  1. LOL. No worries. The effect usually doesn't last more than a few seconds..... (at least, in my game) and zoxxing myself with a stim-pak usually makes it go away almost immediately.... Would that work for you?
  2. G. I. Joe??? :D
  3. Paralyze is HIGHLY efficient, but, rather costly. My personal favorite is Absorb Health, on a ring, with as large an area of effect as you can manage, and still have it drain sufficient health, that it will kill most things relatively quickly. You simply stroll thru the dungeon, and everything within range slowly (quickly?) dies. Take it off before you go into town though. :D
  4. Well, the effect isn't ALWAYS present. Sometimes the effect disappears. Also, 'xEdit'? Like Fallout 4 Edit? Yep, Fallout4 edit. May wanna post this in the Fallout 4 mod troubleshooting forum..... That's really where it belongs.
  5. Leave it to the dems to push everything well beyond reasonable limits....... So, here we have two extremes, the religious right, that would say no to abortion under ANY circumstances, up to and including the death of the mother, and now we have the dems wanting to allow abortion AFTER birth?????? I am REAL curious how they justify that one......
  6. That's gotta be a conflict somewhere. Post your load list? Are you familiar with xEdit? Could load up the mods you suspect with it, and see if anything interesting presents itself.
  7. That is a steam issue. I would see if you could get someone on the phone..... (though that is a pretty forlorn hope.) You can't play the game without steam. (legally) If you re-enter the code you got, does it want to re-download the whole game again?
  8. The vid card may *work* for minimalist purposes, but, when trying to access some of the 'higher' functions, it will choke, and die. If you can't convince the driver to install, even on a fresh install of windows..... something is seriously wrong.
  9. Welcome. :)
  10. Exactly. And that works both ways. Quite frankly, I am tired of the government legislating how I live my life. While I agree with them on some points, I do NOT agree with them on ALL points. Abortion is an INDIVIDUAL choice, and a lot goes into making that decision. Government should just stay the frack out of it. As it stands now, the republican party, (supposedly the 'pro-life' party) DEMANDS that if a woman gets pregnant, she carry to term, and deliver. But then, you are on your own. They don't care about you at all, after you are born.....
  11. This is good advice. :D
  12. Use file explore to drill down to the folder where TESV.exe is located. Find SKSE_Loader.exe in there, right-click and hold, and drag it to the desktop, when you release the mouse button, a menu will pop up, select 'create shortcut here'. Double click on the shortcut to start the game.
  13. Go to your documents folder, then, My Games\Skyrim. There will be a couple files listed there, ( with a .ini extension, if you have windows set to show them.....) delete them, start the game again, and let it re-detect your hardware. If you are crashing before you get to the main menu, that *may* fix it. If you are crashing when loading a save, can you start a NEW game?
  14. Given some of your symptoms, I would suspect that the video chipset itself took a dump.......
  15. Now THAT was an interesting read. :) Thank You. Getting Beth games to work under linux is challenging..... and I don't know of many that have actually managed it. Why not just have a windows partition to run games under..... I suspect that would be a LOT easier. Also, I don't think the script extender will work at all under wine.... but, not 100% sure on that. Welcome to Nexus. :D
  16. The problem with only cloning one directory is, you won't update the windows registry when you clone. So, all the utilities will be looking in the wrong place for the games. What he is suggesting is, if your new drive is larger, clone the entire existing drive to the new one..... According to theory, Steam does have the capability to be moved elsewhere on your computer. There should be some threads around here about that somewhere...... One last thought, will acronis clone a gpt file system? (windows 10 native install) Unless things have changed, I don't think it will..... I do believe that was the reason we went to Macrium Reflect. I KNOW it will do GPT file system, and its free for home use as well.
  17. Yeah, lets improve security by breaking ad-blockers, you know, the first line of defense against malicious ads, the favorite avenue for scammers these days....... Nice to know that this isn't anything that will be happening any time soon though.
  18. Do you have all the DLC as well? I don't see any of them in your load list...... And I suspect SEUE expects them to be there. Which would explain why it doesn't work.
  19. It was my understanding that Chrome was going to incorporate the ad-blocking features directly into the browser..... Which would be fine, if it works as well as Ublock does......
  20. There is a hard limit of 255 esp/esm files. Go beyond that, and the game will choke.
  21. Hhhmmm..... I hope I didn't pay too much for the memories I have now then...... Some of 'em just suck. :D
  22. Oh come on, why should he let something so incredibly insignificant as being wrong, stand in the way of a good rant? It's entertaining to read at least. :D What's funny is, the fact that he IS so wrong, and this is information that has been commonly known just this side of forever. I decided I might just as well go for 'supporter', and DOUBLE my download speed, (yes, I use an ad-blocker) and saw that for less than 2 bucks more, I could go premium for a month. (not that I have been doing a lot of downloading of late....) So, since Nexus has been providing me this wonderful service for so long, I thought I might just as well spend the extra couple bucks, just as a sort of 'Thank You'. :D
  23. The railroad bases their actions on the thought that synths are 'people'. Now, I wonder, how many 'people', have they actually memory wiped? Not referring to syths here, but, actual humans. So far as I know, it simply isn't possible to wipe a human brain, and then implant new memories. Thus, proving that syths are NOT people.
