PrimeElder Owen Lyons soon learned, after waking, that his children had all experienced the same dreamscaping moment with the CelestiFateMan. This included those who had not been directly involved in what had been happening in the OldPentagon. Yet others, as Steelhooders of the Steelhoods, done so. A link was being formed between the SteelOrderhood, in WashingtonDC, and the SteelFollowhood in the LostHills but also others.

Information was in the minds of many but it was not complete but it was a gift from the CelestiFateMan of the CelestiFateFolk. It was compiled with previously known data to make for a more complete picture of what was going on with Steelhooders.

In the Midwest, of the US Mainland, was the SteelUnion that had become so mingled with local people there that it was almost totally different from the SteelBrotherhood that it had once been part of.

In NewMexico was a version of the SteelBrotherhood very much like the heavily orthodox original one. They had obtained exotic technologies from the infamous Area51 UFO related secret base. The data did not say if they had gained the use of flying saucers.

The dreaded SteelEmpire had arisen on the deep south of the western coast of the US Mainland. They were the ones providing WW2 American type warmachines, and weapons, to Caesar Primeatus' Empire that was often known more simply as the Primeatus Empire. They were not providing a huge amount of such equipment or the supplies that went with them.

There was the strange hybrid of the SteelEnclaven based in its deeply buried SteelEnclave somewhere in what had been Western Canada.

There were also the SteelSisterhood as dominated by women, the SteelMutanthood of supermutants, and others hinted at that had links to the Steelhoods though many did not use the term 'steel' in their names.

Shyla's people, Stella's people and Banjosal traveled carefully through the House of Giants where plastic army figures fought each other over territories. There were the Greens, the Yellows, the Blues, the Blacks, the Purples, Tans and the Reds along with the ever lurking Mottled. With only a general idea of what was going on the expedition soon met those plastics of civilian types, of animals, of plants and some exotic types.

They moved carefully over the great big tile plain of the giant kitchen in their funvehicles and newly acquired three neutral Brown plastic battletanks and support from 27 power armoured plastic soldiers. Like much else the Colour Faction Armies seemed to be based on the American Army of the early 1970s complete with assault rifles, Huey helicopters, jet fighter-bombers and APCs (armoured personnel carriers) and other such tech. Vehicles were entities in their own right and not driven by crews.

Each Colour Faction had its own unique tech. The Greens had missile launchers, the Tans had rocket launchers, the Yellows had lasers, the Blues had amphibious vehicles, the Blacks had stealth gear, the Purples had plasma weapons, the Reds had flamethrowers and the Grays had strength amplifying exomechas. The Mottles had large numbers of the general stuff, including soldiers, along with an occasional nasty surprise. As for the newly created Browns, they had power armour of different kinds.

The Prideorditers had a large amount of experience dealing with territories controlled by different factions but this was all new for none had dealt with being relatively tiny in a giant domestic setting. As they moved, they gathered up plastic Yellow civilians, White carers, and Orange specialists, to take them to a safer zone being one of the giant bedrooms on that level. It appeared that only the Mottles threatened them by enslaving them by forcing 'colour coding change' upon them to different patterns of mottling.

The Plastic Colour Factions, the PCFs, were after resources in the kitchen that they themselves could not use directly. So why were they fighting over giant cans of baked beans, bottles of milk, and much the same? To buy off those they had come to revere as 'great big beloved givers of gifts and services'.

In the distance a Greens Taskforce was busy building a small, likely temporary, base with amazing speed as the structures arose out of odd, bulky, tracked machines. First a small HQ, then a barracks, then a factory followed by gun-turret towers, resources materialising buildings, repair towers, radar towers and a few other standard constructs. The Greens had unique, to them, missile launchers of building defence, towers, vehicles and soldiers.

They made no attempt to attack the convoy for they desired only to combat the Mottles or so the Yellows, and Oranges, informed the newcomers. Some unknown other force, not a Plastic Colour Faction, was boosting their numbers in standard gear and giving them 'very nasty surprises' to pass onto the enemies of the Tans.

Banjosal explained matters. "Apart from the ever aggressive Mottles, the other PCFs are now allied together to fight not just the Mottles but other forces as linked to a great darkness that they call the BlackgloGodling though they do not know what that actually means. It is an entity that is trapped in the ShadowPentagon from which it is trying to escape because it fears something there that is even more dangerous than itself."

2way radio communications started with the Green's outpost base and so it was that the convoy changed directions and went there. For a great force, of Mottles, had blocked off the doorway of the Sanctuary Bedroom. The Sanctuary Bedroom was heavily protected by the normal PCFs but also by some rather exotic newcomers.

Green soldiers were busy opening up a 'big' can of cat food to feed a ginger tabby with. In exchange, for food, the feline carried around soldiers and supplies. Ginger also liked to be groomed and otherwise fussed over by the Plastics. She did not fight, unless she had to, for the PCF weapons were dangerous to her as a lifeform.

How had the information, from the CelestiFateMan during the dreamscaping, helped? It came down to the spread of the Steelhooders and with them the influence of the Svirus. It was increasingly likely that the Svirus had originated not on the west coast, of the old USA, but on the east coast somewhere. It was quite probable that it was in DC that it had been research developed in the first place and that it had a strong link with the criminal 13Genius13. Still mostly there was conjecture and more information had to be gained. Threats had to be dealt with. Areas had to be explored or even reexplored.

Inside the BetweenPentagon the big meeting had become a thinktank continuing to work in a wide range of ways. It had a series of research programs going being focused on different areas through smaller R&D projects. That the BetweenPentagon had become far more secure, and stable, helped a good deal.

Battles began to rage out in the DC away from the actual WashingtonDC Domelands and out in the WastelandsDC. Mutamutants, being mostly supermutants, were fighting TriInstitute created soldier syndroids and other synthetic entities such as synscorpions firing plasma bolts from their 'stinger' tails, low flying synwasps and big hulking, vaguely supermutant like, synhulks.

Some exterior force appeared to be stirring up conflict not just in DC but in areas across the world or so the CelestiFateMan had stated amongst the information that he had given.

'Ironsiders' have become Steelsiders and the 'IronsideOrder' had become the SteelsiderOrder.

Please reread [48]47+1=48, at Post #62, as it had inconsistencies about the Colour Code Factions of the Plastic Soldiers.

LyonsPriders kept exploring the SSNS and found another subsafevault focused on studies of the Svirus. The theories found there were by one Professor Sandy Sanderson who had been considered as rather a joke by her associates; yet she got results when others did not which made her even more unpopular. She did not seem to care and her personality was coldly dismissive of the great majority.

Rosana came and examined the data on the professor, sitting at a small table with a tabletop computer. She spoke to Sarah. "Sandy Sanderson was most likely a version of the TimeRani, perhaps being the original one before she splintered on Doomsday. Time travel makes it difficult to tell for sure. She deduced that the Svirus is more than just a virus and that it did more than give people special abilities. No, the changes met that the Steelhooders were heavily, but subtly, influenced to continue to build up before sending out expeditionary groups across North America. The reason, I suspect, was to unwittingly to spread the Svirus to other North Americans. Except the spreading out, of Steelhooders, may have also been the seeking of tech and other secrets but not just for the Steelhooders to use. I fear that the Steelhooders have been unknowingly passing on these secrets to others being probably the 13Genius13. That has all come to a halt now, thanks to the purity light events, at least with the SteelFollowhood and SteelOrderhood."

Sarah nodded. "The 13Genius13 could well have been after something hidden in the HavenTARDIS that was created during a purity light incident by that which is hiding but whom is it really hiding from and why? It appears to be very powerful."

Rosana frowned softly. "Romana, my twin sister, was informed that it is an entity called a Celestial Child Goddess. I am not sure that is the truth for it would seem to be an impossibility."

Sarah scowled. "It is a hard pill to swallow knowing that my people have been manipulated, used, for over 200 years. I think dealing a heavy blow to their plans would be well earned by them. Helping to protect this celestial entity, if that is what she really is, could lead to the discovery of important data and to tracking down the culprits but, more importantly, to help the celestial one for her own sake."

Rosana nodded, as if to herself. "I suggest that we see what else the SSNS has to offer in the way of information."

A purity light shimmering went through the PCFs unlike the flashes of before as if a powerful entity was as much investigating as seeking to change matters. The new alliance was strengthened, as were those in it, as the Plastique Alliance, and tech was advanced. Plastique was an old term for plastic explosives being used to indicate the 'explosive strength of the new alliance against its deadly enemies'. Different PCFs quickly came to share 'unique' technologies.

There came to the Plastics more individuality in shapeform and personality so that they began calling themselves plastimans.

When the Mottles attacked, they first came as delta winged jet fighter-bombers but 'friendly' ones rose to meet, and greet, them with autocannons and missiles. The air battle was brief before the enemy withdrew away having suffered much damage.

Came next helicopters being mostly Hueys holding troops even as they fired rockets and heavy machineguns. Some were not troopships but gunships with powerful side weapons instead of troops. The Mottles had one of their nasty surprises being some much bigger Monstercopters, The air battle soon exploded into action as different coloured Hueys fought each other in the great kitchen atmosphere.

The Greens were able to use some SAMs (Surface to Air Missiles) to wipe out enemy flying machines but the Monstercopters appeared to be surrounded by energy bubbles making them much harder to damage. Then a plasma beam struck one, going straight through the force field, and the huge copter was burned away.

Banjosal gained information, through her means, that had her concerned. She spoke to Shyla, and Stella, whose fighters had not had opportunity to join the battle yet. "The Svirus is in the Mottles and my guess is that they are the result of an experiment, that they are all former members of other PCFs, and that the enslaving changes are made by injecting captives with the Svirus. I would say that the plastimans are immune to catching the Svirus in any way that organics would."

Shyla frowned through her power armour visor. "Perhaps the 'enslaving changes' need more than the Svirus to be successful but utilise some kind of catalyst to help the process be successful."

Stella also frowned just the same way as her sister. "Toyland gets more 'real' with every passing moment so what if this is a R&D program to create an army to be active outside of this realm."

The attacking continued with Mottles battletanks, battlecarriers and other tracked warmachines coming along with swarms of running infantry. With them came some monstertanks of very large battletanks and giant infantry soldiers being twice bigger than the regular sort.

Soon the Pridescouts, and Priderangers, were busy helping to fight off the attack as was Banjosal with her super powerful, exotic, devices. Too many plastimans would perish only to be replaced by new ones coming out of barracks be they stationary or mobile, the latter belonging to the Mottles.

Steelsiders battled a large mutamutant army in the WashingtonDC area going north-west-west along the western shoreline of the Potomac River. The army was not that of SuperMarshal Smashbang being much bigger but also far less disciplined, standardised in what was generally very basic gear including weapons and poorly commanded. Supermutants charged crazily and Steelsiders smashed them down. Zymutants, who were supposed to be stupid, were not so keen in committing what was suicide.

As mobile artillery hammered the different sizes of hulking supermutants, as low flying machines strafed them, as mecha mauled them with bursts of 20mm shells, as laserguns were used along with many other weapons, the enemy began to slowly-steadily push the Steelorditors back.

Steelsiders took up occupation of fortified positions prepared by Steelsappers and other Steelorditers who were not Steelsiders. Locals came forth to volunteer to fight against the dreaded, savage, supermutants who they reported were acting even more berserk than normal for those mutamutants from Techvault083 buried deep inside Lamplight Mountain. Local radhumans were tough survivors, fighters, and knew well the weaknesses of the supermutants but admitted that somehow they had somehow become tougher, harder to kill, and quicker to self heal.

Just what was happening and had happened, especially with those supermutants?

From the SteelOrderhood, in WashingtonDC, to the LostHills based SteelFollowhood, went sensitive information about how the Steelhooders had most probably been exploited from before the SteelBrotherhood existed. Though it had ceased, thanks to the purity white energies, it was still a hard pill to swallow especially because of the great pride of the Steelhooders in their accomplishments. That included their wise, and clever, decisions made that now seemed to be not so straight forwardly made on second examination. No, there were far too many discrepancies being found including gaps in records.

The Steelhooders had never been fully enslaved, in a mindless manner, and it soon proved that not all efforts to manipulate them had been fully successful, if at all. Yet secret experiments, cloning programs, questioning had taken place with individuals along with other hidden incidents now returning to those still alive to remember them.

PrimeElder Owen Lyons shook his head in wonder. "Sarah was born as a monotuplet (single birth child) but then five clone babies were brought to be with her in such a way that they were assumed to be sextuplets by the SteelBrotherhood. It appeared that others went through the same process becoming twins, triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets, sextuplets or even more though far from all multiple births were actually fake ones to do with clones."

He looked around the others at the meeting of Steelhooder VIPs. Romana had piloted a newly operational DemiTARDIS to travel to the LostHills and back, picking up the SteelFollowhood people. "The only way that this difficult, tricky, long term deception could have been carried out is with insider assistance; I am talking about both traitors and infiltrators working together."

Owen sighed. "The extensive search has already begun for them and will not cease until all of them are dealt with and loose ends are tied up. At this moment I can not share any details, of the investigation, with you but more for practical reasons than for security ones. Another meeting will be held tomorrow. Are there any questions?"

If anybody there had questions, and they most likely did, they did not air them. That would come at the next meeting after all the others there had a chance to do some work of their own except that Owen suspected that at least a couple of them were secret enemies of the Steelhoods.

In a formerly unstable, more isolated, area of the BetweenPentagon was found an amazing chamber of seemingly impossible wonders. Strange, glowing, mechanisms were crazy mixtures of 3Dshapes of rods, spheres, cubes, pyramids, cylinders and hollow globes with interesting contents. Figures of endlessly flying dragons glided through the air along with big eagles, pterodactyls, and butterflies. Dolphins, whales, giant squids and mermaids swam in crystal clear waters. There were scattered trees, and bushes, with amazing leaves and fruits that grew on a wondrous grassy area.

Banjoson, first time appeared in DC, studied the great display thoughtfully. Only he had discovered what was there and he was on of the few, on that world, who would understand just how wonderfully dangerous were those amazing mechanisms, the supposed lifeforms actually being not so obvious mechanisms. He communicated with the rest of the Banjoband and they passed the information onto a select few.

After that he was busy sealing off, and hiding, that chamber.
