Archive Invalidation for FNV

From my NV .ini:

bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
bUseArchives=1
SArchiveList=Fallout - AI!.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa, Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Textures2.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa, Fallout - Voices1.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa

I set AI before installing any mods, so never had to do a secondary deploy.

yes, I noticed this as well. The alternate Patcher I linked in the first post, generates txt files inside the New Vegas folder, that need to be regenerated every time you change or add a texture mod. Otherwise some textures will not be applied.

That patcher you linked is breaking another one of my mods. DK Female Face texture works without redirection, but adding redirection makes it only give back purple faces.

Please verify that the "Vortex Archive Invalidation" mod is enabled.

Then double click it and in the side bar, verify that the "BSA Redirection" ini tweak is enabled.

If you changed anything, be sure to hit "deploy", then check if it works now.

BSA redirection is enabled, manually deployed, still no new textures. Meshes are still loading fine though.

Still can't get body textures to work, after trying everything above.

Try toggling Archiveinvalidation off and then on again, it's suggested here and New Vegas does need it toggled off and on again on occasion when new textures are installed. https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/FNV_General_Mod_Use_Advice#Body_Replacement_Basics

Already tried toggling archive invalidation off and on. I decided to try Vortex out. I've had New Vegas installed at various times using MO and NMM. I migrated the game from NMM, and everything worked at first. I uninstalled BOG to try different options, and when I reinstalled, the installer did not recognize the Vortex Archive Invalidation. It had recognized the Vortex Archive Invalidation the first time I installed. Tried downloading the mod file again, but still no luck.

Does your "Fallout.ini" in Fallout NV look like the following:

This is a screenshot of the [Archive] section in my "Fallout.in," using Vortex AI. It works for my game.

I also can not get Vortex AI to work with NMC's Texture Pack or Beware of Girl. It just does not work right. I did the manual change to the .INI file it looks exactly like Augusta Calidia's above and it does not work. I kind of wish they would have left it alone. This is not easy for anyone modding or coming back to this game. And with NMM it worked flawlessly.

I have redeployed AI when i do None of the new textures carry over. It looks like mess.

I am only running NMC BOG nothing else just to test it.

NMC textures are black grey or just completely missing. Game is unstable.

Anyone have a solution that works every time with AI on vortex? If not a solution to use besides Vortex?

Thanks very much,

-J
