ShockenOrr
Any help would be gratefully received. I have a new machine: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-core - 16gb ram (win 10) - 6GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2060 I am using Vortex 1.0.5.0 andf trying to run Fallout 4 I have 142 Mods installed The problem I have is that every 60 seconds or so the game freezes for about 5 seconds, well the screen does but the sounds and music continue to play. I have attached my last diagnostic file if thsat helps as well as my load order and plugins I have already read and tried a bunch of stuff from reducing quality through settings, turning off reflections to installing mods that reduce 'stuff' in the game. But why is the game so bad when i have a new machine? surely its not the demand on my graphics card?? My mods are here: - C:\Nexusmods Thank you in advance
HadToRegister
You're better off asking in the Fallout 4 forum, this is the Vortex support forum, and this problem isn't a Vortex problem You probably have a lot of mods that are using Scripts, that keep making the game "chug" every once in a while. I usually get that if I uninstall or install a mod mid-game, caused by orphan scripts.

Pickysaurus
Can you confirm that the freeze happens if you close Vortex after launching the game? If so it's definitely not caused by Vortex.
