  4. We're aware, sorry it's taking so long. The root cause of the issue hasn't been tracked down yet. I'll see if I can get some movement on this soon.
  5. This is often caused by a bad installation of the app, a security app interfering with Vortex or a problem with the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable installed on your PC. To solve this issue please try the following: - Reinstall Vortex from the Nexus Mods website - Install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (you can find this using a search engine) - Disable any anti-virus software or other security apps that interfere with Vortex and install it again If the issue persists, please create a thread in our support forum for further assistance.

  9. If you've deleted your AppData folder for Vortex, then either the app isn't installed correctly or something else on your PC is breaking it. If your PC is now, try installing all pending Windows Updates, the C++ Redistributable and .NET 6, then install Vortex again.
  10. If you can provide the specific error message we might be able to help you. If you clicked past it without reading it fully you might have missed some important information.
  11. If you remove the entire appdata folder it will reset Vortex. Failing that, something on your PC is causing it to crash on start.
  12. If you did a full factory reset, you'll need to reinstall Steam and Skyrim to update the registry. Or just click on the game and point Vortex to the install path.
  13. Use the "Report and Quit" button to send feedback to our team. You might be able to do so by pressing the enter key. If this is a fresh install of Vortex you can try deleting the folder at %Appata%/Vortex. This removes all settings and content installed to the app.
  14. Mods downloaded from Nexus Mods are identified by the MD5 hash of the zip archive that is downloaded. If you download from other sources you'll need to make a custom extension to support identifying them.

  16. Found it and added a bug report: https://next.nexusmods.com/morrowind/collections/urwtmv?bugReportId=903&tab=Bugs
  17. Which Collection did you install? It appears to have badly defined tools.
  18. Without the exact text or a screenshot I can't say for sure, but usually you need to reinstall Vortex (to repair a broken install), reinstall C++ Redistributable or install .NET 6 (see the pinned post for that one).
  19. Here's the community extension page for that game: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/375
  20. Are you using NordVPN? If so it's their new "Threat Protection" addon that is breaking the site. If not, here's our general tips: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/113-troubleshooting-website-issues
  21. Please see our help page here: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/113-troubleshooting-website-issues A point to note, NordVPN's "Threat Protection" seems to be a common cause of breaking the site in this way lately. Please make sure you report it to them if this turns out to be the case.
  22. Vortex only prompts overrides in the mods tab if two mods contain the exact same file names deployed to the exact same path. I don't currently have Bannerlord installed, but I suspect this is some kind of weird edge case if it can't be resolved by re-ordering the two mods in the load order.
  23. Another thing to note is that if a mod has more than one main file, those buttons will open the file tab so you can choose which one you want (but it doesn't currently scroll you down automatically).
  24. This is just a rant, so I'm locking this thread. The answer to your question is in the very article you linked.
