these neighborhoods that black people were forced into. Well, firstly, their homes were very cheaply made. Their homes were tiny and filled with *lead paint*, they were even closer to industrial areas with large factories. The lead paint bit is extremely important. Lead paint has very bad effects on the minds of people who grow up in houses with it. This includes, behavioral issues like increased irritability, hyperactive and inattentive personality disorders, and makes children have issues with reading and learning. This paper from Harvard University, talks about their findings after research done on what races are generally effected by lead paint in their homes. It concluded that black and hispanic neighborhoods have very high rates of lead toxicity compared to white neighborhoods. They attributed this disproportionate affect to socioeconomic factors like poverty and education. Speaking of education, remember that talk about economic mobility, and generational wealth? Well, white people were able to get a lot more money during the time that black people were free, partly because of their education. Now, with redlining, we have to talk about education. Do you know why schools in poor neighborhoods are worse than schools in wealthier neighborhoods? It's because schools are funded by the surrounding area's property taxes. So if you live in a poor neighborhood, your school isn't getting nearly as much in funding as wealthier neighborhoods' schools. Property taxes don't make up the entirety of the school's funding, but it makes up for a very significant amount, and that matters because schools are already horribly defunded. Remember when Donald Trump's "America First" budget cut the funding for education and healthcare, so that he could funnel even more money into our military? Did you know we spend more on our military than the next 10 countries combined? Anyways, black people get worse education than white people do on average. Their classrooms are filled up with way more students, they have less school supplies, older and less books, less access to modern schooling solutions, less teachers, worse paid teachers, worse access to school nurses and counselors, etc. But it doesn't just stop there. White americans also had far more access to college level education than black people did when they became able to attend university. This means that white people were given the tools to succeed and generate more wealth that follows their children down the line, hence larger generational wealth. Redlining is a huge reason why black americans have far less opportunity than white americans do. Their neighborhoods are built in the worst parts of the cities, next to airports, factories, and heavy traffic areas.
But what else have been done to hurt black communities? Well, banks are still finding ways to enforce redlining. You see, even in modern day America, black people are twice as likely to be denied a home mortgage loan than white people are. I mean, they found that black people were granted 23 of the 1,119 conventional home purchase loans Chase made in Washington in 2015 and 2016. Another thing that black people are twice as likely to be denied is a job. Specifically if they have a "black sounding name". If your name is Tyrone, studies show that you are twice as likely to not get a call back on your job application, as an identically skilled/educated person with a white sounding name like Joe, or Tyler. These are two examples of how systemic racism is perpetuated throughout history. It keeps poor black people from moving up, it keeps them poor. Do you know what happens when you create this unfair and terrible socioeconomic conditions? They turn to crime.
There is a conservative argument going around called "13/50" that is used to explain systemic racism and how it doesn't exist. It basically says that while black people only make up 13% of the population, they commit 50% of the crime. Now, often, conservatives never bother to explain this point because all of the explanations serve as evidence to support the fact that there is systemic racism. The reason why black people on average commit far more crime is because of a few things. Firstly, are the socioeconomic conditions forced onto them by America. Secondly, the over policing of their neighborhoods, which means that in actuality, black people are overrepresented in crime statistics. You see, that second point is due to predictive policing. Basically, police are going to patrol poor neighborhoods more because that's where more crime is. The more police you send to these poor neighborhoods, the more crime you find, and the more crime you perpetuate. If you send 10 police officers to one neighborhood, and one officer to another, the one with 10 officers will always find more crime. We've already talked about the socioeconomic conditions that affect black people and keep them poor, but with over policing, black people are disproportionately imprisoned. They are incarcerated at a rate of about 5 times higher than white people. This makes a disproportionate amount of black people felons, even for charges over weed possession, which black people are 4 times more likely to be arrested for than white people are. People with black sounding names are already twice as likely to have their resume thrown in the trash, so when you are a black felon, your opportunities available to you as a black american are far far lower than even before. This means that you are more likely to commit crimes. Have you ever heard the phrase "I'm a product of my environment"? Statistically speaking, more people are just products of their environment than people would like to realize. Black america is the perfect example. Forced to live poor in garbage neighborhoods with no school and no money, they are forced to turn to crime like selling drugs to make ends meet. This creates more policing, which in turn gets more people arrested over stupid things like possession of weed, which creates more criminals after the fact due to lessened opportunities because of that arrest/prison sentence, and so on. America literally created the crime problem it tries to solve through over policing. America also caused the mass implicit bias against black people that I talked about earlier. Remember when I said that Police are more likely to use force against black children compared to white children? remember how people view black people as more threatening and dangerous? This is how America has f*#@ed over the black population. Anyways, back to that 13/50 argument, because some people who claim this argument, have a very interesting explanation. They say "Oh no, socioeconomic conditions caused by systemic racism didn't cause this, *black culture caused this!*". I sincerely hope that you aren't dumb enough to think this way. If you blame black crime and heightened levels of disproportionate negative effects for black people on *culture*, then you are stupid. I would like you to think about what culture means. What defines culture? What caused "black culture" to be this way? This is something that 13/50ers refuse to answer. Do you know why? Because the answer they don't want to give is racist. Because they don't want to admit that socioeconomic factors play the largest role in why black people commit more crime, we have to assume that the only other factor that they can talk about is race. That's right, they're saying that black culture is the way it is because they are black. This is why if you say 13/50, you are racist. You are also dumb for not thinking that anti-black policies don't play any effect in shaping one's culture.
Speaking of police, did you know that the police kill black people at a rate of around 3 times higher than white people? But black people have no reason to be mad at police, right? Anyways, enough about systemic racism. This relates to Trump because Donald Trump has openly stated that he does not believe that. That, referring to systemic racism. So how could a president, who openly denies it's existence, possibly make policy that will help america's black population? He can't. Do you know what Trump does instead? He tries to make black people look like animals, with his poor portrayal of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Black Lives Matter
Firstly I'd like to address everybody that says AllLivesMatter. You are being very ignorant. Saying AllLivesMatter is like saying on 9/11, that AllBuildingsMatter, and that we should care about ALL buildings, not just the Twin Towers. Literally nobody except for people like Trump, say that ONLY black lives matter. Nobody is saying that black lives are the only lives that matter. Nobody is saying that all lives don't matter, what we are saying, is that right now, black lives are, in general, disproportionately effected in negative ways.
Secondly I'd like to tackle the misconception perpetuated by Trump and the right, that BLM supporters are just rioters and looters trying to burn down America. Think about what shows up on the news. Do you think the news is going to cover every peaceful protest? Or do you think that the news, a corporation, is going to show what's going to get them more views and more money? You'd be correct in saying that the news is going to show what's going to get more attention, that is why there is such overrepresentation of the riots in our media. The media won't tell you that *actually*, 93% of the Black Lives Matter protests, have been paceful. This was done over about 2,620 different protest locations, and only 220 of those protests reported "violent demonstrations". Violent demonstrations meaning "acts targeting other individuals, property, businesses, other rioting groups or armed actors.", which includes fighting back against police, vandalism, property destruction, looting, road blocking, and burning things. Some people have said, "Well why is that 7% of non peaceful protest acceptable?!" And it isn't, which is why I kindly ask the police and right wing agitators to stop inciting violence. I mean, it's a very human response. Of course police, who are already far more likely to be violent at home with about 40% of police homes experiencing domestic violence, are going to respond in a very human way. Imagine you are somebody with anger issues, and a tendency to become violent. Now imagine that there is somebody yelling in your face, insulting you and what you do for a living. Imagine they are pointing out what a terrible job you're doing. Do you think you're going to remain peaceful? Because the
. That is a graphic video that will show you police brutality across America, you've been warned, it's long and it's hard to watch for some people. So yeah, I don't like that 7% of protests have turned into riots, but you cannot possibly attribute a lot of those riots and acts of violence to the protesters. Police and right wing militia groups have incited enough violence on their own, *they're out there causing riots themselves*.
Now let's talk about defunding the police. That sounds like a very scary phrase. Unfortunately, just like literally everything else, republicans including Trump, are spinning this line to mean something else entirely. Let me get this straight, defunding the police does not mean abolishing the police*. To understand what defunding the police actually means, we first have to look at what police actually spend their time doing. Thankfully, The New York Times has already done research on that. If you look at the very first graph, you'll see exactly what police generally spend their time doing. 32-37% is spent responding to non criminal calls. Do you know what non criminal calls are? They are calls like missing persons reports, noise complains, and showing up to assist with car accidents. Do we really need people with behavioral issues and guns with minimal training to handle this? What about Traffic? 13-19% of what police do seems to be traffic related. Sitting in their cars, catching people who are speeding, parking tickets, etc. Do we need police for this either? Look at what police do the *least*. Police handle property crime about 12-14% of the time, and handle violent crime around 4% of the time. Did you know that most property crime and violent crime go unsolved? If police had more time to focus on property and violent crime, maybe we could get that number up and really start helping people with serious issues. Unfortunately, police have to spend the majority of their time doing non criminal calls, traffic work, and medical work, things that we really don't need police for. Defunding the police comes in and states that we should redirect *some amount of police funding into new programs that are designed to handle these specific things. For example, think of how many situations where people die during traffic stops due to police inciting violence. Police have guns. They've shown over the years to not handle this responsibility with care, and people die because of it. If we had a department just for traffic, we could make sure that they don't have lethal weaponry, and we can better equip them for traffic duties that will save taxpayers money over time, like outfitting them with electric cars, instead of gas powered cars. Fun fact about gas powered police cars, a police chief who uses a Tesla Model 3 as his police car, costs around $7,000 less per year to operate, compared to his old Dodge Charger. The Tesla is also several times faster than that Dodge Charger, so people can't get away as easily. Anyways, for non criminal calls, we can have another department, where it's made up of officers with non lethal weapons that specialize in de-escalation. We must also think about the types of people who join the police force, and what their reasons are for joining. You see, people who join the police force tend to be more authortarian. This means that they're generally the kind of people who want to have power over others, and display that they have power over others. They're people who generally believe that you should shut up and listen, do what they say without question because they are the authority*. It's important to remember that the police aren't themselves arbiters of what's right or wrong. They are merely agents of the courts. Anyways, if we make separate departments for non criminal calls and traffic, then we will get different types of people to join them. These people won't have guns, and they will most likely not have an authoritarian personality type, those people will still likely join the force, as 77% percent of cops joined the police to see some action. This will lead to far less deaths during traffic stops and non criminal altercations. This will stop a lot of the issues, like how the NYPD paid a quarter billion dollars in *just settlements. Insane. This will also allow cops to do more of what they joined the police to do, and on top of that, police will have more time and resources to solve property and violent crimes. That is what defunding the police means. None of that fear mongering nonsense that Trump will tell you, like how we want the police to just not exist and be replaced by psychologists or something.
Trump will still claim that we mean to abolish the police, and he will openly deny that systemic racism is real. Doing this means that he is actively misleading the public about issues that the black population face, and he is purposefully perpetuating systemic racism. Aside from this making him racist, Donald Trump has also said horrible things about mexicans in order to strike fear and encourage discrimination against them. But we've already talked about that. Something we haven't talked about though is how Trump used to run his businesses. In the 60's, Donald Trump was sued by The Justice Department, for denying housing to black people on the basis of race. Or The muslim ban, or when he told congresswomen of color to go back to their own countries, or when he said that he wasn't going to let low income housing be build near suburbs. Remember how Donald Trump treated Obama? Donald Trump was a prominent "birther", which means that Donald Trump didn't believe that Obama was born in the USA, and therefore not able to serve as president. This was based on nothing but his skin color. Trump thought he was born in Kenya. In 2015, Donald Trump also had to include that Obama was black, when criticizing him for his handling of the Baltimore protests. "Our great African American President hasn't exactly had a positive impact on the thugs who are so happily and openly destroying Baltimore!"*. Then, when Donald Trump learned the race of a judge handling two lawsuits against Trump University, Donald Trump said *"He’s a Mexican ... We’re building a wall between here and Mexico. The answer is, he is giving us very unfair rulings — rulings that people can’t even believe."*. Again, actions speak louder than words. And Trump's actions have been explicitly racist, not only does he say racist things, he's done racist things and he's been sued for it. At this point, it is insane to *not think that Donald Trump is racist. What about his reluctance to condemn white supremacy groups such as the KKK, the alt-right, and the Proud Boys? Just in that last debate, even, Donald Trump could not condemn white supremacy groups! Do you know what he said? He said "Stand back and stand by" to these white supremacy groups. And then, right after saying that, he said "But somebody's gotta do something about Antifa and the left". Pure deflection. He can't do it. He cannot just condemn white supremacy. He gets offended when people want him to condemn it for some reason, so every time he is forced to condemn these groups, he just has to do some whataboutism logical fallacy about how its *actually, Antifa and the left that we need to worry about*.
What is Antifa, Anyways?
You are probably at this point thinking that "Yeah, maybe something should be done about Antifa". I'd just like you to know what Antifa actually is. Antifa is not and organization. Antifa is not organized. Antifa doesn't have a central meeting place, forum, message board, list of members, or anything. The Proud Boys is an example of an organization. They have members, they have central ideas and beliefs, they have management, and they are organized. That is what an organization is. What Antifa means, is Anti-fascist. Antifa is just a shortened version of the word antifascist. So if you are anti-fascism, then you are antifa. That's how this works. But why do we see the right and Trump complain about Antifa so much?
Trump & Fascism
Donald Trump is at most a fascist, and at the very least, a proto-fascist. The reason why you see so much of Antifa is because antifa people are calling Trump out and protesting his fascist ideas and strategies. For example, we talked about the impeachment earlier. The impeachment was probably Trump's biggest fascist moment in time. He took command of the republican party, he threatened witnesses, he stopped witnesses from testifying, he had the republicans side with him despite the obvious high crimes broken, and then he fired not only Lt. Col. Vindman for testifying, but he also fired Lt. Col. Vindman's brother. This is why I say that the military are only Trump's pawns until they go against him. Lt. Col. Vindman testified honestly in front of congress during an impeachment hearing, and Trump didn't like what he said. So, Trump fired him, and then also for some reason fired the brother, even though they were proven correct. This is what fascists do. Trump broke laws specifically listed in The Constitution, had his corrupt party make sure that he wouldn't be punished at all for it, and then fired the people who were just doing the right thing. This is what fascism looks like. Wanna know what else fascism looks like?
. That is a video of BLM protesters outside The White House being tear gassed, rammed, punched, and arrested so that Trump could walk over to a church to take a picture with a bible. Not his bible, just a bible. Donald Trump, while lying to the public saying that these protesters are rioters and looters, that they're just here to be violent and burn places down, decides to actually incite a riot outside The White House by assaulting protesters for no reason. Anyways, Trump's general attitude is very fascist-esque. He uses fear to make the other side look evil, he says that the democrats are going to burn our cities down, remember that? Remember when Trump shared a video of rioting and looting then said "This is what Biden's America would look like"? Do you think Donald Trump realized that he showed a video from his America? And his followers just ate that up. "Yeah, screw Biden, people would be burning stuff down and rioting in the streets if he was president!" They say while watching a video of people in Trumps America burning stuff down and rioting in the streets*. This is a fascist tactic. Scare the people into voting for you. Anyways, everything Trump does is reminiscent of fascist behavior, let's talk about something else that's very important to the republican base. Remember how I said earlier that the bible Trump was holding wasn't his bible, it was just *a bible?
Well I Don't Think Trump Has Ever Held His Own Bible
I doubt Trump has even bought his own bible, or even attended a church session in his life before becoming president. Let me ask you, what values do you hold as a christian? Is it honesty? Because Trump is a pathological liar telling literally thousands of lies since becoming president. Is it compassion? Love Thy Neighbor? Is Trump compassionate? Donald Trump literally ran on how edgy he was. He ran on how little empathy he possessed. Trump doesn't feel compassion for anybody, except for apparently, child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell. Speaking of child sex trafficking, did you know that Donald Trump knew the prominent one, Jeffery Epstein? I mean, here's a picture of them together, and another, and another, and here's him with Ghislaine Maxwell, and yeah I think you get it now.
Donald Trump Is A Pedophile
So yeah, I just showed you a bunch of pictures of Trump with known child sex traffickers, but did you know that he wasn't just friends with Epstein? They were buddies in court too, after Katie Johnson took Trump and Epstein to court for actual child rape in 1994. That is the entire lawsuit document, but under factual allegations, it says:
"Donald Trump and Jeffery Epstein, did willfully and with extreme malice violate her Civil Rights by sexually and physically abusing Plaintiff Johnson by forcing her to engage in various perverted and depraved sex acts by threatening physical harm to Plaintiff Johnson and also her family." "conspiring to deny Plaintiff Johnson her Civil Rights by making her their sex slave." "claims she was subject to extreme sexual and physical abuse by the Defendants Donald Trump and Jeffery Epstein, including forcible rape during a four month time span" "when Plaintiff Johnson was still only a minor of age 13." "she was enticed by promises of money and a modeling career to attend a series of underage sex parties held at the New York City residence of Defendant Jeffery Epstein and attended by Donald Trump." "Katie Johnson was forced to manually stimulate Defendant Trump with the use of her hand upon Defendant Trump's erect penis until he reached sexual orgasm" "Katie Johnson was forced to orally copulate Defendant Trump"
This is our president. Somebody who allegedly raped children. But what else has President Trump done? Well, did you know that Donald Trump used to run a beauty pageant for teens? Isn't that at least a little creepy? A middle aged man who owns a beauty pageant that teens participate in? Well, it gets worse. Donald Trump actually used to walk into their dressing rooms while they were naked. Walking into the dressing rooms of minors while they were naked. I mean, the contestants stated that they felt helpless, he owned the pageant and there was nobody to complain to. But Trump felt like he could do whatever he wants, he openly admitted that he sexually assaults women because he's famous and they let him do it. There are so many stories of Trump being creepy and of actual rape, but Donald Trump will deny them all, even paying women off tens of thousands of dollars so that they don't talk. Anyways, back to pedophilia, because this man is so incredibly creepy with his daughter. Have you seen pictures that he took with his daughter Ivanka? Here's a weird one, and here's one when Ivanka was 16, and Trump said "She's hot! Right?". Then he said that "I don't think Ivanka would pose nude inside the Playboy magazine. She does have a very nice figure" and later said "If Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her". Insanely creepy, how does this get you to the top of the republican ballot?!
Grossness Aside
What other christian values does Trump live with? Peace? He's certainly not peaceful. I mean, aside from literal acts of war, like assassinating another country's general without any congressional approval whatsoever, the guy is just plain vitriolic, full of hated. Remember when Donald Trump threatened to commit war crimes and bomb churches and other cultural sites in another country? Yeah, that really happened. His willingness and encouragement to use violence against peaceful protesters? The guy is the most unpeaceful man on the planet, and he acts like a complete child.
This Man Is A Child
He is the opposite of presidential, and I get that his voters want a "hardass" president that doesn't take s#*! from other people, but Trump literally cries about every little thing, he is the biggest snowflake on the planet! I mean, remember when he wanted to be Time Magazine's Person Of The Year? Remember when he lost? When he lost to a disabled 16 year old girl, he started mocking her on Twitter. The President Of The United States, everyone, insulting little girls on Twitter because he didn't win the award he wanted! Or how about during the debate when Trump kept talking over Biden? He hardly let Biden get two words in. That presidential debate, for those who don't watch debates, was very odd because never before in the history of debates has the president of the United States shown such a disregard for the rules that he doesn't let the other one speak. Trump didn't even let the moderator speak! But it's quite normal that Trump doesn't want to let anybody speak, at least, if you're against him.
For instance, Donald Trump does not want social media outlets to have free speech, because social media outlets in recent years have begun to tag false content as false or misleading. Donald Trump claims that this is limiting free speech, but is that really limiting it? They aren't stopping him from saying anything, they're just fact checking it and then labelling what he says as wrong or misleading. This is literally them practicing their own free speech as a business, not the other way around.
He Will Not Be Our President Again.
Donald Trump cannot become president again. He is tearing down the structures of our government and the protections we have in place for the people and our government. He is making us more divided than ever, taking advantage of people's emotions and turning us against each other. Since 2016 we have become significantly more divided, and that's all a part of the republican strategy to challenge democrats on everything and never compromise. It's all a part of their strategy to appeal to people's emotions and fearmonger republican voters into voting for them. He is a liar. Politicians will lie to you though. Why? Because they need something to run on that will incite an emotional response from you. Politicians like Trump will tell lies about immigrants that are proven false by all the data available, and then use that to scare you. Many of the things republicans say are said just to scare wine moms into voting for them out of pure emotional response. Immigrants *"stealing our jobs!", "Black Lives Matter burning down white people's homes!", "Muslims are going to radicalize America!", "The leftist mob is going to limit free speech and put hard working suburban people in prison for saying offensive jokes!"*. Many of what republicans do is just to instill fear, this is why, according to Psychology Today, conservatives tend to be react to fear more, focus on the negative, fear new experiences, and have a heightened physiological response to threats. Their study concluded that the republican tactic of scaring uneducated people into voting truly works. Speaking of uneducated voters, did you know that Trump, while losing the popular vote by 3 million votes, had the largest share of uneducated voters? The ratio was almost 2:1 when talking about uneducated white voters that voted for Trump over Hillary. Trump and the republicans specifically target uneducated people because of something called the Dunning-Kruger Effect. This is something that happens to people who are dumber than other people are, but think they are smarter. Pretty much all conspiracy theorist Qanon types have fallen victim to this psychological state of mind, but it also infects the minds of more moderate people, like the general republican base. They instill fear into the minds of their base, and then they appeal to their emotions with sweet words like "build the wall", an easy to think about solution to this made up problem. This makes their mind go through a process that, through an appeal to authority, solidifies in their mind that this is an issue that needs to be solved. They've moved passed the point of "Is this really an issue", and are now thinking about how to fix this very disturbing and scary issue that totally exists. It's scary how well Trump's tactic is working, and it's scary the direction that he is taking America in. All we can ever do is vote and hope that he doesn't tamper with the elections even more than he has been. Like telling lies about the mail-in voting system, and encouraging people to break the law by committing voter suppression. Trump is realizing that his best strategy is to stop as many people as possible from voting, so let's get out there and vote in numbers never seen before to show Trump and the two parties that we will not stand for corruption.
Enough About Donald Trump, Who Am I Voting For?
Well, to tell you the truth, I voted for Bernie Sanders in the California Primary. I know, I know, republicans think that Bernie is a communist/socialist/radical left democrat. I'd argue that he is none of those things. I already above spoke a tiny bit about how Bernie is not a socialist, but I'd like to speak more about what he actually believes in, because I think this will be extremely important in our next election, in 2024. Bernie Sanders believes in a system called
. So what's the difference between socialism and democratic socialism? Well Democratic socialism mainly differentiates itself by stopping the implementation of systems that allow corrupt politicians to profit from socialized industries, and does not believe in any type of planned economy. Bernie's specific flavor of "Democratic Socialism" means a few things. Firstly, that it is only an expansion of America's current economic system, a mixed economy that "exhibits characteristics of both capitalism and socialism". That's right, America is not exactly a true capitalist society. America does have "socialist characteristics" such as the police, the fire department, road building and maintenance, and public education. There is more to it, but all of those are characteristics of socialism. That is why you do not need to pay the police for showing up at your house, and you don't need to pay a monthly fee to use the roads in your city. Bernie Sanders wants to expand upon this system to include things like Education and Healthcare. Education costs an unreasonable amount of money and people often spend their entire lives paying it off, even if they have good paying jobs. Healthcare is the same. Big Pharma is a huge issue, life saving drugs cost a fortune here in the US compared to countries like Canada, and medical bills are enough to make middle class families go bankrupt. I mean, a single ride to the hospital a few blocks away can cost you $2,500 in America. Our healthcare and education systems are out of control and we need to do something about it. I spoke earlier about how public education would greatly help americans in the long run, but it's all a part of Bernie's plan to help the average american. Republicans and other corrupt, money hungry politicians will tell you that it's impossible, despite the fact that all other countries that have better economies than America, have all had this system implemented, some for even over 100 years! I really think that Bernie's plan is the most patriotic one. As an American, don't you want to uplift your fellow countrymen? I mean, why the division? Why the hate? Why can't we all just agree that the only way to really be the best country in the world, is to help our fellow american? With just public healthcare and education, we would see a dramatic decrease in crime rates, homelessness, and poverty. This would lead to cleaner cities, cleaner towns, higher standards of living, and a booming economy. And yes, that does mean that we'll have to tax everyone more, but think about how much money you'd actually be saving overall. Not having to pay for any medical insurance, not having to pay for any college, you'll end up spending less money overall if you pay for public healthcare and education through taxes, than if you just paid for health insurance and school by yourself. This is partly because every american will pitch in, and partly because these institutions will no longer be running a for-profit model which exponentially increases price of operation. But do you know who else will pay more in taxes? The rich and corporations. We already know that they're hardly paying anything in taxes, I mean Donald Trump only paid like what, $750 in 2016? if the rich paid their fair share in taxes, then we would all have much better lives. The, for some reason, controversial part of saying that is when the question of "How much?" get's brought up. For some reason, asking billionaires to pay 50-75% of their income is too much to ask for. Do you know what billionaires do with their money? They sit on it. This is proven by the failures of Trump-style, and past republican trickle down economic policy. Billionaires will sit on their money and do nothing with it. So why not take most of their money? I think the average person really overestimates how much money a billion dollars really is. If you, and this is very oversimplified example, make a billion dollars in one year, you actually profit a billion dollars, you will still have 250 million dollars after taxes. What the hell are you going to use 250 million dollars for? Why not put that back into our government so that everybody's lives can become better? Oh well, Bernie Sanders didn't win the primary, so now I am going to vote for Biden. Biden is the next best thing. Far from ideal, but also far from being as bad as Donald Trump. I hope that one day America will progress further and accept these changes before it's too late. Unfortunately, Biden still may not win. Not because people wont vote for him though. Biden might not win because America is not a democracy. Hillary Clinton got 3 million more votes than Donald Trump did in 2016, but Donald Trump still won. This is because he won the electoral college. This is why a Californian resident's vote matters significantly less than a Wisconsin resident's vote. So if we want to ensure that americans get the change that they want, we first have to tear down this very flawed system. We need to make America a true democracy.

2 whole posts, and this wall of text is one of them..... Hhhhmmmm.....

Trumps big issue is with ILLEGAL immigration. And now we have covid...... Which really puts a damper on things.

Please name one politician that actually kept his campaign promises. I'll wait. But, not long......

Trump DID repeal the individual mandate from Obamacare, which is what most folks took issue with.

Yeah, I only needed to glance through the first 2 paragraphs to know that 1) Raikolt is lying about being a former Trump supporter, and 2) Everything that's in the great wall of text is complete garbage as well as undeniably and verifyably false and misleading.

But I guess we'll just have to wait for Trump's landslide in November, then see what the leftists will say and do then. My advice is stock up on ... essentials ...

Literally not lying. I ran a conservative anti-feminist/anti-sjw/anti-BLM blog from 2013 to 2017, debated and got blocked by people like Chanty Binx and Franchesca Ramsey. Received death threats and hate messages from thousands of liberals and leftists, just like any other person with garbage views. I was a fiscal libertarian who firstly supported Rand Paul in the 2016 election (Because Rand was and still is far more libertarian than any other republican candidate), but then supported Trump after Rand had dropped out. Hillary was and still is dogshit, I don't imaging these last four years would've done any better under her, but that doesn't mean that Trump isn't a garbage president, because he is. Trump's terrible job at being a president is what led me to open my eyes and to challenge my bias. I'm still anti-sjw and anti-feminist, as far as 3rd wave feminism goes, but I've done a complete 180 on BLM and many other issues. I think most of the reason why I've changed so much is because I gained empathy, something that one must lack to be a fiscal libertarian/conservative.

Also you did not point out what exactly in my wall of text is wrong and misleading. What exactly do you have a problem with? All of that white text you see are sources listed. Studies from many different places, news articles, photos, etc. it's all there for you to dissect if you want. It's all there for you to verify the credibility of the study done. You can check their methodology.

Illegal immigration is exactly what I'm referencing in that section. Undocumented immigrants commit half as any crimes compared to natives and documented immigrants, and they also don't really negatively effect our native labor force. I say they dont really effect it, because they did have an effect on the absolute lowest on the native totem pole, high school dropouts.

Not keeping campaign promises is something that no president can do fully, but that doesn't mean it's false.

And I'm not sure about what you said regarding Obamacare

why can't you trump supporter stop bulls****ing yourself with your posts? do you think anyone - apart from yourself - takes your contentless left wing bashing serious ? you are missing permanently the point in this debate and to cope with content, relevant for the debate.

it is not about left or right here - it is about trump or not trump, about supporting racists or not, about lying as a leader or not - and the reasons why. it is not bidens or anyone else fault that too many republicans betray their conservative values for a man like trump, proven to be not capable to be a serious president. it is sad but you can't blame anyone for this obvious fact - proven day by day with new facts.

you talk about other ones decision make process while you obviously never began seriously to undergo such a process at all. all your posts show a lack of any serious or proven content but a ton of meaningless twaddle while you even refuse to show any willingness to search for serious arguments that prove trump to be a capable leader. i tell you what: there are no serious arguments left - even for serious reps.

read, understand or at least show that you tried so with some more meaningful and intellectually more convincing answers. show some respect that someone tries to support you with proven content and links. and if you think you should question that show a least that you have read it before you answer (hopefully) with reasonable arguments instead of meaningless flaming.

Are you really that dense? It most certainly IS about 'left or right'. Whose policies do you want to see implemented? Do you want open borders? Defunded police departments? No 2nd amendment rights? Substantially curtailed first amendment rights? Do you want to thoroughly trash our economy in the vain hope that we *might* slow 'global warming' down by .2 degrees in 100 years?? Do you want to see EVERY product price increase? Do you want to give large piles of cash to folks that haven't earned it? Do you want the government to tell you who should be on your board of directors? Then by all means, vote democrat.

Now, myself, on the other hand, don't want ANY of those things, therefore I am NOT going to vote democrat.

And you don't even live in this country, so it doesn't affect YOU at ALL. So, why so all fired up about something happening in some other country?? Quite frankly, whom we elect simply isn't your concern, and your opinion is totally irrelevant. I really could not care less what some guy 5000 miles away thinks I should do. You don't have the first clue what things are actually like here. All you know is what you read in your severely left-leaning news, or what is fed to you by the propaganda machine. I would be more inclined to listen to what my DOG has to say about the matter. (and she just doesn't care.....) I LIVE HERE, I can see with my own two eyes what is happening in this country. I know what direction I would like to see us move in, and the direction the dems want to go, simply is NOT it.

Of course, you already don't have any 1st or 2nd amendment rights, since you don't live in the US, so I can see how that wouldn't matter to YOU. I however, DO live here, and value my constitutional rights. You want to make all your decisions based on emotions? Knock yourself out, but, don't expect any free-thinking individual to agree with you. (americans.)

And when was trump proven to be a 'not capable leader'? From my perspective, he is doing ok, at the very least. Given what all is going on here at the present time, what would YOU have him do? You whine about his immigration policies, yet when he restricts immigration due to a GLOBAL PANDEMIC, you whine some more. THEN you whine that he isn't "doing enough" to combat the pandemic? From my perspective, it simply would not matter WHAT he did, you would still find fault with him. So far as you are concerned, he simply can't do anything right, because there are something he does wrong. You disagree with his policies, therefore, he is evil, and even voting dem would be a better choice, even though they represent the exact opposite of where I would like to see this country go.

You wanna screw up your own country? Knock yourself out. But, stay the heck out of mine, thankyouverymuch.

you can support anyone you want but don't tell me in a trump debate who is screwing up here. trump is screwing up and probably you are screwing up on nov the 3rd. it is your responsibilty to make up your mind with clear arguments instead of empty words. if you vote a childish and selfish soap opera entertainer have fun and trample the prime major values with your feet!

the trump agenda does not stand for a serious rep agenda. he betrayed it, while more and more reps realize this problem they are not interested in a racist and soap opera driven agenda.

if you refuse to do the same, it only shows that you are the one who is screwing up while standing for no relevant values anymore. trump destroyed honesty, reliability, humanity while supporting instead racism, cheating, lying and turning politics into a soap opera within 4 years.

i cannot take people like you serious anymore, fighting for this agenda, free of any serious arguments! with your obvious lack of arguments in favour of trump you will not reach any serious voter or the majority standing for values and the responsibility to free america from a dangerous clown as a leader. the reps will come back but not with trump - only without.

read what raikold posted including the links as verification. as long as you refuse to do so you are just an ignorant child like trump. he shows the same kind of behaviour - the only difference is - he is still the president!

LOLOLOL. Now THAT is FUNNY.

Politicians have been doing the exact same thing for decades. Trump just gets more press about it. You do recall Ronald Reagan, don't you? Or perhaps you are too young for him. He was a friggin actor.

But, it really doesn't matter what I say.... you have already more than proven that you can't make a rational argument. You are all emotion and drama. I have flatly state my points about WHY I will vote for trump, numerous times, yet you STILL refuse to address those points. You simply ignore that part of the equation. So, for the last time, here it is.

I will NOT vote democrat, because I don't like their political platform, or their vision of the countrys future. End of Story. Full stop.

And on that note, I am going to leave this 'debate', as there is no point to it. You won't make a rational argument, and you aren't american, your opinion means nothing at all.

i recommend you just to read and understand instead of concentrating to take my words out of context. you will never understand as long as you ignore valuable information, science and education.

this debate is not about who you vote it is about trump. nobody forces you talk about who you vote. but if you do you should know at least why. all that you show is that you are unable talk seriously about important content leading to this decision and that you ignore basic major values. there is nothing more to explain about that and there is no drama at all for me. it is just sad and maybe a drama for your nation if people do not know anything about that or just ignore the importance and if trump somehow gets reelected and continues with his soap opera the only good thing if he really gets reelected is that he will continue to prove who he is. i don't need that prove and i guess most americans do not need this but apparently you.

if you still try to tell me that all u.s. presidents in the last decades acted and behaved like trump i ask you seriously: where have you been in the last decades ? on the north pole frozen in ice ? somebody wiped out your brain ? i don't know. in my opinion you are just ignorant or at least severely influenced by ignorant people. this is sad but it is no drama. in one point you are right. my opinion means nothing. thanks god the same applies to yours

to compare trump and his behavior with other presidents and to imply they acted on the same level or the same way is a discreditation and an insult against the other presidents.

the day by day trump corona soap opera is such a miserable handling of responsibility and unprecedented - while thousands of people die day by day - do you really need more to understand the severity of the problem with trump as president?

another good news: the proven falsehood spreader QANON accounts will be deleted from instagram and facebook. it is a shame how badly misguided and misinformed some people are from that and that people who should know it better misuse these platforms to misguide more simple minded people. but the real shame is that a president trump support such crap instead of distancing from such crude conspiracy.
