It is not an issue with Windows 8. Skyrim and Win 8 are perfectly compatible. I have been playing and modding on my ROG laptop using Win 8 and there is no problem, if anything Skyrim is more stable because of how Win 8 allocates resources. If you are experiencing crashes and freezes, it is more likely mod related than anything else. Verify your cache on Steam. See if you need to update some of your mods. Run BOSS. Turn on Papyrus logging. Something is causing your problem, you just need to do a little detective work but, it has nothing to do with Windows 8. BTW. I hate Windows 8 but use it so I can keep up with the latest software.

Sorry, I have never had any interaction with 90% of your mods. I have no clue about what might be causing the problem. If the lip tint mask is your only problem running all those mods, you may just have to go with what you have.

Any saves using UFO are probably not salvageable. If you followed the directions for uninstalling UFO it might have been ok but, if you couldn't dismiss the followers first, then the scripts will persist. If you cannot force follow with AFT then there is nothing to do but start a new game. At this time UFO is not recommended and AFT or EFF are both updated and are better options. I am sure this isn't the answer you were hoping for, sorry.

My son used NMM with Vista until this summer when I bought him a Win 8 upgrade. NMM and Skyrim both run fine with Vista.

You can never save too often. If you feel your save file filling up, back up your older saves and do some winnowing. Never totally rely on autosaves, nothing beats a manually save that you can revert to if you run into a corrupted save.

Search nexus or google it. It will give you a load order for the mods it knows as well as information about problems and their solutions.

I would reinstall Skyrim under Windows 8 if you haven't already. Or at least verify your Steam cache. Actually, (and I run my mod testing system under Win 7) I find Skyrim more stable under Windows 8 and I was one of the big Win 8 haters during RT testing.

Not me. Raising ugrids can and will cause problems that really aren't necessary for a good experience.

I installed mine in a separate directory. c:\games\Nexus Mod Manager\Skyrim\Mods. Wherever you installed them be sure that they go back the same way.

UFO is very out of date and heavily script dependant. You need to follow the directions on the mod page to uninstall UFO, then install one of the other follower mods. I recommend Amazing Follower Tweaks but Extensible Follower Framework works just as well. One caveat, no matter if you uninstall UFO, your save games will be full of loose scripts and may never work properly. Starting a new game may be your only recourse.

We need a push to get more female VA's. Not knocking all the male voices but, the lack of female voice actors is really a problem.

Perhaps I did state the objective wrong. What I want or wanted was a team to develop a mod. Not my mod but a team mod. I was especially trying to invite those new to the modding process to give them both experience and recognition. I have already made the main NPC (Loraine) and have scripted the quests. My goal was simply to give those new or starting out a way to learn and gain experience along the way. If I wrote the description wrong that is on me. Still, if someone wants to be part of a team effort and gain experience this is a good chance. I will say though, that perspective is everything. Never, in any mod I have done, did I fail to give recognition to those who contributed. So, since my effort has been misconstrued, I simply say that was not my intention.
