  1. What is ETA on this mod? Idk how long Modern Firearms took to make but this is obviously going to be much higher quality. I actually thought this mod was just a curation of other modders work and building a big variety of guns into one mod with permissions, But Idk, seems you are making them all yourself? I don't follow this thread but it pops up often and I have a quick read. Hope it might come soon. I mainly keep visiting here because I enjoy messing around with mods, not really playing the game much, but I would like to eventually have one final playthru. I have never even visited the DLC worlds yet. lol. A question for this ambitious mod of weapon collections; Do you plan to include Worn and damaged varieties like Horizon does? and instead of simply reduced damage for a damaged rifle, will you be introducing weapon jamming or at least increased bullet spread etc.
  2. I was fairly sure Grass meshes were not part of a precombined and even if they were, Texture only changes should show up. I made a new texture, taken From True Grass for Blasted Forest Twigs, just experimental, but so far can't seem to test it. I Use Boston Natural Surroundings and it has an Esp tab called Landscape texture and is some of those Blasted forest Twig entries removed. So I made a patch and created my own Landscape Textures to experiment. But all that is showing is the BNS grasses. In some areas, there is blasted twigs but they are vanilla texture.. I heard there is a limit to landscape textures, but I thought it was 15? or is it just 5? I know you can get black squares or something if too many? All texture files are within BNS, including the borrowed texture files from True Grass. I do this just to save esp slots. This head is surprisingly kinda too small for DogMeat. Bethesda have weird ideas about ratios. But yea I think I'd prefer these as enemy wolves If I can figure out the texture than do a few different colours
  4. I been seein a lot of nice retextures of Dogmeat this week and I have always wanted a wolf companion, just Because it seem cool. I don't really like the far harbour wolves.. like at all! eww.. So I combined the meshes for a mash up. Texture Still needs to be matched better (where it is actually grey, but I think it looks ok. Probably would be better as Enemy would coz you don't look at those too closely, and imo, this looks better than FH wolves but yeah, everything is big and ugly because...radiation. So, I ran into the first problem inside nifskope, the body (parts that are not grey) seem to not want to change texture I tried editing the material file and texture set in nifskope and in game it remains default texture. Next is Wolf Head, it uses all the same bones as Dogmeat So I was able to easily copy it into the nif and remove the body in outfit studio. I also removed all the segments other than head and the ssf files for wolf. I would have thought A simple mesh replacer would do or do I need to edit Armor/armor addons in n esp for dogmeats body and head parts? I had deleted the original head from the mesh but when loading game, its just normal dogmeat with some grey patches. So that kinda seems like something is overwritting the nif and its contents? If there was a problem with the wolfhead I woulda assumed dodmeat would just have an invisible head.. https://imgur.com/Bg5Fv4V I know someone made at least one Wolf Dogmeat, But the one I found had very large ears and oddly places teeth. I am open to suggestions of other decent wolf mods that look semi realistic :smile:
  5. I have tried this and only ever get one Atlas texture but it seems rest of BTO lod objects not found on atlas are just UV mapped to loose LOD texture files? Is this any way going to affect performance? I am guessing the most important thing is the meshes are combined right?
  6. Any talented 3D artists willing to make Low poly LoD meshes of the Blasted Forest Fungal trees? there is only 3 types and they are really quite nice models. If you add a green texture to them like found in BNS they look really great. But no LOD for them exists. I only know how to do decimate in blender and that usually changes edges of shapes like trees too much before they get to a performance friendly triangle count. Roundish trees are ok but these ones have very defines edge and shape.
  7. I'm confused, you want the texture of just the billboard? because you are talking a lot about poses and your character is posing.. Is this your own screenshot? Thing about texture files is often they are not that big. I am not sure how people upscale them but its probably a combination of software and touch up.   8. I have this issue that I have seen in my game many times before. It seemed to become very bad when using mods like Gas masks of the Wasteland while using the Mask overlay when a mask was equipped.. But Then it would also happen randomly without the masks. I see it mostly on weather types like dust and fog. This weather was just regular unmodded rain. Its not quite night time in the vid but it looks so dark because xbox gamebar for pc just makes bad quality captures. Still, you can see the issue happening. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ijQL9iFZF0 I had something similar but a while back but it was like a negative version of the screen image, mostly white, I read turning off wetness with ini can help but for me, that didn't work and didn't go away until I did a new install of the game. It wasn't constant but was very frequent. This is not as bad but still annoying, anyone know of a fix or a reason it happens? PS, the bad frame rate is coz I am experimenting with LOD gen atm.
  9. And I installed a large amount of CBBE's Hentai Outfit even though I haven't met Shaun yet lol But yes, A lot of work and needs to be done for each outfit. I made a zombie mod Using Outfit studio and there is just too many meshes to even want to convert but Dismemberment would be cool for that mod.
  10. have you tried using the Roll back method using Steam Console, Since you say it only started after last CK/game update? Search Google "Roll back Fallout 4 Steam Console" and you should find how to do this. How does CK even update? does that happen everytime the game updates? Or, when you uninstall and Download it again is there any options for previous version to download? Idk what MM you are using or where CK keeps its esp files but probably best to back it up and just paste a copy in another folder somewhere first. Another thing you could try is to uninstal it then uninstal/remove the Bethesda.net launcher. The Go to Users>UserName>AppData>Local and delete the Bethesda.net Launcher found there to just remove any saved user settings or cache stuff etc. (although.. There might be some error logs found here that might be useful, idk just to look at and see if there is a consistently reported error, you could copy paste the log files somewhere else before deleting that folder I guess) Then try reinstall the Launcher and Ck.
  11. " been updating my game" From Steam? Maybe the mod no longer works with newest FO4 version, MCM, Script Extender. I had Nuclear Winter a while back and Accidentally updated game from steam, So I had to update SE and MCM but NW stopped working, even though it was very recent mod. I had to Roll everything back including the game version. There was a fair amount of comments about problems on the MCM page at the time of that update. I should have all been fixed by now though I would have thought, but who knows how recent the latest Creation Club update is? Has probably been another one since then.
  12. Is there any Mods that add NCR Faction to the commonwealth? I could probably just add to the NPC's wander mod and add or replace one faction to get some patrols, but I have no idea how to add radiant quests to at least one of them when you interact. I guess mostly bounty type missions would be best. I looked at the mod Gunners Initially Friendly to use as a base but it seems like it has a lot of bugs. I feel like just some dialogue from BOS radiant quests could be used, wouldn't have to be too specific. Anyway, If anyone knows of a mod like this pls link it :)

I can suggest My More feral ghouls mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/36653 You probably won't want all the Ghoul types but some are pretty ugly, some just look like normal NPC ghouls though. You could maybe take the vanilla Friendly ghoul texture and copy it and rename it to the human textures to make all humans look like ball sacks. Adding extra pus boils etc to textures is hard coz you don't want them all to look the same. Maybe easier to do stuff with grime layers? idk, never looked at those textures.   15. Thanks SKK. Yes, my issue is much more simple than Phantoms. I did try previously to have the script attached to the enc and hand place a few in worldspace that seemed to work ok. I was stumped on the LL tho. Thanks again.
  16. Hmm, I have a similar issue, mine is far more simple but Confusing to me because I can't understand how scripts work. lol. So, I added a script to an NPC that is inside a Lvl list. It was supposed to spawn with crippled limbs. Console spawning it works fine but when spawned from the lvl list the script doesn't work. So, I need to apply script to the lvl actor not the enc actor if I understand correctly? It was hard for me to test because I made the actor very rare.. but in hindsight I could have made it common while testing, didn't even think to do that. But I have seen now that it spawns and walks normally.
  17. I been recreating level 0, 1 and 2 lods for Boston natural Surroundings. I made some less bright textures as well as using different pine textures. I also made LOD meshes that worked better using two flat triShapes for custom trees. But this means having a front and side texture for each LOD mesh, instead of having the two textures in one DDS. I am aware I could make the front and side texture onto one dds and use UV map in nifskope to correctly line everything up. but, damn, took me a long time to create the Flat LODs I have. I really don't want to redo them. I used this method in this mod and it worked ok, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/36976 My question is, Can I use this method for the rest of BNS's custom trees to create the flat lods? it seems like the easiest way. I attempted to use a vanilla ElmForestLod mesh with billboards of the new elm forest trees but it is too small an cuts off the sides. I attempted to edit the to top 4 verticies to give it a cone shape and better accommodate the wider texture, but things just got warped and didn't line up with the original tree mesh when it was pasted into the LOD nif. Using the same method I used in my pine mod I could create an almost perfect Flat LOD mesh. My worry is that when using FO4LODGEN, will I run out of space if adding too many custom trees and making LODs for them? I think I read the terrain texture that holds all the Flat lods can be separated into two dds textures?

  19. oh ok. That would have been hard to make, cos I have looked at those meshes and there is nothing under clothing. Seems like a lot of work to end up deleting it. But Authors always have different reasons for doing things.
  20. Hmm. there is a mod that stops dogmeat from opening doors. but it was bad coz then dogmeat could not follow you into interiors. Might be worth checking out how it works and seeing if it can be converted from dogmeat to Powerarmor Race
  21. oh yea.. xlodgen also does Terrain. water is probs in terrain? I still have not looked at this. I hope you sort it Zorzak coz damn, those frozen rivers look nice. Edit. lol. reading above it is indeed nifs with applyable? (is that a word) LODS So yeah Applying correct Lod nifs in xedit and then using Xlodgen following instructions should give you something. just make sure you use it with no other fauna mods enabled. or.. make those mods requirement if you do. And yeah, terrain should be not selected if your ice rivers are objects. . that would overwrite Icepick overhaul terrains... Sry I kinda read this while typing drunk so edited it 3 times. probably best advice is to ignore me all together. lol
