DO NOT put the Mod Staging folder inside the game folder!

You have been warned.

Apparently quite a lot of people who are having problems with Vortex are putting their Download and Mod Staging Folder in their actual Game Folder.
This is a recipe for disaster, and comes from not following the tutorials.

I'm not sure why people are getting the impression that the Mod Staging folder should go inside the game folder, you're not supposed to do that with any mod manager, not even NMM.

I'm sure this is attributing to mods disappearing, not showing up after being installed, mods from other games showing up in a different game etc.

Watch the tutorials

It doesn't bloody work properly unless some of us do this -_-

No, it's 100% wrong 100% of the time for 100% of the users.

If you believe you have to put Vortex into the game directory puleeeeaaaze accept that you are mistaken and ask questions to figure out where your misunderstanding comes from instead of just assuming that you know better than the people who developed the software in the first place and those who've been using it for years.

There's at least one video on youtube where the person has people put the vortex or mod folders INSIDE the game directory

I've mentioned it to the person who made the video, and I think either Bizkit or Picky contacted the Video maker as well.

The video is still up
