How solid is Vortex at this point?

In response to your original post, whose dubious clarity you sought to defend by attacking various respondents, the answer is - very solid.

No troll, that's not what happened. Some people too lazy to read the actual text replied to a title that is not intended to convey full information. It's remarkable that they didn't have enough time to actually read the post, yet they had enough time to type responses.

Wow, what did you call her a troll for?

I answered your questions, calling Augusta a troll was completely uncalled for, she's been nothing but helpful, but I see you're one to lash out whenever you don't get what you want to hear.

Is Vortex going to be able to handle an install with 500+ plugins (lots of mod merging)? How does it compare to NMM in performance? Is it robust?

Nobody knows, because it hasn't been done yet, so try it and let us know

How does it compare to NMM in performance?

NMM = Vespa

Vortex = Lamborghini

Is it robust?

As robust as a fine wine, or a great spaghetti sauce.

Are you sure nobody has used it for large installs with lots of merges? It's a difficult thing to be sure of. I have no idea how large the actual user Vortex base is, but there are quite a few people doing things with SLE/SSE that the Nexus community would find surprising. They just don't come here any more because it's generally not useful to them.

Seriously? So you thought the whole " whose dubious clarity you sought to defend by attacking various respondents" was just a normal thing for a supposedly neutral, helpful person to say? It was totally unnecessary, as was your little, petty dig about "lashing out". How is your response not "lashing out"?

Figure out Vortex for yourself.

All you want to do is argue with and attack anybody who tries and helps you.

Boo hoo. I don't need help "figuring out" Vortex. I was trying to find out how robust it was. If people on the Nexus actually knew how to read, there wouldn't be so much unnecessary drama.

ou

you're operating from a position of assumed knowledge, and arrogance, which has made you look increasingly stupid with each increasingly hostile post you have made.

i did read your post - this is intimated in my response to you when i said it was answered elsewhere. i didn't respond to it as it had been responded to, but i wanted to point out that there's no way anyone can answer your question because we dont have access to your sysem, nor are we mind readers.

ti should have realised this and pointed this out to you, but i'm glad i didn't because it simply confirms my opening post about vortex being solid but it has some flaky users.

put yourself in that user category.

now, instead of openly trolling everyone who has attempted to assist you, have you actually done what you said you were going to do? i'm going to say no.

so, stop trolling this forum, stop embarasing yourself and get on with doing it and tell us how you go on.

if you get an issue be sure to come back here and ask for help in your uniquely impolite way and we'll see what transpires.
