I've been using the Reinforced Leather Armor, Stormchaser hat and hanging a cigar outta my mouth. Typically pack an assault rifle, glock and a grenade launcher for crowd control. Sometimes I use tailor maid for the bootleg dagger and sawed off.

Also try New Vegas Bounties http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37310 If you like needs mods try IMCN http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37254 I personally haven't installed any changes in gameplay in that sense, but I know that Reload has that option in regards to head shot kills or tougher combat if you install all options, but this is also an weapons overhaul which I only use it for. So it has Reload, Rearm and Rebalance. I use only Reload and Rearm (Rearm gives these weapons to opponents in the wastes as well). Hands down I have a soft spot for RTS. Leaning curve is steeper and realistic. Things shouldn't magically pop up without some work in the wastes, but that is all about preferences really. Some folks want gear in lists and some want gear in a trunk you can't really win as a modder in that regard. I see RTS as the father and WD as the son. Both respectable for what they do and their purposes, but imo at the end of the day arcoolka's the man. What he's done to change FO3 is nothing short of incredible.

Can't say I disagree. I didn't last long playing my first play through without mods.

I remember the FO3 description and the rock that was used 20000 times lol. I had the mod bookmarked but FO3 for me never needed it, I had it running very good. However NV is starting to have a few issues. I look forward to reading up on it. Could you post a link here when it's done? Easier for myself to find, thanks and good luck!

The buggiest bug for me has been sound. Some places I get no sound with the voice dialogs. If I reload a save, sound comes back. Sounds simple enough but becomes a real pain.

Curious. Has things been changed a little with the boards? I don't seem to have the option of the mouse wheel click as opening up a new tab, and when downloading multiple windows open up? Also I don't mind the advert page that pops up, but it doesn't go away and pressing skip doesn't advance the page, I'd have to hit back space. Is this just me? Mouse wheel works everywhere else. Thanks!

Wiki also says it is likely unfixable. I had Save Cass mod installed and ready to go, it allows you to do Cass' quest and Van Graffs. However the updated patch makes that mod useless unless you do Van Graffs first. I was already long past Cass' quest to bother reloading an old save so I took them out and looting the store...with regret. :wallbash:

Update: Patch 1.2.0 makes it impossible to complete both Birds of a Feather and Heartache by the Number. Completing the latter turns all Van Graffs hostile to the player. Just read that on a wiki. Well that kinda sucks. The second you walk into Freeside, Atomic Wrangler area, the crier and Simon attack you. I don't know about that, it's kinda stupid. Anyone know away around this? I'd like to complete Birds of a Feather still. Thanks.

Does anyone use this? I did religiously with FO3. Just started to MasterUpdate today, as I have 90 mods, and noticed some mods have disagreed with it and I had to Restore. Anyone have stability with it? Oh I had a couple of frequent crashes today so I decided to start using MasterUpdate, thought I'd ask for peoples experience with it. Thanks!

Well my list has gotten bigger. I just do a merged patch here and a separate companion patch to sort out all those companion changes. I think I've got about several more and I should be done. I was thinking the same, but fallout boys face also appears in the top left corner for the trait and usually something odd is around with that music. With what falloutperson416 mentioned about the Chosen One, damn if that's true, this find is gold!

Coincidence? I'm certain around this time, the 9th, day of this thread, that my gf got an email from me with 'no subject' in the title. It was a link to viagra stuff. Now this has gone to all my contacts address book via my hotmail account so I was rather p/o and responded immediately to not click on it just incase etc. Thankfully it was an old address list and most of those old contacts got bounced back as failed to send. I can assure you I have not done anything shady, pron stuff or anything of that nature and I'm careful to who I give my email address to so I couldn't figure out the 'whys', aside from a recent signing up with a company that makes business cards etc, which was around that time that I can recall. Related? Thoughts? That email account is no stranger to spam as I do get it frequently from earlier less knowledgeable times as it's a 10+ years account. A SIDE NOTE: I didn't find a thread on it yet but I noticed everyone's kudos and AP is gone!?! Edit: Okay I'm finding some threads on this now ^
