Need wider game dashlets

I run a living room console setup. In this configuration, the Vector dashboard is very cramped. As a result, the game dashlets are too narrow to be readily usable. See attached screen shot.

Can we please have an option to make them full width.

SETTINGS--------->INTERFACE----------> turn off TODO LIST, NEXUS MODS ACCOUNT BANNER, ANNOUNCEMENTS, NEWS, LATEST MODS, CHANGELOG, ISSUES.

No matter what Program or app you use, ALWAYS......ALWAYS, check the SETTINGS Menu/Tab, to see what aspects of the program/app you can customize.

This is the very first step I take when using a new program/app.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, and the fast response. Here's the upshot:

  • Collapsing the left side menu helps, but not enough.
  • I did see the option to remove items from the dashboard, but I want to keep them all for now, and removing them doesn't help this problem anyway.
  • I had already looked in Settings. Stupidly, though, I had not noticed that there were multiple tabs there.
  • The Theme tab in Settings was a great discovery - thanks! Compact layout helps in this configuration.
  • Right clicking the dashlet and changing the width was the real key!
Vector team: 1) Why is this not documented under Dashlet Management?
    2) Please note that the common UI convention for this is to drag an edge.

With a wider and shorter dashlet, and smaller font, more information is visible. Unfortunately, because the buttons in the game dashlet still have the same width, there is still not enough room for readable labels, which was actually my main concern. Possible fixes:

  1. Add a tooltip to display the full label.
  2. Arrange the buttons in a list, rather than a grid, to allow more horizontal room for the label.

As a workaround, I have to use the edit dialog to see the full label.
