People banned for speaking out for China and HK police

A lot of people do not understand the Hong Kong crisis.

1. This is not a peaceful protests, I dun know whether I can post YT video links to the Nexus website.

2. This is a violent riot aimed at political color revolution to overthrow the "One country two systems".

3. If you dun believe me, you should go and visit HK.

4. Taxi drivers, bus drivers and old people are beaten up.

5. Massive vandalism and destruction of HK infrastructure (including MTR system, traffic lights and historical monuments).

6. If you dun know the issues, please dun blindly support the "Free HK" movement, go and visit HK yourself, interview at least 10 people.

7. If your country has democracy, and you love it, that is your business, please do not spread your "political system" to other country. I am Singaporean, I always hear people say our country is a dictatorship while we can go to elections. China has 1400 million people, they need to give them jobs, food, water and stability. Understand? It is not a simple job. Probably it is BEST IF PEOPLE MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS.

8. Most Hong Kongers DUN support the "Free HK" movement (yes, I repeat myself again, GO AND VISIT HK, because anything I say = lies, your eyes cannot lie to you).

9. Many Hong Kongers who claim they have no freedom has freedom to use internet, they can vote, they can throw molotov cocktails at police, they can protest anywhere including HK airport.

10. Many of us are frustrated, if you check many videos, MANY PARTS are edited out to show "police violence", have you seen 20 or more people beating up a riot police (can this happen in USA or Germany?)

If you do research, or travel to HK and see, you will understand.

If your country is competing with China, and your news networks purposely slander China and HK, then I have nothing to say.

If people says they have no freedom, they have the right to migrate, not breakup a country because they just dun like it.

I want to say as a Singaporean Chinese, I saw the China government doing miracles and lifted 800 million Chinese out of poverty.

China is a mortal enemy of the entire world. If people put their greed aside they would see that fact.

China did indeed raise millions out of poverty..and they have also killed millions and poisoned millions and lowered the quality of life for millions.

The above comments are about the Chinese government and communist element, not the people.

Since China is governed by a marxist-leninist party and since the concentration of powers is a part of that ideology like of the right-wing culture China is a dictatorship and the Hong-Kongese defend their freedom and rights against the enemies of people who lead China.

I wish them good luck and hope the government won't massacre them like in Tian An Men in 1989.

Its amazing how quickly people will sell out their ideals when it comes to China (really its the money). Blizzard recently suspended a player in one of their tournaments for speaking out in support of the Hong Kong protestors and the NBA and players berated the Houston Rockets owner for speaking out. These are the same types of people who give support for all the liberal causes (BLM , Climate Change , whatever) , yet when it comes to their bottom dollar its a different story.

The real issue here is that these type of people who join all these causes in a Western Democracy can do pretty much anything they want and face no consequences , but when it comes to China , the Chinese Communist Party will make certain you face consequences. Makes you wonder if we are just a little too lenient in our society.

I do enjoy my first amendment rights....... wouldn't like to see them curtailed. Gotta take the bad with the good, right?

And yeah, the left has been working on infringing on those rights of late. Makes me NOT wanna vote for any of them.

I have family living in Hong Kong. They have a genuine fear for their safety. They are Taiwanese, so... double whammy

I dun know whether I can post

If you dun believe me

Ironically, one of this person's alternative accounts was banned for "grammar correcting".

Oh, you mean like China is doing? Don't be like China.

Glad to see this troll was banned. But why wasn't the thread closed?

There is realistically no way that freedom of speech can just continue to grow un fettered.

It would lead to the break down of communication. Ergo the transfer of information ( the main purpose of communication ) does and will suffer exponentially by no rules in the transfer of information. So eventually to preserve the main purpose ... freedom of speech will be curtailed.

For starters will be those who profit from abusing freedom of speech. You can guess who that will be / commercialism & milking the consumer cash cow.

Which is the outcome from capitalism attempting to groom their cash crop.

And it was probably just zealous naivety by advertisers 50+ years ago.

But what is it now ???

Now it is trying to make it a felony to call someone an "illegal alien". A term which has been in use for over a century. An accurate description at that. But, seems it offends some on the left, so, they want to make it criminal.

Same for speaking out against the cult of global warming. They wanted to make that a crime as well.

These are not something I considered "good for society".

And sure, freedom of speech is NOT absolute. No yelling "fire" in a crowded room. etc. But, attempting to curb folks from disseminating information simply because you don't like the message? That is one of the primary reasons we HAVE the first amendment. So yeah, I get a bit bent out of shape when our own politicians start talking about regulating it.

LoL hadn't heard about that yet ... I guess we will see how it goes down if and when a first case of it is brought.

But to state the obvious ... this never would have come up , if employers were facing fines of $250,000 for hiring illegals.

But the truth is ... the US is addicted to its slave labor pool. Which requires having a class termed as illegal.

And it is just natural that the slaves will eventually revolt ... which is all this really is.
