  1. ^^^^^^^ This is the person who claims that other people are having trouble accepting reality. Fun question: If Bethesda wants modding to stop, why don't they just stop supporting it?
  2. You can't post copyrighted music in any mod unless there is a license to permit the use. The only difference between the two mods you describe is that one was apparently reported and the other wasn't. If The Underground 2 is distributing copyrighted music without a license you can kiss that mod goodbye.
  3. Yes, but likely the question was about what they had planned for next and whether they could keep the full studio employed and busy.
  4. If Bethesda goes under then modding if their games grinds to a halt. No Fallout London, no FO4 New Vegas, no Skyblivion, no Skywind. There is no other developer who comes even close to being as mod friendly as Bethesda.
  5. If you are a free user then every mod in the Collection will open up the website so that you can select the download option on the page. Only Premium subscribers have a fully automated install.
  6. Where are you getting this message?
  7. Bethesda's "community" are not good at understanding how small a part of the customer base they actually are.
  8. Did you confirm the archives are in your downloads folder? Maybe they got orphaned when the download folder got changed at some point?
  9. Another common answer is "just one more."
  10. You do understand that what you are experiencing is neither intended nor common for most users, right? Telling them to put in a toggle for something that's not supposed to be happening is not really helpful. Do you maybe have some log files showing what's happening?
  11. They released a video explaining their position. Aside from issues of confusion for players wanting to use the mod, two versions of the mod would be a burden on GOG who are generously offering to host the mod. It would also mean trying to maintain two versions, issuing updates for two versions, etc.
  12. The previous versions were outdated and hacked together. They were unsustainable.
  13. There are multiple ways of doing that, but Vortex is not designed to do that by default. Any reason why you're acting so hostile to a FIVE YEAR OLD comment thread?
  14. The traditional answer is "has your computer caught on fire yet?"
  15. I would have guessed a perceived slight directed towards introverts, actually. That was my reaction.
  16. It looks like there is a possible alternative in active development.
  17. The flaw, I think, is that you failed to account for introverts who use alcohol to lower inhibitions and socialize better but are not, in any way, alcoholics.
  18. First thing to be sure of: Once all your mods are enabled in Vortex and you start the game are you being careful NOT to open the in-game mod menu for any reason? In-game mod menu and Vortex are incompatible. Opening the in-game mod menu forcibly disables many mods installed and enabled through Vortex.
  19. Might need to redate the BSA files so that the new vanilla ones are older than your files?
  20. Everyone has the same extensions. What changes is which ones are hidden in the "bundled" section and which ones are currently visible.
