REINSTALLED VORTEX 3 TIMES still cant find my game SK/SE

Hmm, maybe try reinstalling it another 42 times, I'm sure you'll have more luck then...

 

More seriously though: We have no way of finding your problem with that information, for all we know all your games are pirated/cracked.

 

I'm not sure why you would reinstall Vortex though. you can just click on the game you want to manage and if Vortex doesn't know where it is it will ask. Surely that is less effort than reinstalling Vortex again and again?

I think this person is having the same issue as me, which is a complete failure of the software to scan at all in any way shape or form.

 

They probably reinstalled because of that fact, which is reasonable, as I'm assuming to do the same thing. Manually pointing to games is fine but you should add an option to scan specific directories instead of the only options being "full scan."

 

Just let me go to settings > games > directories and add a "scan now" button next to each option. Simple fix.

This is more or less how it works in Vortex 1.3. The settings in settings -> games have been removed, instead you select the directories to scan when you press the "Scan for games" button (of course it remembers your previous selection).
