nubblet
I literally just started getting back into modding a few days ago, so Vortex was new to me, but even only having used it for the past couple of days i have to say its a huge step up from what i remember last time i dove into this (a number of years ago) so far i have had no issues with it, and modding seems to be significantly less troublesome than it used to be
mrfuzzyball
I just started modding using a mod guide, and was recommended MO2, which I used. I got recommended this by a friend, and once I saw that this was being released in the full version, so I installed it. SO MUCH EASIER.
skepticck
I don't get the "our way or the highway" attitude for not including real "drag and drop", having options is good, choice is always a good thing, how hard would it have been to implement the option for those who wanted it, you could just have disabled it by default. That said it's your site, your software and while a more "flexible" attitude wouldn't have killed anyone, it's your decision and i respect that. As long as i can use the mod manager that works best for me, i'm happy. Edited July 31, 2019 by skepticck

However, as we are trying to move away from the established drag and drop approach, we think that providing the option has the potential to divide the Vortex community into what would essentially be "Team Drag and Drop" and "Team LOOT+rules". This would create various issues. For instance, whenever someone then asks for support, we would have to establish first whether they are relying on autosort (+custom rules) or whether they are manually ordering their entire plugin list.As the news post says, however, Vortex is open source and if someone wants to create an extension enabling drag and drop, we won't stop them.
