  1. Well, remove one and try it. If it still doesn't work, remove the other. Make sure your game works without these two mods. Then add them back one at a time to isolate which one is causing problems. It could be both. It's also important to make sure you have any mods that these mods rely on, as well as have installed them properly.
  2. Teach me your secrets. I probably wouldn't dislike him so much if it wasn't so painful to look at. I mean, why is it that the Count of Skingrad looks like an okay guy, but Vicente and any PC turns into some hideous abomination?
  3. If you reinstalled it but did not start a new game, the issue will still be there. The saves are preserved and all the issues with them. Bloating, animation bug, etc. isn't going to get fixed (that I know of) by simply doing a reinstallation. None of the saves are actually altered.
  4. Hmm, I'm not sure how to fix it then. If I tab out it resolves itself instantly once I click back to the game. Sorry I can't be of more help. I just haven't had any experience with this issue in the way it is presenting itself to you.
  5. Vicente has actually been one of the people I've slain before any others. He's a massive creep. I don't mind the humor, but looking at that horrendous excuse of a face is just too much. If the Kahjiit hasn't managed to really tick me off, he's the next one in line.
  6. Hmm, well there's the Apachii Heroes' Store, but I think that may require Robert's male body. I don't remember. I'm also quite fond of TDA Armory, but last I had looked the armors can only be equipped as sets (meaning the gauntlets, boots, cuirass, and greaves are one item) and therefore can only hold one enchantment. However, it also adds helmets and shields which can be equipped as individual items, and adds in some weaponry as well. Other than those two I can't call to mind anything for males that I've actually used.
  7. I really don't think I've seen my game advance more than a year or two. Plenty of time has gone into each of my characters, but when I sleep to raise a level I only rest one hour and I scarcely ever just wait. It's a lot harder to pass time if you're actually doing something. Then again, I've never really watched too closely so who knows. Maybe it has gone more.
  8. Possibly. I had heard/read somewhere that Glass Armor came from volcanic glass. Assuming that the two are similar. I'm not sure, but either way it's an interesting find.
  9. I add an aesthetically pleasing exterior, large enough to house whatever anyone else wants to put in (Mary Poppins-style).
  10. Is it possible you added in a mod that is causing this? I'm assuming you didn't always have this issue, so perhaps it is something you've recently added to your game that's causing the problems. I can't really make a call though because I don't know what all you've got installed to your game.
  11. People need to stop worrying about something as trivial as fast travel. You're never forced to use it, and if you don't want to you shouldn't. Saying, "I don't want to, but if it's there I feel that I have to," is some of the biggest crap I've ever heard. Is it truly that incredibly difficult to just not use it? I can't even imagine it being difficult. Aside from that, though, I would not mind seeing more "realistic" forms of fast travel. Teleportation spells to major cities/landmarks, horse-drawn carriages, boats, hell having a big strong guy toss you down a mountain works. They'd be great for immersion, but they can also be done without. Fast travel isn't perfect, but it's not terrible either. Be glad it's not going the course of the Fable games. Those let you travel from anywhere, regardless of enemy presence, to almost anywhere important in the game, right down to individual buildings. That's something that needs complained about. For a world that small, fast travel isn't needed. In a world as expansive as the Elder Scrolls series, it is.
  12. Then you are not installing the mods correctly. This, or the mods you are using aren't any good. Also make sure you removed the mods from the first time around. I know that simply uninstalling Oblivion does not remove my mods. Those I have to go back and delete manually. Therefore, if you never got rid of the mods, the same issues are going to keep arising. I also suggest that you place the mods back in one at a time, and test the game after each one. That's a pretty stupid-proof way I use to see what mod is deciding to make things suck.
  13. Hmmm... Rather a lot actually. I deleted lots of them recently, but it looks like I better tidy up again. But would too many saves slow down the loading bar? It might, because I've been noticing similar issues. I don't use a ton of mods, but I've got maybe 10. Easily have more than 10 different saves though. Takes me a solid 2 minutes to load up anywhere in a city, and longer anywhere in the IC. If saves is the issue though I may cut back. Any other things that cause this though?
  14. Yeah, those thing jumping out have caused more than one palpitation. I play with Darker Nights from the Natural Environments mod I use, so when a random Xivlai (sp?) comes out of nowhere I practically jump out of my chair. Going to need to get myself a bigger flashlight.
  15. I give it the power of successful tax evasion, that it may build up a treasure to guard and not need to worry about the state getting a cut without having to fight to get it.
  16. burning EDIT: Okay, maybe a guy burning is too intense lol. New: Girl
  17. Nah, I get what you mean. It'd be nice to have some giant battle axe wielding Daedra or something that you can go kill with some companions. I don't mind slashing back and forth a few times with bandits though because there's really not much variety in the enemy encounters to begin, simply because there's not any giant Daedra bosses hiding out in a cave somewhere. The novelty of the combat seems to wear off a little more slowly, for me at least, if the fights at least last a little longer, even if we're just clicking the same button over and over.
  18. Lol, I can happily say I've never eaten a poison apple before. I'll admit, however, that I ate more than a handful of nightshade before. At the time I didn't realize that it'd still effect me even if it wasn't in a potion.
  19. four more than I've asked ;)
