Ban for Fun

I ban you because the people I knew from my generation never ever heard any U2 songs unless they had teen children in the year U2 appeared.  I only heard of them because I was taking courses to become a radio and television announcer.  Knowing all the bands old and new was part of a Disk Jockeys job.  My generation was from 1966 to 1978.  Do you remember when the band U2 recorded their first song and the year their first song aired?  If you don't know it is no fair using a search engine surfing for it; that's cheating.
