Zanderat
Specifically for VTMBL. I am testing to see if Vortex will be a viable modding tool for it. The way the game works is that you have different directories for differing versions of the game. For example, the UP installs to and runs from a folder called "Unofficial Patch", whereas the base game (no UP) runs from a directory call "Vampire". I want to direct my mods to the "Unofficial Patch" folder. Thanks.
HadToRegister
Is that game even supported by Vortex?I don't see it in my list DERP that's because it's on my DISCOVERED tab. (I've had this game installed on my comp for the past decade) I'm playing through as every clan. Malkavain was the funniest playthrough I would say GOOD CATCH, and to report that to the github or wherever the Extensions are reported, because there should be something built in that detects the UP folder so that Vortex can place the Mods in the proper place(FWIW, VTMBL does say "Beta" on the game profile)
Zanderat
I'll report it. And yes beta. But I was hoping for feature in settings that was already there to specify which game directory.
Zanderat
Tannin responded: When you double click a mod you can change the "Mod Type". Set it to "vtmb-up-modtype" and it the mod should get deployed to the Unofficial Path folder.https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Vortex/issues/5131
Zanderat
FYI, per Tannin, the mod needs to be installed first before the "Mod Type" option becomes available.
