  1. The fey'ri rolled her red eyes, following Aedan as her boots echoed the room they were in. "I'm pretty sure she went this way..." the sorceres muttered more for herself than for the Fallen and went the way Ravenna had gone not long before, unconcerned whether the Fallen is following or not. Her interest in him has cooled down a bit and even slightly began to annoy Sefris, which - let us be honest - was an easy thing to do. She was always looking for new things, always for something that would occupy her mind for more than 10 minutes, often going from hot to cold within seconds. There's never an easy way to please a demon, after all.
  2. The red-haired elf did not comment nor listen to the 'guys'" conversation, looking at the dwarf. She had seen that little race only a few times and the first one less than a week ago. When she was a kid, Alaila thought they are simply children. And the clan, pf course avoided everyone whenever possible. The mage look at the Dalish Warden, holding her staff close to her chest. "Are we ready to set off, then? I, as well as others I believe, am anxious to leave this city at last." she said to the Dalish woman slowly, in her indifferent and slow voice. "Do we have everything we need?"
  3. Alaila lightly smirked at Jadaco's reply, holding her bag as she stood in front of the dwarven statue. "Indee-" she immediately closed her mouth when an elven stranger approached, looking at him with her blue eyes. She's...seen him once before. The elf Jadaco helped when he was fighting some thugs. He also wanted to join the expedition? Hmmm. So many people...she didn't want for this to turn in a horde, but at least they'll have more allies when fighting darkspawn. Now that was a part she most certainly would not like the most. The red-haired elf turned her back to the rest, letting the Warden do all the talking as she was casually examining people who passed by, alert for any signs or templars. She was itching to leave the town already, but was patient enough to hide it. After all, they can't just rush in the Deep Roads without a plan and unprepared. That would be plainly stupid.
  4. "I'll second that." she added quietly to Cyhran's statement. It's been too long since she ran throught the trees with other wolves or flown high in the sky, where you thought the sun could reach your feathers any moment. Cities full of people felt like cages to her, shackles that kept her imprisoned while her soul and her whole being desired to roam the wilds with no one following her. It was a beautiful feeling she wouldn't give up for anything in the world. Because if you leave something that is a part of you behind, a part of your very own soul...who are you actually? "Oh...You humans sure have some odd surnames..." the elf muttered to the pirate, adjusting the hood on her face. "As for your second question, no, I have not. I've alway avoided areas they could be occupying, so I haven't had any encounters with them. But a monster's a monster and they can't be much more different than anything I've faced before. Well, except for the toxic blood." The red-haired elf stared at the huge dwarven statue, her mouth slightly opened in awe. She's never been to this part of the town and it looked so different from anything she's ever seen. Perhaps places like this weren't as bad as the Alienage, but she could bet backstabbing deceit and runs most of the politics here.
  5. I enjoy reading such massive posts and Wind sure sounds like an interesting character :3 Some interesting things are sure to happen with him around
  6. Alaila lowered her head after Jadaco and Isabela answered, just to raise it back up only a few seconds later. Alright, talking isn't scary. You can do it. "A...bird had a mabari?" she asked the pirate, thinking she didn't understand one of the shem's words. "I've heard of them," the mage said to Jadaco, "but I have not seen one until now. I am, erm...not around here, to be honest."
  7. Alaila looked at Jadaco for a second, remembering how he wanted to 'save' her even if she was in no real danger....at least that's what she thought. In a way, the elf felt like she owed him and she liked to keep her bills clean. And that pirate, no matter how disturbing Alaila found the fact that the woman wore no pants. What the hell did she do in winter? Also, would it kill her to at least try to be nice to the others? She's going to be stuck with them for quite a while now. "Your companion..." she looked at Jadaco, her voice quiet, "He's a mabari, isn't he?" Well....all the future conversations will just reek of awkward. Brilliant.
  8. Sefris finished wiping off the blood of her face with a handkerchief and turned to look at the Fallen, her eyebrow raised. "Do not tell me you are squeamish, Aedan dear. You didn't really think having a demon as one of your parents affects only one's eye color, did you? We do enjoy being such sadists~" she said with a chuckle, leaning on her spear that was still dirty with blood. "Now, are we off to kill some more or do you intend to keep looking at me like that?"
  9. Alaila had no reason to stay at the inn so she followed the Warden, Thomas, Jadaco and Isabela out, leaning on the wall as soon as they were outside. A wooden staff in her hand and a backpack on her back, she not had nor needed anything more. The letter she had found earlier was tucked in the bag she was carrying, safe from prying eyes and Templars. The mage hoped they'll leave the town as soon as possible, but they still needed to get to the merchant's quarters. Idea didn't really appeal to the mage, but the Warden was leading and she had no intention of arguing with her. Gods forbid. The ending of that would be catastrophical. For the mage, of course. Having been in the town for so long, Alaila could barely wait to catch some time alone in the forest and fly around for a while. Nothing relaxed her more than that.
  10. Of course! We can't have a normal trip, that would be boring  And I like the idea, it will keep the players on their toes :3
  11. Alaila has been watching the whole fight, not wanting to participate because a) she would use her magic and expose herself, consequence of that being dragged away to the Circle, b) she would attempt to use melee attacks and get her ass kicked. The man that accused that pirate woman of doing something to her, on the other hand, quickly jumped to help the elf, along with his faithful Mabari. Dispite the fact she did not really trust any of them, Jadaco seemed like a good enough man to her, ready to help everyone in trouble. But just because she thinks that he is a good man doesn't mean she'd tell him everything about her just if he asked. She'll simply feel a bit better in his company than in the company of the others, except for Thomas. The elf also noticed that the man those brutes were attacking was an elf, but certainly not from around here judging from his accent. Not to mention he was skilled as a fighter from the shadows, making Alaila wonder just who really are the other people she's traveling with. Thomas was a mage, that much she knew, The Warden a fighter - though she did not know whether a one like the new black-haired elf or like the Qunari -, that strange woman that had been listening in to them one from the shadows and that was about it. She needed to keep a closer eye on all of them; after all, how can she be sure none of them were actually disguised Templars? One think Alaila would never understand is how the elf and Jadaco seemed friendly already, despite the fact they've known each other not longer for less than a minutes. The red-haired mage looked back to the Warden and the rest of them, hoping they could get moving as soon as possible, before - knowing her luck - Templars show up again. Or was it the guards who dealt with fights like this? She wasn't sure.
  12. Don't worry, you're not ruining anything - we're simply waiting for everyone to gather at the Hanged Man so we could advance the plot, that is, start the Deep Roads expedition. Since everybody has gathered, you can choose to join the expedition or not, the later one giving you an option to RP your own plot as you please  I like the idea about Crimson Oars and, after all, everybody has something from their past chasing them :3 So if Naktis has nothing against, you're free to make them pop up whenever you wish, deepining the plot you had in your mind
  13. Closing the door behind her, Alaila waited for a minute or to to make sure nobody was following her, taking a deep breath afterwards. Good. Half way out of this bloody town. The elf took off her hood, looking around the old dusty house. It was the same as the last 6 times she went it. Everything covered with a layer of dust except for places she walked around, decrepit furniture - that little that was there - and a single room beside the one she was in. Red-haired woman slowly started to walk around the dwelling again, her bright blue eyes examining everything around her. There wasn't a single piece of paper she hadn't looked at, not a single object she hadn't turned upside down and back again or moved and still all that awaited her was one big, empty nothing. Alaila walked in the sleeping room where she used to rest with her mother, looking around with a sigh. "Inan...vhenan'ara" she said to the dust and memories only dwelling here, sitting down on a old, haggard bed that was split into two parts. The dust that arose when the elf fell on it made her cough, trying to find a stop of the old thing that wasn't so dusty. The bed creaked was creaking the whole time, but what caught her attention is that when she moved to a certain spot - where she used to sleep - there was silence. Which was completely ridiculous, considering her spot was the worst of the whole bed - which she often used to entertain herself and drive her mother crazy. Kneeling beside the bed, the elf took out her dagger and cut its side that was facing the ground. Shortly after she lay down on the ground and dragged her head under the bed, looking at its insides. "Ha!" Alaila came back up holding a piece of paper with something written on it, coughing dust before she read it. Aquila, I've heard what happened to your daughter and it's a tragedy, but there is still hope. She may have reached the Dalish after all! Do not despair, my friend, but have faith. I am sure Alaila is going to be alright. And if you're ever in need of help, deep, deep, down you go. Atrast nal tunsha. Signed, Reiora The elf could feel her heart beating faster with every word she read, gripping the piece of paper tightly. It was a letter for her mother from a dwarven friend of hers and it was over 10 years old, somewhere around the time Alaila was sent to the Dalish. Her mother knew! She knew Alaila would come back eventually and this was her way of telling her where she was. It must have been! Why would she hide the letter otherwise? Wiping off some dust from her face, Alaila tucked the letter in her bag and quickly left the house, looking around one last time. Whatever happened, the woman knew she wouldn't return here. Around 20 minutes after she left the tavern, the mage walked in again, walking over to Thomas and the rest of the people. Seemed like everybody was there and that pirate woman from yesterday was with them, too. Isabela earned a distrustful glance from Alaila, but the elf said nothing. "Are we going?" she asked the group, holding her staff tightly, "I am itching to get away from this town as possible." While she spoke, an old song her mother used to sing to her was spinning in her mind. Down, down, down we go....into the depths of the unknown...down, down, down we go...
  14. Alaila walked out of the stinking inn - as she referred to it - and breathed in the city air. It wasn't much better outside, but at least there was no...wait, it almost was the same. Only here you can actually see the sun. Holding her hood on, the elf was quickly walking towards the Alienage, not wanting to leave the town until she checked something. She could scarcely believe her mother left without even leaving a note. Even though she didn't find anything the first 27 times she searched the whole house, the mage wanted to be sure. Completely sure. She didn't see Cyhran leaving the tavern as well, almost completely disappearing behind a corner when he went out. It was still pretty early and she didn't see much people except for elven that were beginning with their work, but they payed no attention to some random elf in the Alienage. The red-haired elf stopped to look around for a few minutes before an old house that looked like no one lived in, waiting for a moment when nobody of the elves were paying attention to her and went in. To those quick enough, an edge of her cloak could be spotted before the doors closed and the woman disappeared within the old dwelling.
  15. Tis always great to see new people  Welcome aboard! :pirate:
  16. "You've got it~" the sorceress replied to the witch as another guard rushed to kill the monster that had so horribly ended the life of his comrade. "Yes, play" she smirked to Aedan, giving the earlier mentioned guard a chance to scratch the demoness, lightly cutting her shoulder. Sefris stood completely still, as if she had not even noticed the injury, dipping a finger in her blood and bringing it to her lips. "Hmmm...Wish to kill increased." before the man had another chance to attack, he was already set to fire with Sefris' combust, making the red-eyed woman chuckle when he threw himself on the ground, rolling in agony. "That's what you get when you think you're better than me." she added coldly, finishing the man off by stabbing his neck, blood splashing over most of her clothes and face. "Well...that was certainly fun. Want to find more?" Sefris turned to the Fallen with a smirk on her lips as she licked the blood off of her face.
  17. Alaila had been watching as everyone slowly gathered, not saying a word even when Thomas called her a 'red-haired' elf, simply being a shadow. The elf didn't offer an answer when asked about her fighting style, either. She's a mage - primal, if they wanted the details, but her shape-shifting she will keep for herself. At least for now. "If you'll excuse me," she started after a few minutes, putting her hood on as she held her bag with one hand and her staff with the other, "I shall return shortly. I must....fetch something." The woman simply nodded to everybody in the small gesture of greeting and walked out of the tavern, soon disappearing in the mass of the people in Lowtown.
  18. The demoness chuckled when the guards attempted to attack them, already holding her spear. Bending her knees to be closer to the ground, Sefris tripped one of the savages with her spear, making the man fall down screaming something. Laughing as she spun around herself, her red eyes followed man's every movement, sparks lingering on her fingers. "Let's make this a bit more interesting, shall we~?" a purring sound came out of the red lips, her words as sweet as they were poisonous. To her, this battle was more of a dance, nothing more than a mean to entertain herself. The man tried to charge at Sefris, but a spell was holding him in place before he even made two steps. "Bigby was always my favourite." she said quietly, stabbing the paralyzed man in the chest. Not a second later great, white fangs were shown as the sorceress tore out the man's throat, stopping the scream that would have, no doubt, echo the night after the man had seen the woman before him in the moments before she killed. His eyes were left open to reveal the terror after his body quietly fell on the ground. Licking the blood around her lips, Sefris turned to look at what the witch and the Fallen were doing. "I am starting to like this fort already....So many people to play with."
  19. The demoness was smirking, little fire sparks already flying from her fingertips as she followed the witch. "Oh, trust me, you'll see what the women are for~" the sorceress chirped, throwing a quick glance at the Fallen behind her. "Luckily not on me this time..."
  20. Alaila had spent most of the night awake, too paranoid to sleep. Someone could have walked in on her and drag her off to the Circle with no warning or anything else. That wouldn't be good. As soon as the dawn broke, she grabbed her staff and went down the stairs, looking around. With a quick wave to the Dalish Warden and the white-haired mage, she approached the table they were sitting at and subtly nodded. "Morning. It seems I will, erm...be joining you on your expedition, Warden." she said after a long pause, not really liking the decision. But then again, what else did she have? Nothing. And she needed money if she was to search for her mother.
  21. Seeing that the RP has been a bit slow lately, if you don't know what to write anymore, we can FF to the morning, when the whole new day and new troubles start
  22. Turian sighed at the human's over-eagerness to pull out specific bones while the victim is still alive, but he was slowly getting used to it. "I'll be in the shadows." he said and turned on his tactical cloak, disappearing in the shadows. "Au revoir." the girl waved her hand and looked around, grinning. The guards could be easily dispatched and then proceed further up to the leader. They could just go around them, but what's the fun in that? After all, the asari did say too get rid of all the mercenaries. And that was exactly what Jacque's going to do. The biotic successfully sneaked behind the guards, standing a few steps behind them with her M-12 Locust ready. Quietly, she sent one of the guards flying up with throw, giving her just enough time to shoot the other one which was quite taken with his friend suddenly learning how to fly. The girl waited to see the flying guard land on the ground, his brain spilling on concrete in a rather unpleasant view. "Comme prendre des bonbons d'un bébé..." she muttered before smiling and running in the base with cloaked Jared that was few meters in front of her - not that she knew where he was standing, of course.
  23. Sefris bend her neck firstly to left and then to the right side, her alter self slowly fading when she looked up again. No reason to wear that silly mask when she's in the middle of nowhere. Still, her wings didn't appear, the half-demoness concluding it wouldn't be comfortable to go in until she knows just how wide the walls are. Getting stuck would suck. "Ah, perhaps we'll have some fun, then~" the sorceress said with a smirk, casting a protection from arrows spell just in case. As much as she liked charging on, stupidity and recklessness wasn't an option.
  24. Sefris only nodded at Ravenna's reply, not paying much attention to the conversation. She didn't sleep very well and was exhausted, not really liking travelling by a carriage, but she was too tired to fly the whole way. As soon as they arrived the sorceress jumped out of the carriage, landing on the solid ground. Now that's what she prefers. Except for the sky, of course. Or something dark. "I'm afraid I'll have to second Aedan's question. What are we doing here, again?" she asked the witch, her eyebrow slightly raised in question.
  25. Jacqueline was walking down the streets of Omega with the turian behind her, the other one keeping an eye on everything that moved. The human girl, on the other hand, was pissed and looked like she will send someone flying every second. "Who the hell does that *censored* thinks she is?" the girl hissed, turning to look at the turian for a second, who only shrugged, used to the girl's tantrums. "'I have dozens of lackeys like you'" she imitated the asari's voice, throwing her hands in the air in frustration. "Jacque, you knew getting information from that crimelord wouldn't be easy. Why are you rising such a fuss about it?" Jared was walking next to the human biotic, rolling his eyes when the girl wasn't looking. "Because she treated me like a brat! I'm tired of everyone treating me like a child until the moment I bash someone's head. f***ing idiots." The turian restrained himself from smacking the girl just this one time, putting a hand on his shoulder. Jacqueline tried to shake him off at first, but calmed down later. "Come on, don't worry about that now. We've got a job to do. You do want that information, no?" the girl was silent, but nodded. "Yeah, fine, whatever." as her stormy eyes were searching their surroundings, she spotted a member of the band they were about to kill, turning to the turian with excitement in her eyes. "Time to kill?" Turian looked at the man Jacque pointed to, tilting his head. "You know I prefer stealth. We infiltrate them and take them out from the inside." "Well, that sounds even more fun that bashing them in the middle of a street. I do prefer to tear out their spine from behind~" she said merrily, walking towards the man.
