  1. The chance that someone creates armor by request is less than 1%...even smaller when you're hoping for something with very good quality. Even a mashup of exisiting armor is not that easy but the chance that someones does it this way is higher - best compromise you'll get imo. http://666kb.com/i/cn404gync454cx8ak.png ... his idea is pretty good. This is just a quick sketch added black gloves from Thalmor as well. With fine tuning, adding/using armor parts, altering/deleting belt/sash/buckles blabla and a retexture it could look pretty neat.

  3. Different colors, different Tsuba, different sheath, no engraving on the blade and so on. Yes, most Katanas look similar when it comes to the general shape. But the details differ...in this case it's a big difference. If you just want a random Katana then one of them will make you happy, if you want something that looks like Michonnes Katana it won't.

Whatever, you have to adjust the UV map to look more like the vanilla UV map...i just spend a few seconds on it and as you see it already looks better: http://666kb.com/i/cn02r1k51lja44fqu.jpg ... of course the final map needs more work, this is just a quick and dirty edit to show you the difference. 2nd image = one big uv map, the texture is displayed in one piece all over the blade - not splitted up in many different pieces like in your current map.

I guess i don't even have to test it ingame because your UV MAP layout looks pretty messy: http://666kb.com/i/cn01yqe9vzi8lk3p2.jpg ... when you look on the zoomed in image: There are downsized faces inside other faces, the uv map is blown up to many many pieces, the orientation of these pieces is out of order. Compare it to a vanilla blade/UV Map - one big clean piece, there is plenty space to project the texture - this is how it should look like. So i think you should learn a bit 'bout UV mapping, i'm using different software but you should find fitting tutorials via youtube/google.

  9. First i would check if UV SCALE is set to 1 on X and Y (if you set it to lets say 10 on both the texture would spam 10x10 times over the mesh). Second thing to do is to check if you UV map is still working...if the layout is displayed correctly in the UV map window everything should be fine. http://666kb.com/i/cn00mb1ba4lk1ysae.jpg ... and there are plenty other possible sources for such an error. So the best thing to do is to upload the .nif.

  13. Should the alpha channel exist in both files? The alpha channels have a different purposes in each map. The diffuse map alpha channel determines transparency and the normal map alpha channel, aka specular map, defines the object's shininess. But I am still not sure if the diffuse map has to have its separate alpha channel as well. I'm using Photoshop myself so i have no clue how to handle that in Gimp, but the issue is...your alpha channel is empty/white. http://666kb.com/i/cmwrknaakt3qhnx91.jpg Normally the .dds contains the texture itself (aka diffuse map with colors, details and so on in the RGB channel) and the alpha channel defines the areas that will be invisible ingame. Normally it should look like this (i blended out RGB channel, that's just the alpha channel), and the white space replaced with greyscale tones if you want the dress to be semi-transparent. http://666kb.com/i/cmwrxqt0bbqc4edqt.jpg http://www.firedrive.com/file/CFBB064F3E70F2E4 Black = invisible, white = visible ... your alpha channel is simply white, means everything of the diffuse map will be visible. As mentioned before i'm using PS so i won't check that tutorial. In PS i could now simply access the alpha channel and paint it by hand or copy/paste a black/white version of my texture...whatever, that's your problem.

Will upload it soon without the script...just have to celebrate my birthday this weekend first (guess who has to cook the whole sh*t for the family party), will do it straight afterwards. This week will be the last i'm around this board on a regular basis so i have to upload it early enough for possible troubleshooting. I'm on further training from April-July and i'll work in a night shelter for the homeless besides - that's the main reason for the upcoming (delayed) modding break. greetings
  16. I'll send you the mod download link via PM - that's pretty much the final version, the only difference to the Nexus version could be the script (that you don't need) if i ever manage to fix it. I explained in post #35 how to retrieve the weapons. greetings
  17. Script still not working...too much to do in RL right now. Maybe i should release it without script and add it later IF i ever manage to get it to work / find the time. The other option would be to wait a few more weeks to release the mod because right now i have plenty to do in RL and this damn issue really kills my motivation. I mean the whole rest of the mod is done.

Well, it's hard to explain my problem because english is not my native language. When you say "censorship is for f@&#!ts" aka "xxx is for yyy" you normally mean that something bad (like censorship) is something for idiots, just replacing the "idiots" with any other group you dislike. f@&#!try is a negative term that reffers to gay people. I'm really no starry-eyed political correct idealist, but hell it's 2014, i really don't want to see statements like that on a modding board - and that has got nothing to do what you or i believe, that's just a matter of fact. Of course you will call that censorship as well, but in my opinion there is something like a line that sane people just shouldn't cross in public. Whatever, there is no purpose to continue that stuff, just a waste of time and words so I'm out of the thread.

  20. I'm not making fuss about "this"...i don't care for the Nazi stuff. I like the design myself but not the sybolism and the history MOST people connect with it- but since it's permitted in most countries on this planet AND the site owner is okay with it there won't be anyone that stops you, so be my guest. You know, most people that want Nazi stuff want it because they are dump facicsts. Not all of course, some want it because of the design/style (like me) so i'm sure it's okay with you IF (!) someone picks up the request to replace the symbol. BUT I'm sure you are one of these that are just historical correct people that want the best of both worlds, symbol AND design! :wink: ...but I'm no fan of the f@&#!t comment. You know, that's stuff the first group of people i mentioned above would say. And btw i even gave a tipp how to find such a sword (and tbh i think that's the best you might get in this thread, there are not many active modders around, especially ones that model stuff) so yeah...

  23. Nah, other stuff...Auriel's Bow uses a script for its sun effects when you shoot with Sunhallowed/Bloodcursed Elven Arrrows at the sun. And duplicating the script, changing values to my Crossbow/Bolts won't work - i only have basic knowledge of scripting, possibly i find the error but i'm sure more advanced scripters would find it 100 times faster.
