vortex takes long time to deploy mods

Hello, I have just installed Vortex to apply mods for my games on laptop, which are Re2R and Monster Hunter. I wanted to apply some nude mods for RE2R, but Vortex took like 4hrs and still made no progress, and it has been like that for 2 days. Is there anything I can do to alleviate this?

My laptop is a Inspiron 7566, I have put mods and game on the same drive, and even have a blank folder on staging, not on my drive C which is an SSD.

Is your mod staging folder on the same drive as your game?

How much space do you have on your drive?

Let me try for some more information.

1) How many mods do you have installed for RE2R (since this is the game you have trouble with)

2) How many new mods did you download

3) Did you successfully download them? Manual or using Vortex?

4) Did you Install them

5) Did you Enable them

6) Did you Deploy them

Answer those and we will have a better idea of what is failing for you.

Hi guys, sorry for the late reply, I wonder if we have a notification function which allows me to know when you guys replied? :D

The mod staging folder is on the same drive as my game, and I still have like 400 GB left

Hello, thanks for the reply

1) I have Claire wounded, stunning Claire, Ada and Claire together

2) Those are the only mods I have downloaded

3) I successfully downloaded em through Vortex

4) I installed em

5) I enabled em

6) The deployment took too long that I always have to turn off Vortex when I need to go out for work

The first two mods you list are about 10MB each. Ada and Claire together is maybe 20 MB.

This would take Vortex under a minute tops to copy files over.

It appears RE2 mods are actually installed by Fluffy Manager 5000. There are some debugging steps listed here:

Unfortunately I do not have RE2, so I can't help more than that.

And I had no idea Nexusmods hosted mods like that... Definitely PG.
