Feature Request: Export 'Load Order' list

I'm sure this has been requested before, but the ability to export the list of active plugins for a particular playthrough/profile could be immensely helpful in saving time for less experienced modders in asking for help troubleshooting their mod list, rather than requiring them to manually record such things.

That said, I have no idea how feasible this is, or whether or not I may be misunderstanding things, so apologies if this is asking for magic.

That said, thus far Vortex seems relatively userfriendly even if there's some adjustment necessary from NMM.

Thanks for all the hard work!

This is a very sensible feature request. I'm thinking a button that opens an export/import dialog.

Export gathers all mods listed in Vortex and the current load dependency rules and sends them up to two export files. It could even have a feature to exclude disabled mods, but that isn't critical. The downloads would be separate from the state settings and export of downloads could be deselected.

Import would be used for a fresh load of Vortex or a reload of a previous export . Any purge or prep work needed would be automatic prior to import. If downloads were included they would not auto install if they had any fomod components unless the options in a mod could be read automatically. I don't know how or if auto-install is a standardized for fomod stuff, so that might not be worth pursuing if fomod scripting is not standardized.

So, import might be a two step process. 1. Import and install mods 2. Apply settings restore.

I'd also like to see an undo last action. I see it as very useful when I install a mod and then end up in cyclical hell.

I realize that the %APPDATA%\vortex folder is an manual option for import/reload. I'd lust like to see it automated in the main application.

Getting load order is fairly easy, but looking at pages of screenshots to see what a user might have installed is incredibly frustrating to deal with. There needs to be a way to simply export the mod list *and* the load order so we don't have to instruct users on how to navigate to their %appdata% folders for the plugins.txt

Please include such a feature soon to make authors lives easier.

Apologies to 'bump' an old thread but I figured it's much better to add support to an existing request than make one up on your own (at the very least it show you guys that I'm honestly trying to do my homework here before commenting).

+1 (hope that's allowed?).

I definitely support this request. Now, it's way too early for me to fantasize about this (I don't even know how much I want to get involved) but while I'm learning about Vortex I already noticed that it has an API and plugin support. Considering that we're only talking about an export from an ordered plugin list (sorted on 'Load Order') I can't help wonder how hard this would be (don't read between the lines please; I mean for a plugin, don't pull this quote out of context within the feature request).

Vortex is on GitHub, I'm a die hard Git user, we'll see what happens next.
