  1. They've gotten off their ass to satisfy your pagan "multiplayer" needs - it's called The Elder Scrolls Online. Now quit your heretical talk of bringing multiplayer to our sacred single player experience, or I'm gonna have to send your forsaken soul to Oblivion! Edit: And yes, I mean both MMO AND co-op. Because once you bring in the possibility of a co-op experience you're radically changing the single player experience. Look at Dead Space 3 - that franchise was meant to scare you through isolation and loneliness in darkness, then it turned into a two-player shooter. Screw that. I will not accept my experience being traded so that I can play with some friends of mine. If I want that experience, I'll go and play something else.
  2. The papyrus log(s) is located in your Documents>My_Games>Skyrim>Logs>Script folder. Also, you modify the Skyrim.ini file in Your Documents>Skyrim folder, not your Skyrim_Default.ini file.
  3. Sounds to me like we might have another pirate trying to get help with their stolen game. >_>
  4. Respectfully Grantier, we thought the exact same thing in the previous installments. In Morrowind we defeated a demi-god; in Oblivion, the Daedric Prince of Destruction. Each installment draws a new threat, be it already hinted at in the lore, or introduced as a new world asset. I think it's only natural to assume that the same cornerstones of The Elder Scrolls will be maintained. The only question in my mind at this point is: a) which province the next installment is located, b) the status of the Empire, and c) if the next "big baddie" somehow involves the continent of Akavir, or if it's an entirely new threat.
  5. Dude, Mages still kick my ass, and my guy's level 64! It's because my character has virtually no magic resistance damage whatsoever, so the magic spells ignore my armor. Since BethSoft nerfed magic resistance enchantments, the only effective way to protect against magic attacks is with the barrier spells or Spellbreaker.
  6. The amount of work that you all have dedicated to this project is impressive. It strikes me as a nice balance of Cyrodiilic and Nordic culture, though it's a fair bit dense, so it'd probably need some sort of rationale behind it. I also wanted to mention that the voice actors sound near-monotonous in the trailer - they're all heavy on the foreboding tones. If it's not too late I'd like to hear some more energy and ferocity.
  7. 1. There's no system which determines it outside of the developers themselves. However, you can find a list of NPCs that are confirmed Stewards from one of the Elder Scrolls wiki sites. As for console commands, I can't help you out there.
  8. Some modders take down their work while they're nearing a new version. That could be the case.
  9. Did you make any console commands that modified your ini recently?
  10. That's an impressive render for Oblivion. I bet you'll see one made soon with the release of Heart of the Swarm.
  11. Yeah... your computer can't handle it. Unless the modder comes out with a "light" version, you're better off leaving it for another day.
  12. Have you verified your game cache?
  13. Seems plausible, but it's a really, really heavy workload. We'd be lucky if any number of people chose to jump into such a project. For now we should be happy that we even have those mods.
  14. I've always loved Markarth! The architecture and high-rise platforms are great! Sure, the stones are made of stone if you're a beggar, and the corruption was bad at first, but then you clear it out and the place is great. As for Riften, I actually find it to be quite a nice place, even if it's a little dull. For me, my least favorite city is definitely Winhelm, but that's not to say that I hate it.
  15. You're probably thinking of The Joy of Perspective by 3AMt.
  16. That was Suran, not Balmora. Here, look: Map of Vvardenfell. Oh, and I like this idea for sure! Definitely adds some much needed spice to the world. My character could crash on shore and yell out for parley before he's murdered! PARLEY! PARRRRLLLEEEYYYYYYY! Ugh! Damn the man who ever thought to invent parley! (He was French)
  17. Um... you have to be more specific. Moonpath specifically TAKES you to Elsewyr, and Tropical makes all of Skyrim practically look as if it were Elsweyr, so what do you want? Do you want a mod that replaces Skyrim with Elseweyr?
  18. >Marries Ysolda >Finds out later that she's a drug dealer >Shrugs, moves on. She's friends with Khajiit, SOMETHING had to be off about her.
  19. I killed Paathunax. My friends are still giving me s*** for that one. Oh, and the Daedra have an awful habit of making my character a terrible human being. But hey: man's gotta have his gear! Edit: And on the topic of Namira's Ring, that was DEFINITELY a disgusting experience. I reloaded the final decision like three times debating whether I'd follow through with it or not. But I finally gave in, partly because my character was already a Werewolf and it wasn't much different, and also partly because consuming corpses is kind of amusing. Now every time I do it I recite, "MMMMM soooo delicious! Nomnomnom" Yeah, I'm a psycho. But hey, I won't kill kids, so I have my lines. >_>
  20. There are pinned threads all over the Skyrim section of the forum with tips and instructions on this topic and related ones. Check them out.
  21. Skyrim HD 2k Textures and Static Mesh Improvement Mod are two reliable sources to replace as many vanilla textures with high-quality textures and meshes as possible. Try out the rest of the Skryim HD collection and see if that solves your issue. However, I have the suspicion that you have some kind of compression issue. Your objects look incredibly pixelated, which implies that they're not decompressing properly. I don't know how to solve that, but I know that it can be done.
  22. You'll get more information concerning NMM's features from their respective forums. However, I can tell you that one of the benefits of NMM is that it manages your various texture files to that they're not to much "overwriting" one another but prioritizing the ones you want. For instance, say you install a texture mod over the original vanilla textures, that doesn't mean the vanilla textures are gone, they're simply removed until the texture mod is removed. Further, if you overwrite certain textures from that mod with specialized texture mods, those textures will be removed. However, I can't confirm this as expert knowledge. I recommend forwarding any other questions you have to the NMM section of the forums.
  23. Might also be that your ini files have deactivated them somehow.
  24. If I were BethSoft, I'd have coded a random event where you come across a "Red Riding Hood" type character when you're in Werewolf form. But NOOOOO, Skyrim's not a satirical game like Fallout, they'd say!
  25. For that quality? I bet game collectors would eat that up! Me? Nah, not my thing. Looks pretty sweet, though.
