In the past the "starter" dashlet contained a big button to start the game itself, that has indeed been removed in the new design . The tools dashlet contains only the buttons for the additional tools, not for the game. I assume that's where the confusion stems from. Yes, I get that, I'm just pointing out there's another button that has always been there which offers basically the same functionality :thumbsup:

Basically this sums it up why we don't have such a thing. A "dead" mod (i.e. something that hasn't been updated in 10+ years) could still work fine, so there's no way to programmatically determine if a mod is outdated and relying on some kind of voting system is open to abuse.

It is not longer required to scan. Just search for the game, click the tile and it will scan for that game specifically.
