Nexus Mods now uses a system known as OAuth. This means that you have one account that acts as a central hub for all our services (and external ones). You sign in at users.nexusmods.com and each "app" you decide to use (forum, main website, collections website, wiki, etc) will request permission to access the account through the authorisation system. Eventually the collection website will replace the main site and you won't have to sign in twice to browse mods/collections, but we're a few years away from that happening.

Try deleting the Vortex folder at %appdata%. Something on your PC (possibly anti-virus) may have corrupted the install.
-
This was a temporary issue, it should be fixed now!
-
Sounds like you're talking about the External Changes window. If Vortex made the changes itself, it would know what to do with the files, but this window shows because something outside of Vortex (the game, another modding tool, etc) made edits. Vortex can only then take a best guess on what is supposed to happen.
-
It's not great, it means that the mods aren't actually checked for updates if the endorsement check errors. This either needs to be fixed on your account or a workaround added to Vortex.
-
Is this impacting your ability to use any of the site features or is it just an annoying message each time you start Vortex? Does Vortex still check for updates or is the entire process aborted? Edit: On reviewing the source code, it appears that if the endorsement refresh fails, so does the update check: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Vortex/blob/838a073fa0a326eb4877ca721b0c9cf3b69d61e0/src/extensions/nexus_integration/util.ts#L1175

Go to your dashboard and fix the tool that is pointing to the non-existant D drive. It's caused by a poorly configured collection.

I can see you're getting over 3MB/s from all servers. The stability of your connection may be down to how your ISP routes their traffic. They may be artificially throttling you or it might just be bad routing. You can always try a VPN to see if that's a bit more stable?

Does Nexus have a problem connecting to the Philippines
Pickysaurus replied to BewbsFTW's topic in Site Support
If the speeds a slow across the board, it usually means there's a problem closer to your end of the connection. It's either an ISP limit or bad routing in many cases. You could try using a VPN to see if the speeds improve. Most files are now served via Cloudflare, which has a lot more servers around the world than our previous CDN provider. -

Looks like your C++ redistributes are broken. The solution maybe be the same as the one here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/12319363-plugin-section-has-disapeared/

You can make this selection in your preferences: https://www.nexusmods.com/users/myaccount

Glad to hear a VPN worked for you. In this case, your ISP is likely throttling your downloads or simply has a bad connection to our servers.

Your response to the email was to turn of adult content or block the author in question if you don't like their specific content. This remains true. All adult content is already opt-in.

Can you try the search now? After the migration we did in January some back-end bits got a bit messy so with that tidied up it appears to work again.

Slow Download After Cancelling Subscription
Pickysaurus replied to GodOfDeathX's topic in Site Support
You have some severs listed there that don't exist anymore, however, if all of your downloads are limited then it implies your ISP (or just a bad connection) is the issue. You can try reporting the issue to your ISP or using a VPN. You still have Premium until 2024, so we are not applying any restrictions on our side. -
Looks at your results, changing your default server to Chicago would give you the best speed. Unfortunately the reliability is very likely to be a problem at your ISP. You can report a fault to them or try a VPN to see if your connection quality improves.

Download is too slow after I ended Premium subscription

It looks like your tests don't include all the information we need. Please see the pinned thread if you're unsure what we need -
