  2. if u go to "C:\Users\curentuser\Documents\My Games\Skyrim" u will see some folders there just copy the saves folder to your desktop(it contains all your saves and character info) delete the rest ,and be sure to manulay delete bethseda/skyrim folder in c/programfiles , some files tend to stay, and reinstal skyrim, then u will have a fresh copy and just put saves folder back to place, nothing lost of saves,character and level/items =P

  4. theres a big project going on here, they planning to make it possible to travelfrom skyrim do cyrodil and vardenfell, they started as soon as skyrim came out ^^ so yeah there is a modding comunity if this nexus comunity isnt refered to it, wich in my belives is very much alive and well ^^ i seen far better mods here then beths own things =P http://www.darkcreations.org/beyond-skyrim/wiki/index.php/Main_Page http://www.darkcreations.org/about/ just read thought and u get all the things u need and oh nexus is a modding comunity,we upload our stuffs here ^^ and some join team and create awsum mods =P and besides why dont your instructor create an account and join to see for himself? " Now I want to do a modification over Skyrim (as the title suggests) but my instructor needs proof about the community need for a modification, the proof can be an article about it etc." this has nothing to do with modding community(refering to the quote "as the title suggest") thats is illegal to modify their code to make your own game, if this is what u planning to do then this forum isnt for you.
  5. http://i39.tinypic.com/2lneps6.png i wanna put this in into skyrim but i cant figure out the static fiddling with nifskope since niftools dosnt have mopptreeshape and compressed mesh data export, only tri shape wich causes game to crash :( and fiddling with the scales in nifscope by doing totly new tree mopp is uh...jawns,,, and i tried copy, it dosnt work either(took magic pots bench and noble sidecup to test) so anyone knows hows to do it? ive already googled and forum searched for this matter but theres nothing out there :/

  7. if i understand right, u dont have a data folder/and sub folder to the item u have edited? if u mod an orginal item or any item u need to have correct setup in folder, like if u do an armor u need data/meshes/armor/"whatevername"/ nif files if this aint working go thought this list http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Skyrim_common_mod_issues

  11. u can use adobe media encoder wich is a part of their creative suits or im sure they have it standalone aswell from there u can convert a flv to avi wich u later can use in after effects or convert flv to gif and use in phootoshop(importing gif wich is available in c4 but not in c5) but thats not recomended, it gets all corny and ugly-.-

  15. normal yes, like for example sometexture.dds and sometextures_n.dds, but what is enviroment mask?
  16. u can take whatever skeleton u wanna animate, bethsedas own skeleton aswell, this is just a modified version of it with extra bones. ive putted a description and the video on the download link on nexusfiles. i just simplyfied this steps abit by taking the scene in max instead of external file and yeah it should preserve boneorder since nothing else was changed. based on what u need if u need skeleton just delete export animation in havok export

  18. this is my own files i wanted to upload on nexus,and meshes and textures is correct folder. but i cant seem to get this to work :(
  19. i took away the borders in game and went there, problem there is that u need to have fly cam all the time or u will just fall thought the goundmesh entirely new collission is needed there

  21. maxmenu customize->custom user interface->tab toolbars scroll down util u find kogen ,drag it out and put it somwhere on the menu in max http://cgterminal.com/2011/11/15/3ds-max-autoweight-v0-030-automatic-skinning-tool/ 1.select polygons->click set region 2.click region bone setup(calculate) 3.set weight transistion and lengh and click add skin modifier button done ^^ now just add dismemberskin and the mesh is ready for export. (asuming u already has done unwrap uw modifier on it) or just use wrap skin(check selectfaces, check wight all verticles(select vanilla mesh that alread has skin modifier), click convert to skin. now if u have nibad skin transport error in niftools u have to paint your own weights http://www.scriptspot.com/files/aw0.055.png

Speak to Lod: Help Lod locate a stray dog he saw on the road outside of Falkreath when u do the quest in the end u can choose to get rith of him =P then he will return to clavicus and be a statue or Barbas also "detects" you while sneaking and bumps into you - a lot. He maintains a very close proximity to you, and if you attempt to stop, he will almost certainly shove you, making many basic actions difficult (and cliff edges especially dangerous). He may box you into corners; he will normally move if you sprint into him, like other followers, but you may be forced to strike him in order to break free.
  23. what kind of implementing do u want to do? is the wings skinned or is it just some part of the mesh?
