TheMastersSon Posted April 25, 2018 Share Posted April 25, 2018 Here's a home movie (for NASA anyway) of the Apollo 11 liftoff, shot on 16mm film at 500fps (displayed at roughly 20x slower than actual speed). The camera was housed in clear quartz to protect it from the heat and water. Pretty amazing imo, especially the design of these engines which is partially explained by this often short on breath narrator.
