Tl;dr. Farvat, you pretty much lost me at the first sentence.
-
First, this is the subforum for site feedback and questions - not help with your Skyrim mods questions. In future please locate the correct game related subforum by following the link in the upper right hand side of the mod sites that says "forum" it will lead you to all the Skyrim related subforums. Second: that's a very complicated question, one that has been answered thoroughly in the past in various formats that you might find easy to understand. Please go to google and type in "how to install mods" + "game" and pick whichever previously composed tutorial seems easiest for you to understand.

Anything that uses an UNP normal map is fine to use with UNP.

Please read the rules properly. A snipit from the rules, highlighted section that seemed most relevant. Adult content in the regular imageshare would extend to forms of extreme violence and gore which is culturally sometimes considered far more adult than naked bodies. But the first sentence is very clear - no nudity in the regular image share. That means none. Zip. Zero. Nadda.

The vast majority of people on this site I've seen be overly vocal about adult mods and their accessibility have been people who disliked them - not the other way around. And no I don't think pointing that out is an "unreasonable attack" or that the previous posters who don't see a need for change deserve to be described as such either.

I cant access to www.nexusmods.com
Oubliette replied to federicoiv12's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
If you were IP banned you wouldn't be in the forums either. When in doubt it doesn't hurt to try a site like is it down for me or everyone. Which says the site is up btw. There's also a thread with a similar title in the forum questions and site issues subforum - which is where this question should be adressed instead of on the game specific subforum. Might want to try searching for and reading that thread. -
In future please follow the steps below to report the ad properly so Dark0ne is sure to see it and add it to the list he need to bring up with the ad agency. Nexus uses a third party for their advertisements and isn't directly responsible for what ads play. They depend on users to report ads properly so that they can then go to their advert supplier and have the offending ads removed from rotation. To properly report an offensive or dangerous ad (here's a clue, all three that you mentioned would probably be good candidates for reporting) please use the following steps. Screenshoot the ad and the page it displays on.Click "Contact Us" at the bottom of any page (this assures that the issue goes directly to Dark0ne who is the only one that can contact the ad company or make any other necessary site based changes).Link the screenshot you took, the page you were on and write down any and all reasons for your reporting the ad.Hit send.Be patient, Dark0ne takes ad complaints very seriously but do remember he's dealing with another corporate entity and that sometimes takes time. Thanks for your understanding and co-operation.

Asset Usage Permission Rules Relating to Dead Accounts
Oubliette replied to xxxMrSlenderman's topic in Site Support
Or really heartening to the people who entrust this site with keeping the fruits of their hardwork safe. -
It changes the picture to both. Changing to the mod site is either slow or not working. It's an issue the site is aware of and working on, if you want to know more try searching for 'avatar' in this subforum.

I think for 2D assests usually a copy of the psd or even a pic of your open psd with the working layers clearly visible is enough proof (and the easy way to go) there should be an equivalent method for models. If they've stolen a lot of your assests only a few examples of your ownership should be necessary.

Where can you actually see the distribution permissions?
Oubliette replied to iwonderif's topic in Site Support
If it's not there or posted in the description - assume you can't. You can try contacting the modder directly but most will put it in at least one of those places and possibly their readme as well. -
Known bug, they're working on it.

There's a metric ton of adult mods for Skyrim, check your tags.

It was specifically listed as against the rules in the ToS. Why expect a different outcome? Generally? Tl;dr seems to be the culprit most of the time. Or an entirely irrational sense that the rules don't actually apply when they have read them. Truly baffling behavior. Like expecting playing with fire to give one a nice tan.

Please help, SKSE website is down, where can i get SKSE?
Oubliette replied to zlopez's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
No. Anyone that uploads a file that isn't there's to another site risks their account here. It is, frankly, rude to even ask. Use the main website or use steam, either one should work just fine. If it's your internet connection try accessing it with a different browser. -
Did someone upload a mod for that game? Faik Nexus will host mods for any game that the modders want to upload here. The modders themselves must upload their mods or someone who has permission to upload their mods here must do the uploading and a site will be created automatically for that game. Otherwise - no site. With the exception of some Bethesda games, Nexus doesn't usually create a site for mod hosting prior to modders uploading content for that game. If you uploaded a mod that you didn't have permission to upload or did not make then that would be why the mod and site were pulled but other than that I don't know.

anyone still have Skyrim winter overhaul?
Oubliette replied to smiity935's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I'm sure some do but asking them to share it would be putting their account at risk. Of course a quick search show's that it's still available under a slightly different name. -
Yes, lots of sites aren't as diligent as Nexus is about not allowing uploads without permissions from authors. You can try contacting the website owner/operator and asking them to remove your mod.

Much appreciated.

A few Questions about SOS (Schlongs of Skyrim)
Oubliette replied to Kellopuppy's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
You haven't properly removed the meshes that come with the mod. Download SOS and open up the file manually, look at the mesh folder and subfolders, then locate the corresponding folders in your Skyrim Data folder, delete any and all content from the Skyrim/Data/meshes folder that you find in the SOS file (don't worry, your original meshes are safe inside of the BSA) then do the same for the Textures folder and you should be back to default. -
1. If you were I.P. banned you wouldn't be able to access the forums either and there would be a message stating that you'd been banned. 2. Some people have been reporting having problems getting the mod sites to load the last few days. It doesn't seem to be location based (or at least not Glasgow based as one of the staff is from there and they haven't mentioned having any problems so far). It seems to be something effecting some users and not some others. I think there have been a few cases reported from the state side of things but I can't be sure. Unfortunately this doesn't seem like something we're going to be able to fix from the user end so please be patient till Dark0ne figures out what's wrong.

Thanks everyone ;D
