gyrofalcon
Modding Baldur's Gate 3, Early Access; I see the mods in "Load Order" in Vortex (v 1.3.19 Beta) and can move them around. But every time I restart Vortex, or push "Deploy Mods" / "Refresh List" or remove/adds/enable/disables a mod under "Mods", the Load Order gets reverted to the same sequence.Vortex can edit my modsettings.lsx, and manual editing in this file, doesn't help. Vortex always reverts the load order. Is there a "Save Load Order" button I don't see? Have tried "Manage Rules" but there is "No conflict", so I'm lost.I do have Vortex to "Allow Symlinks without elevation" if that has anything to do with it. Pickysaurus
Did you try deploying your mods after setting the load order? That may be required to save the changes.
gyrofalcon
Did you try deploying your mods after setting the load order? That may be required to save the changes. Yes. And every time I click that button (or any other menu-button within Vortex-Load Order or Mods), it resets to same order. And "Extra ASI" are pushed why up in load order, and Classes mods will no work. Are you accidentally sorting your load order with the DEPLOY ORDER column? You can click in the Column headers with the ^ and Down arrows to sort by Column. Notice Mine is sorted by INSTALL ORDER, because of the ^ sign, the unsorted Columns have an UP and a DOWN arrow.

I haven't even adjusted the columns at the "Mods" screen.I am sorting my mods over at the "Load Order" screen, where you can click and drag the mods in the order you like. Pickysaurus
Hmm, Did it work in previous versions of Vortex (if you used them)? I'm wondering if Vortex is getting blocked when trying to save the updated load order to file, so when it reads the data from the file again, it hasn't changed. I don't have BG3 myself so I've flagged this to the team. What may help is if you can perform the steps you mentioned and then send a bug report inside Vortex itself. This will allow you to include a log file so we can see what happened. You can do so from the three dots menu in the top right.
gyrofalcon
I'll do the bug report, I started to use Vortex on v1.3.18 and had to upgrade to 1.3.19Beta to get FoMod installer to work. So I never got around to check for Load Order on 1.3.18. I also had #7963 and had to delete a old plugin to make Vortex fully work as Mod Manager for BG3.I do have the "modsettings.lsx" open in Notepad++ and Vortex do alter it, and saves it. And if I'll try to tag the modsettings.lsx as Read-Only, Vortex gets really cranky :DMy choice of load order are saved in this file, and I can close Vortex and nothing gets changed. But when I boot up Vortex or click around in the mod manager, the list gets shuffled back.
gyrofalcon
I did send in a bug report 30 minutes ago, but can't see it in the GitHub Issues overview? And it is not in my "Your Issues"-box in Vortex.

If you've sent your log in our Vortex guys will take a look as soon as they can. All feedback is reviewed before being forwarded to GitHub. So don't worry it'll show up once it's been looked over. We do this to prevent spam on the GitHub page :)
