Looking to clean up my settlements

Ive been looking around for a mod to help clean the trash and stuff from my settlements, ive currently got Scrap Everything but it is very powerful and deletes far more than i would want to.

Is there anything else that people recomend, or at least has some kind of safety system in it.

Or should i just use Scrap Everything and quick save before i start sweeping? Is it a recomended mod for this kind of thing?

Thanks a lot :-)

I use Scrap Everything and in the beginning I scrapped many things I didn't want scrapped. So yes make a save and scrap away and if you scrap the wrong thing start over. Anymore I just slow down and make double sure what I'm scrapping by the highlight and the name of the item. Still though had enough times when I had to revert to an earlier save. jenncave's clean & simple mods do help allot too, I have 2 of them and they are really nice and save allot of time.

You can use 3 or 4 scrap mods, and start scrap step by step

if you use scrap mods and a expanded borders mod, try to scrap things only with the vanilla borders, because outside of vanilla borders, the game need everything to run stable.

if you don't want to use scrap mods, but want to use a build high mod, just put some stairs and build up high.

Yes, some of the clean and simple mods, look very nice, but to spend 10 or 20 or more esp, just to clean settlements, well, at my opinion, i don't agree. i prefer to use 2 or 3 scrap mods, and spend the other 7 or 20 esp files, to add new settlements, new quests and new companion. This is my opinion. Also i prefer to use the console ~ to disable objects, build more things at the workshop, clear the weather and do many more, without using any mods. That's all. Thanks.

I've used some of the clean and simple mods on some of my earlier builds. They're very well done.

Naioxi, I completely agree with you about what you're saying about taking up too many slots in the load order for mods that just add in settlements with the junk already removed.

The one that was posted in the link, has all the clean and simple mods packed up together, so as to take up much less space in the load order ;)

I think that perhaps that did not translate correctly.

I actually do wish that more modders who make those kinds of mods would do an AIO (All in one) file that would save a lot more space in the load orders.

I do also agree. Scrapping can be downright tedious. Settlements like Sanctuary, which have junk just ALL OVER THE PLACE, especially. I'd rather be spending that hour or so out killing stuff, not picking up 200 years worth of garbage.

I hate scrap everything. You accidentally delete a building or the ground, etc (aka things that should NEVER be deleted), you have to go back to a previous save to fix.

I used a few scrapping programs, I like this one:

Other mods try to clean up the settlements:
