  1. Showler basically answered your questions. If you're just trying to change your username, please see https://help.nexusmods.com/article/24-how-can-i-change-my-username
  2. We're definitely aware that some users in the community have concerns regarding AI tools used to created voices/art/etc for mods. It's a really cool tech and has a lot of potential in the modding space, but at the same time I can see the potential problems and avenues for abuse it creates. Some users have said that it devalues the work of artists/voice actors who create original content but we're not entirely convinced on that. Original content tends to be much higher quality and there's space for both types to coexist. Right now, the use of AI-driven tools and their outputs is not prohibited by our File Submission Guidelines and we don't have any good reason to change that for now. Mods are generally cobbled together with whatever resources the author had to hand to make their vision a reality. In my own mod work I've spliced together existing dialogue lines to create new ones. AI voices are basically an evolution of that. If a mod is submitted that uses a remixed voice or some kind of AI-generated image that infringes on copyright in some way, we'll respond to any valid file report or DMCA which we comes from the copyright holder. With mods being passion projects that are created and distributed for free I don't really see them being too big a target. If you did the same thing in a commercial context (i.e. a product you were selling) that would be a lot more problematic. In short, it's a situation we're monitoring, but for now using AI content isn't against the rules. I would recommend sticking to voices that already exist in the game you're modding to be safest.
  3. The way adult content works for Collections is described here: https://modding.wiki/en/nexusmods/collections/adult-content As your collection did reference an adult mod in a draft revision before you first published it, I don't believe there is any mechanism to "undo" this flag. Try pushing a new revision without any changes.

  5. Something on your PC (probably a security app) is likely blocking Vortex from working properly. If it's happening in MO2 it's definitely external to the apps.
  6. The Xbox (PC) version of Fallout 4 puts the DLC in a random other folder. You'll have to manually copy them into the game folder so that Vortex can see them.
  7. This reads like an error from UE4SS, which isn't anything to do with Vortex.
  8. Have you tried increasing the number of download threads in the Vortex settings?

  10. Hyper804 banned Reason: Uploading a file which allows users to play pirated copies of Hogwarts Legacy. Reference post
  11. Make sure you deploy after disabling a mod. It is not actually removed from the game folder until deployment is complete. Please also keep in mind that you CANNOT remove mods with plugins safely from a game in progress. You save data will become corrupted over time if you do this.
  12. deleted127472803 account deleted Reason:Account closed by request
  13. Nexus Mods now uses a system known as OAuth. This means that you have one account that acts as a central hub for all our services (and external ones). You sign in at users.nexusmods.com and each "app" you decide to use (forum, main website, collections website, wiki, etc) will request permission to access the account through the authorisation system. Eventually the collection website will replace the main site and you won't have to sign in twice to browse mods/collections, but we're a few years away from that happening.
  14. Try deleting the Vortex folder at %appdata%. Something on your PC (possibly anti-virus) may have corrupted the install.
  15. This was a temporary issue, it should be fixed now!
  16. Sounds like you're talking about the External Changes window. If Vortex made the changes itself, it would know what to do with the files, but this window shows because something outside of Vortex (the game, another modding tool, etc) made edits. Vortex can only then take a best guess on what is supposed to happen.
  17. It's not great, it means that the mods aren't actually checked for updates if the endorsement check errors. This either needs to be fixed on your account or a workaround added to Vortex.

  19. Is this impacting your ability to use any of the site features or is it just an annoying message each time you start Vortex? Does Vortex still check for updates or is the entire process aborted? Edit: On reviewing the source code, it appears that if the endorsement refresh fails, so does the update check: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Vortex/blob/838a073fa0a326eb4877ca721b0c9cf3b69d61e0/src/extensions/nexus_integration/util.ts#L1175

  21. Go to your dashboard and fix the tool that is pointing to the non-existant D drive. It's caused by a poorly configured collection.
  22. I can see you're getting over 3MB/s from all servers. The stability of your connection may be down to how your ISP routes their traffic. They may be artificially throttling you or it might just be bad routing. You can always try a VPN to see if that's a bit more stable?
  23. If the speeds a slow across the board, it usually means there's a problem closer to your end of the connection. It's either an ISP limit or bad routing in many cases. You could try using a VPN to see if the speeds improve. Most files are now served via Cloudflare, which has a lot more servers around the world than our previous CDN provider.
