  1. Need more details to be honest. A list of all your installed mods and load order, what mod manager are you using? From your short description it sounds like you installed a mod that requires hair's from another mod that isn't present or is installed wrong.
  2. Once you have a horse and finished the 'tutorial' quest any new horse you buy, steal or acquire by any other means will also have the new features of convenient horses. Also works with modded horses such as Emfy for example.
  3. Check out S.E.P.T.I.M on SSE mod page. Its very comprehensive guide and while it might have some out of date mods now listed it still works really well. Its relatively easy to setup and comes with some great mod options for all systems. I used it my self as a basis for my modded setup until I re formatted my PC last month. When I say it works great on most systems I have a potato PC with a leak video card an a carrot CPU so I know it works good. Good luck and happy modding. Also if you take a look at how he builds up the load order you'll see how things install. Best advice I can give is take it slowly. TEST TEST TEST add copious use of LOOT and make sure you clean them masters.
  4. Seems its been abit sickly today. Glad I'm not only one with minor issues. IE works if I hit dl button a couple of times. Thought i'd set up NMM wrong It will let you D/l manually. MO also throwing me some hate today. Guess its one of them days.
  5. Its a part of SOT (Ultimate deadly encounters) but I also understand its a part of another mod on its own. Not sure on the latter, its defiantly in SOT though as I'm happily using the bow on my assassin test build.
  6. Ok i know its been a short while sinse OP posted but i ran into a similar problem other week while setting up a fresh install of Skyrim thru MO an testing as i went. Game would start. Id' wait an wait eventually getting so bored of waiting i ctrl alt tab out fire up task manager an close it from applications tab. It wasnt shutting down for some reason or another but i thought i had ended the process. I would then fire up MO an try again, it would start. I'd get past flash screens as skyrim started up. But would never get to the menu. Rinse an repeat. 5 times this happened. Each time i hadnt properly shut down skyrim in task manager. So i essentially had 5 copies of skyrim running at same time and things was getting pretty damn laggy. I eventually found the issue an my PC was relieved to not have too run skyrim 5 times all at same time poor thing never worked so damn hard in all its life. Wait for menu even if it takes a while heavily moded skyrim can cripple your system running it once. Try 5 times.... :ermm:
