Lets see, games developed by the same team: - Morrowind 2002 (in between, Tribunal, Bloodmoon) - Oblivion 2006 (in between, like 8 small DLCs, KotN, and Shivering Isles) - Fallout 3 2008 (in between, 5 DLCs of considerable size) - Skyrim 2011 Now, take in account. MW was launched on July, Oblivion on April, Fallout 3 on October and Skyrim on November. So its kinda almost counts like 2009 and 2012 for FO3 and Skyrim launch date, respectively. So, you got 3 and a half years between Morrowind and Oblivion, almost 3 years between Oblivion and Fallout 3 (they ramped up the numbers in their team according to those pre releases) and another 3 years between Fallout 3 and Skyrim (they hired more ppl again). Unless they change their development procedures for some reason, or the videogame market changes drastically in the next 3 to 6 years, me says: - Fallout 4 for end of 2014 or beginning of 2015. - TES VI for 2018. I do hope that they hire other ppl in between to make a spin off based on TES or FO universe like they did for New Vegas. I dont care if TES its "Bethesda's thing", it wont affect in any bad way their next TES release and i'll have more stuff to play in between. Do you think that FO3 money went directly to that lawsuit? Unless their lawyers cost 10 million a month, i dun see it. They earned up to half billion dollars on each big game release. Who knows how much money they made out of DLCs. Besides, Bethesda Softworks was behind the lawsuit, the only thing that matters for Beth's Game Studios is that investiment gets to them, not investing in them after Skyrim's success would be borderline bat sht crazy.

TES VI Ehlnofey Wars Now THAT would be awesome (and it would render TES V outcome irrelevant by that time). From a time when the world was not the world, but just pieces stuffed togheter, reviving the war between the Ehlnofey that could maintain their civilization and the Ehlnofey who survived in the wasteland that was left after the collision of the different worlds.

Exactly. The thing is that if these laws start to sprout everywhere (SOPA law in the US, part of the SINDE law in Spain, etc), there will be a point in wich, instead of making tons of different laws, they'll make a single international law, like ACTA. Its a domino effect, one country passes the law, then the ones with direct trade agreements to that country probably will too, and so on. What we would need to do is to enforce internet neutrality like Chile and Sweden. That would prevent any draconian measure like SOPA without making internet no man's land/terra nullius. Giving too many means for the pirate sites to protect themselves is asking for bad stuff to happen, but, doing the same for private companies with a profit at all costs culture ends up in the same place. Well, SOPA rather than giving means to protect copyright, actually gave means to attack with copyright... Well, that's what all of this is about, preventing copyright laws from being actually used to attack other ppl rather than just protect copyright holders. -
Correct. Just ask and we'll do it. :( Too bad that this account is 6 year old. Thanks for the answer! EDIT: Ah, and one thing, in my profile, is there any way to view more than the last 5 post that i made?

Brynjolf frocing me to join thieves guild....
eltucu replied to diamonddragoniori's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
You should have said "OMG, breaking the law!? WHAT ARE U THINKING!? " And he would have left you alone (not exactly alone since he says to you that you can talk to him later if you change your mind). And thats it. Brynjolf continues with his weird rip-offs and you can do whatever you please (u can kill Sapphire too if you didnt started/finished the quest of the guy in the stables). -
The original meshes are not replaced, just delete the files that the mod added and that should be it. Skyrim loads all the meshes from the Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, and only if there is a mesh in the Data/meshes folder, it reads meshes from there too.

Eehhh, no. It doesnt works like that http://s1.zetaboards.com/TESFU/topic/2694183/1/

I think that its supposed to kill you if you make a mistake in the doors puzzles, i think most of them, if not all of them have always a fire/poison trap if you try the door with the wrong combination. lol no dude, Restoration needs magicka, while alchemy doesnt. Any warrior char would be already spending all their levels on Health or Stamina already, and the basic 100 magicka can only do so much, specially at higher levels.

The thing is that its not mythology in TES, much of the creation lore is fact. Aedra exist, Daedra exist, Lorkhan existed, and only cuz him Nirn was created, etc. They'd proper fcking all the lore by introducing other planets. Lachdoning, where u are when we need u!? :P

Sup? Im running all Skyrim's BSAs from a ramdisk, so space is a concern, and currently i have some mods that weight around 300Mb or so, those get loaded from the HDD, from the Textures, Meshes, etc folders. To run all that from the ramdisk i'd need to put every mod resource on the ramdisk then do a file symbolic link that points from the HDD's Skyrim data folder to the folders placed in the ramdisk. So both modded files and original files benefit from ramdisk's speed. That would be an issue cuz those mods are texture and mesh replacers, so, not only i'd have that HQ heavy data in the ramdisk but also the original's skyrim data that the game wouldnt use inside the BSAs. Pretty much, duplicated files. Now, what i'd really want is, since those mods are mostly texture/meshes replacers, re create Skyrim's BSAs replacing its original files with the new modded ones. So i could put everything on the RAMdisk without storing redundant data there (not counting that storing everything on the BSAs would make easier to set up the ramdisk by limiting the amount/type of links i have to make) I tried extracting the BSAs with FOMM utility, copying and replacing the files, then remaking the BSA with FOMM's utilty. Game crashes right away, so im guessing imcompatibilities between Skyrim's BSA format and FO's ones. Also tried BSAopt tool since it seems to support Skyrim but it only looks to be capable of repacking BSAs rather than packing new Skyrim's BSAs from files, or merging existing BSAs with other new files (any of these last two would be enough). So now i dunno what else to try... Any idea?

Dude, the 1.2 patch was very broken (that dragon issue, resistances not working at all, etc).
-
Huh, why?

The thing is, Witchers dont kill sentinent monsters (according to Geralt), thus, they dont kill Dragons since they're as sentinet in TES lore as they are in Witcher's lore. Now that i think of it, it would be nice to fight the Wild Hunt in Tamriel, but that would break TES lore lol (the Wild Hunt reason to be demands the existence of other worlds like nirn, but in TES lore, it seems like Nirn is a one of a kind thing).

lol yes. At low level i equip a Dibella's amulet, give a coin to the beggar, then start the money making machine! :P

Because you lose what again? Instead of 1000000 gold you do not know what to spent it on you only have 500000 with no good use? When greed gets in your own ways ... :armscrossed: You can make endless amount of money, by buying any soul gem and weapon (doesnt matter even puny do), enchant both and sell em back with 1000 gold profit each. So why crybaby if someone gives you only 700, if you have an endless supply? lol, this. OP, just sell it for whatever the merchant has. Or buy something from him to make him reach the ammount of gold that your axe worths (i dunno, ingredients, soul gems, crafting materials, potions, lockpicks, etc). I'd really, really liked if Beth implemented some system to actually get an advantage out of it. For example, if you sell an item that worths way more that what the merchant has, the merchant sometime after makes a good deal out of that item and now has an improved stock, more gold or makes you a discount, something like that. I'd happy to "invest" my 500k on various merchants around Skyrim that way. "Want more money buddy? Here, have this bunch of potions, i have no use for them" *hands 20 potions worth 1k each* Like when i gave 10 thousand gold coins to that Argonian after Sanguine's quest, he said he was going to buy some land in Black Marsh lol

This, so much this. I think it was a very, very bad design desition to make the Circle stop giving you jobs until you progressed with the main Companions quest. Anyway, one advice. Dont go crazy on magic, Geralt was a very skilled sword fighter but no master at magic. Now, the thing i see is that in The Witcher games, Geralt uses his swords with both hands (actually, in the witcher 1, two handed normal sword and one handed silver sword, both are two handed in Witcher 2), but two handed weapons in Skyrim are way too slow to reflect Geralt's combat style, and Bethesda didnt spent time to make the player use both hands for some attacks (like power attacks) if he/she is using a single sword with no other stuff in the off hand. So i dunno what choise would be best for that. In this case, Oblivions skills would come in handy since Swords skill was for all swords, so you could both silver one handed sword and normal two handed sword.

Sword and Board Warrior superior to Twohanded Warrior?
eltucu replied to SpellAndShield's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I agree that dual weild long swords has the best damage output of the game. One power attack for killing an ancient dragon on expert. Now that is something (or power attack sneak critical with daggers, it works! ). But, two handed weapons are more fun in the sense that you can block, so you have more ways to approach combat instead of run at the opponent and stab him until one of us is dead (wich was critical if you have an assassin build, with no so much health or armor, and you need to kill things fast if they see you). -
I finally found a toilet to use in Skyrim.
eltucu replied to nitevision92's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
This, on every camp or fort, you always find a bucket or something in a corner that it was used as a toilet (well, implies it was used as a toilet since there isnt any "mess" around). I think it was pretty nice detail. I mean, not always is hack n slash through hordes of dragons, bandits n bears ya know?
