guttahtrash
Hi. I've been enjoying Vortex for other games and had virtually no problems once I learned how to use it. However, I re-installed Morrowind, went into Vortex and started to download mods, but then noticed the plugins tab is messed up. I don't have the toolbar, or the table headers or the icons. I tried re-downloading, but it didn't help. version 0.16.12 I think. New Vegas is fine. Fallout 4 is fine. It's only Morrowind's plugins tab that somehow isn't correct. I've included a pic of what the tab looks like. Any Ideas?

SirGoatson
Having the same issue here, makes it basically impossible to edit the loadorder since Vortex seems to reset it to its own settings when you change it manually
FlamingCheeseMonkey
Having the same issue here, makes it basically impossible to edit the loadorder since Vortex seems to reset it to its own settings when you change it manually That issue that you have makes it sounds like you're trying to use two different mod managers. Needless to say, don't. Unless if you teach yourself to follow a strict pattern in order to get it working properly, you're just going to get yourself confused (that or you 100% know what you're doing, or know enough about how the mod managers work to use both at the same time). There are multiple pages at https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Category:Vortex for you to read to change the load order within Vortex.
dizietemblesssma
I have installed MW on an old pc that never had a mod manager till I installed Vortex, and I have the exact same problem. I seem to be able to drop and drag the plugins but the UI that I had on my other pc (better but currently broken) for FO4 etc is not there. Tannin42
Morrowind isn't supported by LOOT so the plugin management is implemented completely separately.Since no auto-sorting is supported, MW plugins have to ordered manually, the page shown on your screenshot supports that. Unfortunately that screen was bugged up to and including 0.17.8, it should work in 0.17.9 (testing) though.

It's the earliest Mod "Sorter" that exists.

Would the results of sorting Morrowind outside of Vortex be reflected in the Vortex plugins tab? I've never actually played MW before so I have no previous knowledge of modding it. It "might" I've currently got my Morrowind set up with MLOX, and WryeMash, and I think I'm going to just back up the entire data directory, because there's so much to hunt down and research, especially with one of the bigger mods missing a few meshes and textures that gives you errors when you start the game etc.So I'm not going to mess with mine anymore. Had to experiment before finding that just copying the top level directory 'mlox' into the 'morrowind' directory and then running mlox.exe inside the mlox directory did the trick, keeps it nice and neat! Didn't bother with the python stuff, is there any advantage? And thanks for the tip  edit: Oh yes, the version of mlox on nexus is also out of date, link here for readershttps://github.com/mlox/mlox/releases/
