'Lock to Index' for Diversity - A Character Overhaul

Recommended Posts

TL:DR The 'Lock to Index' feature won't let you type in a number higher than 99. I have 500 mods and 1 of those mods needs to be at the end of the load order but I can't type in the number 500 because it only lets you type in a max of 99. Help?

When I first began modding I had about 60 mods. I kept getting blackface and it was caused by Diversity - A Character Overhaul. The Diversity modpage instructed users to put Diversity at the end of the load order to prevent the blackface bug. But, Vortex would auto-sort and put Diversity somewhere in the middle of the load order.

I solved this problem by using the 'Lock to Index' feature. I simply typed in the number and Diversity was at the end of the load order eversince.

Flashforward and now I have 500 mods and a amazing bug free gaming experience. Diversity was still at the end of the load order and everything was working fine. Infact, I never touched the Lock-to-Index feature ever since I first manually assigned a number to Diversity. As I added to my mod collection, Vortex simply kept Diversity at the end of the load order without me having to increase the manully set index number to 61, 62, 63,... 500. For example; at the beginning I had about 60 mods so I locked the index to 60 for Diversity. As I kept adding to the collection the total mods increased to 100, then 200, then 300, etc. Even though I originally set the index to 60, I now have 500 and Vortex had kept Diversity at the end without me changing the number 60. I hope this all makes since.

I recently did a total reinstall of the game and all mods. Here is where the problem begins. Now that I have 500 mods I can't place Diversity at the end of the load order because the 'Lock to Index' feature only lets you set the load order number to a max of 99.

Help?

can you move the mod that must be down the bottom in a group that loads absolute dead last?

Help?

Unlock the mod from the index, and assign the plugin to the DYNAMIC PATCHES GROUP, that should do the same thing in a much easier and less dangerous way
