individual files may not get loaded

So, recently I was having problems with mods not working, so I deleted the game and uninstalled all mods, to start over. After reinstalling the game, I fired up Vortex, and immediately get the message "individual files may not get loaded," or something like that, with 2 options: fix it, or ignore. I click fix it. Anyway, every time I install a mod, the last mod I installed doesn't get loaded in-game. Vortex says it works, and it's on the mods list in-game, but it's unchecked and doesn't work. If I install another mod, the previous one gets checked and now works, but the new one doesn't. How do I fix that?

What drive is the game installed on?

Skyrim SE. I did deploy it. It is deployed. It just doesn't get loaded in-game. All mods are always enabled, except the last mod I install. If I install Skyui, alone, it doesn't get loaded in-game. But, if I install alternate life after skyui, then skyui will get loaded, but not alternate life. It's always the last mod I install that doesn't get loaded in-game. It's on the mods list, but it's not checked off.

It's in the Mod list but it doesn't have a green button that says ENABLED?

 

What about the PLUGINS tab, are they all ENABLED?

I don't think you're understanding. In the mod manager, it's enabled. In-game, you press escape, and click mods. The last mod installed by the mod manager, is on the mods list, but it's not checked off. It's not enabled in-game. It's enabled in the mod manager. It's not enabled in-game. Are we on the same page now?

Whatever mod was last installed in the mod manager, is not enabled in-game. If I install another mod after that, it will be enabled in-game, but the new mod will not.

Let's try it this way:

I install alternate life. It's enabled in the mod manager. I turn on the game, but alternate life is not enabled in the in-game mods list.

 

I exit the game. I install skyui. Alternate life and skyui are both enabled in the mod manager. I turn the game on. Alternate life is now enabled in-game, but skyui is not.

exit the game. Install apacchisky hair. turn the game on. Alternate life and skyui are both enabled in-game, but apachii hair is not.

 

And so on, and so on. The last mod installed is not enabled, in-game.

Also WHERE do you have your Mod Staging folder set, and where do you have vortex installed, because it sounds like you've got at least two plugins.txt fighting each other

Vortex is installed in Start Menu, programs, black tree gaming ltd. Where it wanted to be installed. Never mind. I'll just keep installing some dumb grass mod after I get all the mods I want installed, because nobody can tell me why Vortex is broken.

Vortex isn't broken, this is a problem with YOUR set up, because you are the only one with this problem.

Anyway, I'm quitting this thread, and maybe someone else will volunteer to help you because you don't seem to want help, or to listen to anybody that's trying to help.

@mewarmonger, stop using the shitty in-game Bethesda mod manager. It breaks SKYUI. It only really works for CC content. This is not a Vortex problem.
