tomtheclone
Like most people, I have a ton of mods. Over 800 in fact. I don't want to install them all again, so I click "Import from NMM" like the sane person I'm not. However, nothing happens. So I wait, and still nothing happens. Some additional, and problably useful, information would be that I'm on Windows 7, using the latest version of Vortex, and have NMM installed in a non-standard location. Guest deleted34304850
stay with nmm until such time as you are ready and fully committed to transitioning to vortex otherwise you're going to be in a world of pain.
sopmac45
You have been advised by 1ae0bfb8 to stay with NMM. Do you want to start using Vortex ? - Study it first.- Use Vortex as a LAB - Find a RAT .... another game that you care much less about - Start experimenting with your rat in Vortex LAB till you learn it ( same principle that scientist use to test everything before giving the ok to be use on humans .... use your brain .... ) - Make the transition once you feel that you are ready Failing to do what you have been told NOT TO DO, will result in a lot of frustration and a world of pain. Do not blame Vortex if that happens. It all depends on your actions and Vortex is just a tool and this tool will work fine depending on the man behind the tool. Period. Are you running Vortex as an Administrator? If so, don't
BigBizkit
I would suspect that something is breaking the UI before you import. Have you tried: closing Vortexstarting Vortex againclicking the import button as the first thing you do With 800 mods a flawless import from NMM becomes fairly unlikely due to the way NMM handles mods files: https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Importing_from_Nexus_Mod_Manager:_Things_to_consider
