  1. I don't blame Sony, why would they want to sign up for the fuster of clucks that XBone had with mods? Considering how badly Bethesda screwed up the whole mess I'm not surprised they ran the other way. I did the same thing.
  2. If I had known making goofy noises into a microphone was going to be such a competitive entry, I would have put my gassiness a couple of weeks ago to good use. Considering how s#*! everything related to Bethesda has been since the launch of FO4 it would've been appropriate too...
  3. On the upside, all I have to do is wander around a bit and all my settlers will get 5 or 6 complete sets of different armor, weapons, and ammo spawned into their inventory to go along with a face and body change. I predict Bethesda will fix this within a few months of them fixing BethesdaBay.. BAWHAWHAWHAW - I ain't holdin' my breath. Better solution: uninstall Screwthesda's games and move on to something else.
  4. Good Lord. Y'know, we could save many pages and much bandwidth for poor ol' Dark0ne by limiting posts to the things Bethesda HAS gotten right.
  5. But...but...we'll get a new generation of modders to replace him right? Right? Right?!?
  6. They do, but if a mod author so much as mentions it he/she can be banned. Policy changed on that btw check the TOS  I think asking for selfies is still verboten, though :D
  7. I'm running an Asus ROG G750-JH. It runs FO4 at a consistent ~45 FPS with some settings at high and some settings at ultra. I've no problems with texture mods either. This laptop has also proven to be quite durable, it's been bouncing around in my big truck for a couple of years now with no trouble at all.
  8. It's good, we surely all get to take a turn in that particular barrel. Thanks for helping to clear up my confusion.
  9. y'know... Seriously? Linmor posted it 2 posts abouve my reply and I quoted it and said it was the mod indeed. Incase you are using a 747 inch monitor: The mod in question y'know...seriously...that mod just adds some console commands to a bat file. A bit different from ini lines (unless I'm badly misinformed on how ini files work for FO4). The .ini tweaks in question are to allow the .BAT files to apply from startup each time you load the game. But you'd know that if you read the whole mod description. Apparently you didn't understand my original question. Here's a link to my original post in this thread. Now, just to repeat the question again: What three ini lines are required to achieve this without the need for a batch file? Console commands are NOT ini entries. If there are no such ini entries then Kamuchi's original post was misleading. It`s a text file with 3 lines in it, if you would ONLY have botherd to even look at the damn zip! 1. Download mod 2. Extract mod 3. Have an epiphany that it is a text file (hint: .txt extention) 4. Open fallout4prefs.ini 5. Copy & paste 6. Endorse Want a manual with that? Oh... All right. I will try to to use SMALL words for you since you insist on being insulting. I did in fact download and look at those text files. Since when does "gr quality 3" work as an ini entry? That's the format of a command entered into the in-game command console, not as a line in an ini file. You're saying that FO4's in files now accept command console entries? I asked this already in this thread as well and was not answered with anything but insults. Every single entry in an ini file has as it's first letter something that indicates a variable type, and they are sorted into groups. "gr quality 3" in no way matches the format of any line in an ini. For example, here is my Fallout4Prefs.ini I've only been asking (politely, mind you) for clarification. EDIT: BTW, I fully understand that adding the line "sStartingConsoleCommand=bat godrays" will automatically execute the batch file. Your original post implied that adding ini entries would bypass the need for a batch file altogether. Do you understand me now?

  12. Well, don't put yourselves out by posting the info or a link y'know....
  13. In response to post #39675940. #39677215, #39679030, #39680875, #39683735, #39684460, #39688180 are all replies on the same post. I suspect it's more Pete Hines than Todd Howard (not excusing Howard in any way, mind you).
  14. The most absolutely hilarious thing about people posting Patreon links on BethesdaBay is that Bethesda THEMSELVES have prohibited sites like the Nexus here from allowing mod authors to prohibit Patreon accounts.
  15. Hold on, is the term "God Howard" actually used in a non-derogatory fashion by some people? I always thought people called him "God Howard" because, you know, if there is a God, he clearly doesn't give a damn about what he created, and is laughing at how we are tearing each other to pieces, while he just gets worshiped blindly, and grows more powerful, despite having creating an utterly flawed product that he abandoned the second after it was built. I'M the only God Howard I know (my first name really is Howard).
  16. I like this better...but the OP's link is pretty good!
  17. There is a way now. If a mod author ports their mod they can put a link to the console version(s) on bethesdabay in the Mirrors tab I didn't realize that, thanks for the info Im having a hard time finding the tab your talking about. Prob just me overlooking it though Bear in mind that the Mirrors tab will only show if there are actually any mirrors listed to begin with. It's on the row with the DESC, FILES, etc.

  19. Overwatch on B.Net. Not B.Net own by Blizzard, B.Net owned by Bethesda. Go Sue. Will that work? No because I tried to tell them about this BUT. I made the mistake of using WORDS! Words hurt there brain which is why you only get 185 char to speak with!!!! You need to think more like a caveman, or if you wanna go more simplistic, think like the mod thieves. Like Yur mod, bet site. thief bad, you sad? Or just write a ton theft reports in haiku form, then once you've gathered enough, make a book out of it and see how many copies you can sell... I vote for olde english, and read aloud by a Shakespearean trained actor... ...forsooth.
  20. I am so completely hoping more mod thieves start uploading stuff to bethesdabay containing assets ripped from other games. Beth may not give a flying turd about us but I bet they have no taste for other AAA studios coming after them. You guys DO realize the most likely reason they're implementing Steam cross-linking is because it occurred to them that people were torrenting FO4 to upload stolen mods, right?
  21. This very thing got me as well. It caused a simple esp to get bloated to over 200MB for a PS4 port.
  22. It doesn't matter that it was faked. What matters is that it (hopefully) got some people thinking. Just because it was faked by DD doesn't mean it won't be a real thing by someone who really DOES want to do some damage.
