Nude virus spreads to Fallout 3

first of OP, you started off with a good point, but then you made a generalization about the entire populous of modders preferences based on an opinion, which A. lost the crowd, and B. ruined your credibility. you are allowed to hold your opinions as is everybody, but stating that as such just condemned your point.

 

however

 

you main point i can relate to, it did seem like a slew of "over stylized" mods, which had artistic merit, and for the most part could have been seen as related to the setting, as it was pure fantasy, i felt that most did not add anything tangible to the game. thats my opinion and i didnt download because it was my choice and yadda yadda, but the point being that its a different setting here in the world of fallout, and most "over stylized" bits that may have found a place in oblivion, would (in my eyes at least) ruin/break the games setting. i think this is the point that was trying to be made, as well as a request not to let Fo3's fate be as such.

 

of course that statement can not change the will of people as much as making a debate thread condemning certain practices, so i will keep with the "dont like, dont download" policy

First of all, I'm sorry if I enrage any person on these forums by the mere title of this topic. But it's something I just feel like saying.

Take a look at Oblivion:

 

It is the perfect home for the hormon filled teenager, who downloads 40GB's of porn a day and enjoys %&$!ing off to video game characters. While I agree that some nudity fits in a game, especially Fallout, there is just too much of that in Oblivion. More than 60% of all mods are -nude- mods, or -sexy superskimpy clothing- mods. It's just too much. The ocean of "sexy" mods for Oblivion is swelling and still growing, and has already flooded the continent.

 

I despise it. Why so unbelievable many mods for female outfits/bodys and whatnot? Is TESNexus infested by teenage boys who have never seen a real women before? It seems so. But please, don't let that happen to Fallout 3. It deserves better.

 

Fallout 3, may the force be with you, you will need it. Let the horny teens move on to another game, and skip this one. Don't let the Fallout Nexus be ruined by the same horny little kids that ruined TESNexus.

Yeah...not gonna happen. It's a FPS game in a mature setting that's easily moddable. There will be breasts. It's just something you have to deal with.

While there are many female gamers out there, lets face it, the guys have them out numbered. Plus its the younger males (high school to college) who have the most free time to devote to modding. If you work, you don't have so much free time and that which you have you might not be willing to waste on a "better looking boobies" mod.

 

On a plus side look at it like this. If you're going to spend 60 hours looking at someone's butt as they run around the virtual world, you might as well enjoy what you see.

IN a game set in a post apocalyptic world where humanity has almost completely wiped itself out with nuclear weapons wipeing 6billion+ people off the face of the planet, a game where people are hunted and killed for meat which is then sold and you can eat.

In a game where Raiders capture people and cut them up and hang there bodies on hooks and bash there own with baseball bats.. just cause its fun.

Where you can cheat steal and Shoot Stab Belt Burn Dicintergrate atomize and maim almost anyone you damn well please.

 

Your stating a few titties and a hairy bush or 2 is going to bring about the end of Civilization and take Fallout 3 somewhere so dark that not even god can save it?

 

I have only ONE QUESTION.

Did you get droped on your head as a baby?

Wing-Commander 3 had a porn Star as one of the female cast, one Blair could have a love intrest with.

So what I think happend is THIS.

YOU got infected with the NUDE virus from WC, however you dont show any symptoms instead your a carrier, once you started playing oblivion you infected it and its entire community, now your here... Fallout3 is doomed already heard from a trader underpants and bras are disappearing throughout the wasteland.

If you would have read trough the thread, you would have noticed I was ranting about the sheer -amount- of sexyskimpyclothing on TESNexus. If you would have kept reading, you would also have realized that I'm not against nude parts/scenes or even sex in games. It was all about the in my opinion far too many and too fantastic clothes in Oblivion, and my wish that the same won't happen to Fallout 3.

 

Now, in a world described by you, would a colorful and superskimpy piece of female 'anime' or 'manga' style clothing fit?

So next time you flame something just because you disagree with him/her, you should read at least trough the entire thread before doing so. I was wrong with blaming people in my starter post of this thread, but my point, or in other words, my opinion still stands. Just without the blaming.

 

On a sidenote:

I don't think you get infected by any kind of virus by playing a game where a porn star plays a character in the movie scenes made for the game. Especially if there is no sign of any nude scenes in the whole 'movie'.

That's a not really friendly generalization of porn stars, which are only humans in the end.

Rachel was a good and well played character in the game. Her being a pornstar (in the past) doesn't change that.

And if you met Buttercup, you would have noticed she doesn't have any make-up on, as well as holly. They didn't even make her especially pale. ;)

I disagree about Holly. She looks to have dark eye makeup. As for Bittercup, this is a case where the visual representation falls short of the dialogue, so I agree it will have to be fixed by giving her the makeup she's supposed to have.

Because the body is not a moral shame. Social conventions, prejudices and repression are the true responsible for the biggest errors mankind and individuals ever committed through history.

 

Before labeling people one should look at his/her own soul, seeking the "Why", "How", "When" and "Where" the "Evil" was implanted into it.
