Hey Folks, I was recently requested to provide unique facial scars for NPCs by magnumspec. I have a couple ideas but I would like to hear from users who are more familiar with the game then me. So, my question for you is this: Which NPCs could use these unique scar textures? These are a few examples of what I've done in the past... Any thoughts or ideas are very welcome!!!

Where did the patch come from?

Wouldn't be too hard, it just involves a little geck work and renaming an outfit to whatever the armor's directory is. I don't have FO3 installed anymore so I couldn't tell you what that is though... btw I find it ironic that you want to get rid of power armor but your icon has power armor on it XD

To be honest, I dont know. I've only ever created a single merged patch with FNVEdit and I've never had frequent CTDs. Maybe we'll hear more from other users as the day progresses... I mean who knows... it could just be one of the mods :confused:

Never heard of that one before but I wont dare to argue. Hows your RAM?

The first time I heard of water cooling I was like, "ARE YOU INSANE!? WATER + COMPUTER = BAD!" I need a full size case but I think I'll wait till my next build.

Nice. It's funny, only after I replaced my 9800 with this 560ti did I notice how little room I had in my PC. I have only a couple inches clearense under my card so I was very thankful my MSI fans had enough power to force the air out XD

Why two merged patches?

Ah lol ok Sounds like a good plan and a heatsink with duel fans is always nice.

Just make sure they are the same; crossfire does not work well (if at all) with different cards.

You could try shutting of sections of your load order (one at a time) and testing it to narrow down the search. For example you could turn off the bottom half (excluding and files nessary for the those among the top half) and test the game. If it works you can continue to narrow it down from there and if it does you can probubly rule those out.

I dont know most of those mods so I couldnt really comment. BTW you are checking the TESV.exe and not the launcher right?

The 650s are low profile cards, thats why they are and the low side... for a stubby little card... those are very impressive. The 660ti is in the perfect price range imo and is even offered with the wonderful MSI twin frozer heatsink :wub:

That is the world of computer gaming but I'm sorry to say $300 is the range you want to buy in and thats low end at that. You, like me, just bought at the wrong time; just before the release of a new series and a new set of directx 11 features (see the new dawn tech demo on the nvidia website) And yes the 600 series is much better but you will be able to run on your current card for quite some time. http://www.geforce.com/Active/en_US/shared/images/products/shared/lineup.png

Im fairly certain you have the right patch but to check you need to right click your TESV.exe, select properties, and then go to details; your patch will be there. I could be any number of things going wrong, most likely a new mod has caused it. How many mods does BOSS NOT recognize?

To add your own image got to the images tab at the top of the new vegas nexus page and select "add an image" you can upload one one from there. You could then post the image url anywhere you wanted to from there.

If you're not willing to fork out the full (but reasonable) $300 or so on a 600 series card I would buy another Asus 550 ti IF you can still find one. Most of the ones I've seen are already sold out and lord knows they arent being made anymore.
