CAMmods
After the vortex update I have not gotten any notifications about conflicting files when downloading new mods (which I know I should be). Also the option to save or revert after I make changes to some mods using SSEEdit is not showing up at all. Anyone else have issues like this? Which mods are you downloading that you 'know' you should be getting "Conflicting" notifications about? The Option to Save or Revert after you've made changes in SSEEdit only show up when a DEPLOY event happens
CAMmods
I currently have the mod Mysticism - A Magic Overhaul downloaded and deployed. After downloading and deploying Odin - Skyrim Magic Overhaul, which effects several of the same spells I do not receive the conflicting file(s) notification. The mod author of Odin even listed on his compatibility page; Mysticism - A Magic Overhaul: Partially compatible. The vanilla spell changes in both mods will overlap, load the mod whose changes you prefer below the other. There will be some degree of functional overlap between the newly added spells in Mysticism and Odin. Is there a way to force a rule that puts Odin after Mysticism in the load order? Update; Well it finally showed a notification for file conflicts, but it was for different mods entirely (immersive weapons and blades samurai armor). Anyone able to use both Mysticism and Odin together?
Guest deleted34304850
if it doesn't notify you of a conflict, perhaps that's because there is no conflict to notify you of?you confirmed that it is showing conflict notifications, so it's obviously not broken? Zanderat
So, Vortex shows conflicts with mod assets (meshes, textures, etc.). It cannot show conflicts that are contained in the .esp. No mod manager can. That is what xEdit is for. You need to make a conflict resolution patch to make those two mods work together.
