I'm sorry to hear you're having this problem, however it's 100% not on Vortex. What's happening here is Vortex is attempting to communicate with the internet and is getting the error listed in the screenshot back. The reasons for the error are listed in the message. If you can work out what on your PC specifically is triggering it I'd be curious to know if there's something we can do to cater for this better.

This is most likely to be either your local Anti-virus has messed up your security certificates or is blocking Vortex from connecting to the internet. A couple of things to try otherwise are to install any Windows Updates that are waiting and ensure the date/time on your PC is correct.

It varies from one account to the next. If you're a user who has never posted, never uploaded anything or otherwise interacted with the community there's very likely to be nothing we can do though.

I'm afraid you missed 90% of the info we needed there. However, we've had a few reports from Hong Kong which seems to suggest that your ISP is intentionally blocking our download servers. You'll need to contact them to get it fixed I'm afraid.

Blocking users from your mod pages is a moderation tool. So you can only use it to moderate your comments section. It's never been intended as an arbitrary block.

Turn off any browser add-ons. These often break the page.

Basically this sums it up why we don't have such a thing. A "dead" mod (i.e. something that hasn't been updated in 10+ years) could still work fine, so there's no way to programmatically determine if a mod is outdated and relying on some kind of voting system is open to abuse. Not if it "doesn't work", huge difference between a mod that works 10 years later and mod that doesn't work. But I get it, clicks and downloads for a broken mod trump player frustration. :thumbsup: I would say a fair chunk of the time when something allegedly "doesn't work" it's down to user error rather than a fault in the mod. If you look at collections right now they feature a "Did it work?" vote in the form of a success rating. Even the best Collections score around 75% so that implies that at least 25% are failing to install it somehow.
