AugustaCalidia
In my task manager I show 3 Vortex using about 340 MB of memory. This does not mean that I have 3 installations of Vortex running. It means that I have Vortex running along with a couple of Vortex sub-processes. For purpose of comparison, right now in my Task Manager I see 8 Firefox. That doesn't mean I have 8 Firefox installations running simultaneously.
Pickysaurus
If Vortex appears to be using more memory than it should be, try closing it and opening it again. Tannin found a memory leak caused by components Vortex uses to run which has been fixed for the next update (1.1.9+).
