  1. I highly suggest learning the construction set, and tweaking things yourself once you get a bunch of mods at your disposal. A must-have is this. It puts to use a lot of the unused aging maps, and adds unique features like scars, stubble, and acne. Men and women have different sets, as well as races. Dark Elves have unique Morrowind-esque options, and Orcs have a lovely set of tattoos made specifically for them. Also, it affects all NPC's as well, so you may see some refreshing variety in the game. http://www.fileplanet.com/180642/180000/fileinfo/Elder-Scrolls-IV:-Oblivion---Unique-Features-Mod-v1.5 This particular mod is probably installed on everyone's game. Probably for the hairstyles. I replaced my imperial, as well as my woodelves textures with the ones from these races. I enjoy how it looks. http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4431 This mod has recently added a myriad of hairs. http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36556
  2. I'm glad to have been of some use. Looking forward to what you'll create! c:
  3. Speedbuster made a cute chubblie body, and Trashdog has tweaked and made some great armours fit it. http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36168 http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36546
  4. The TGND variant uses HGEC textures, while looking at tad more average. It's one of my favourites. c:
  5. OH NOES! A SEX CACTUS! D: I think that race is one of Slof's. http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25129
  6. I like Robert's male and TGND. c:
  7. Not sure what you mean by toons, but the DMRA body might suit your needs.
  8. I whole-heartedly agree with this. I had never known freedom until I could mod, and it all started with this game. I am now trying to customise my experience in almost any game I pick up. Even if that means changing things I shouldn't know exist. ;)
  9. Perhaps you should add add to the script something that makes them refresh their inventory after you exit the menu.
  10. http://www.tesnexus....le.php?id=21724 *Cough* That version of Dante's clothing is from Devil May Cry 3 *cough* Oopsie. :c
  11. Anybody using HGEC or one of it's variants will be able to display your mods properly. Currently, only one body replacer may be installed per game, so your mod will be limited to the people that use the same body replacer. Often, authors make textures for each of the body types (UFF, Robert's Female, etc) in order to provide for more people. As for faces, head meshes are separate from ear meshes in this game, so it will be easy to modify ears to your liking. A really important tool you'll need is Nifskope. It's a program that allows viewing and rudimentary editing of the meshes used by this game. .Nif format. Polygons aren't touched upon in here, but this can be used for re-sizing, and given in-game properties. As for grid maps, they are more commonly referred to as UV maps, in case you'd like to ask around elsewhere. I don't use Maya, as I can't really afford it, so I can't help you out with that exactly. I'd say scour the manuals for an option to create and export UV maps. :P
  12. When I want to combine mods together, I use the construction set. There's an option under tools that says 'Combine Loaded Plugins'. If you have an esm loaded, this mod will be dependant on the esm.
  13. 1. There is a plug-in for Photoshop by nvidia, that allows you to open, view, edit, and save as .dds format. That is the format of textures used in this game. You may read about the plug-in, and download it here. c: http://developer.nvidia.com/object/photoshop_dds_plugins.html 2. There is no set place to put your files. As long as your files/folders are located somewhere within Oblivion/Data/Textures, you're good to go. When you create a race, replace the default paths leading to textures to the paths leading to your own, wherever they may be. If you want to test it in game, the easiest way to do that is to name your race one letter off of whatever your sewers save is. Or one letter off from Imperial, so when you start the game it doesn't take long to get to it. 3. I'm not sure what you mean by all male bodies. As far as I know, there is only the default male body, and Robert's Male. When you create a texture for your race based on a certain body type, all clothes and armour based on that body type will display your texture properly.

  15. Working on it now. When hair slot removes your ears, it makes me angry. >:c The second lengthy/bald braids are utterly perfect for an MTG style vampire character I've been designing for myself. Also, I just DL'd that Tolkien Elves mod that came out today. All of those new hairs make me feel a bit less shitty about not being able to get my hands on those other SKSRen's. You should get it before someone takes it down.
  16. This hairstyle. o: http://shy.jsphr.net/upload/img/ups21975.jpg
  17. ANOTHER SET?! *Le gasp* You spoil us. :o
  18. Looking for the location of, or at the very least the name of the following: These hairs: Hair 1 Hair 2 and Possibly the Outfit as well Hair 3 Hair 4, and possibly race This gorgeous porcelain doll-like race, and adorable dress: Semi-Adult content
  19. Where did your mods go? :c
  20. I love to texture things, and I'm decent in photoshop. If you can provide me with a UV Map for your model, I can texture for you.
  21. Something I liked about the third Fallout, was the random encounters you had with people trying to kill you for your Karma level. Karma doesn't seem to have much of a purpose in New Vegas, so I was wondering if someone could take the concept of the Regulators and the mercenaries of the Talon Company, and experience bounty hunters coming after you. It would be great for roleplaying, and for exp. They don't have to be those particular groups, but I'd love for my Karma to have more of an effect on my gameplay. I'm sure being an evil bastard would warrant some kind of bounty on my head, and helping anyone and everyone I meet might make people jealous that I'm more favoured than them, or superseding the wasteland's standards, and making them look obsolete. We could go even further than that and let faction reputation come into play. I'm sure a mighty man like Caesar won't just let you wander free if you cross him. If you're shunned or vilified by them, perhaps he'd care to send assassins here and there. Might be more interesting than just getting attacked when walking into their territory.
  22. Are you creating your own .esp, or modifying the existing ones to include your changes? If you're making your own, you need to know that you cannot have another .esp as a master file, only .esm. So for the outfit you're going to want to modify Boone by editting him within the outfit's .esp. Same goes for the hairstyle. Use the esp provided, or only be dependant on the .esm, and not the .esp.
  23. I don't think they attack you until you've been villified.
  24. Did you make sure that your mod is loaded after the mods it is dependent on?
  25. I am using the latest version of the steam game, and just updated to the latest steam. I kept getting a message saying to update to the latest NVSE, and it is from the Readius mod. other mods I use that require NVSE don't give me a problem at all, and I can play with them fine. I played with the readius mod perfectly fine before I updated. Are you going to release previous versions or new ones any time soon?
