Hello, Once upon a time I made a rather gigantic eye mod/mods for original Skyrim. Things happened, files disappeared, stuff was removed by myself... But. I know some of you may still use/have them. I am making a humble request to any kind souls out there who has them, to upload, share, link them here. I would also like them compatible with Skyrim special edition, if they are turned up. I give whomever has them, and is willing to share them, permission to upload them here, even make them good for SSE. People want them, but I do not have the files anymore. Please help if you have them. Thank you

Yes, it's possible. It's been a while since I touched anything modding tool related. But I remember something called NifSkope, using it to copy things over and blender. I hope that kinda points a direction to go head towards. Hopefully someone who still is creating with the tools can elaborate more for you.

Mostly dog related, working with them over the past few years has brought about a lot of changes in my life. Volunteering, training, boarding, kennel attending, day care, being a live in care taker. My main hobby is my dog Henry I guess you could say, I do everything for him, everything I do is for him. Daily adventures, hikes, walks, runs, playing, or just hanging out with him. Literally all my free time and energy is devoted to this dog of mine. Yes, I still collect obscure metal music, gothic, and electronic stuff. Play games, fish, draw, paint, do photography. But it's all really back seat, this dog is my world really. It's all about him, 24/7.

How is this still even a thing? Should it really be a thing at all? Would it not be better to let it lay quietly so the modding world and the ones modding can get back to normal, at least to some degree? The purity and fun of modding has been tainted because of all of this stuff. I think time out should be taken for things to heal up. At least a little. Seeing people cry about compensation for mods they made and worked on... what? Never have I ever made a mod with any sense of entitlement or dollar as a goal. Sure, and I can confirm this, time, emotion, passion, heart, love and more go into creating mods. But if one is serious about getting paid for making something for games, perhaps go to school and get a job in the industry? Making mods should be fun, for sharing with friends, making things more fun...just plain old fun in general, not crazy serious with dollar signs as a goal. Honestly this is saddening and painful to see and read. What happened to fun? Where did it go? Maybe we all should go and find it! I thought that is why we played games, and modded for them? Not for a hunger for donations or "paid modding"... Money should have no place in modding, at all. Ever. Period. It just dose not feel...right. I don't know. Maybe I am over reacting but it feels wrong.

LE The future of Skyrim Mods?
DorkDiva replied to DashingKnight's topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
Just like any other Bethesda game, it never actually dies, people still do modding for Morrowind and the older games, Oblivion modding is still going...so Skyrim modding won't die any time soon. -
I think you will have to log onto steam's online mode, then you should be able to get them.

I had weird stuff like that happen to me on my DarkElf character, they ended up killing my Lydia too

Ya...except, no it doesn't. Patch is fine, fps is fine. Saves are fine. Gotta love when people post total PEBKAC like it's universal. I agree, most of the complaints or issues are coming from the same sources, nowhere new, while others have no troubles or serious issues and are enjoying the game fine with the patches. Not everyone has the same issues, or suffers from weird anomalies. Maybe Skyrim just doesn't like certain people...And the Lord sayeth...Thou Shalt Not Playeth.

Only issue I am having with 1.3 is that I cannot fast travel to a location anymore the farm outside Riften, it just CTD's, and hopping Mammoths in the streams(they walk super slow and hop up and down for some reason in a couple places, it's actually kind of funny to watch), otherwise it just seems the same minus the 24/7 flying dragons. FPS is still smooth as silk for me. Yes I have everything maxed out.

What would you give for the Creation Kit to come out TODAY?
DorkDiva replied to TheSuey's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I was excited about it in the beginning, and would once have said " all my pain meds, and my Guiness" as to what I would give. As of now though with the announcement of it being integrated with steam and the steam work shop, I can't say I am very excited anymore. If it were coming out now, with no steam integration, I would be happy and send them my Guiness(I need my pain medication) . The steam integration and work shop might be the shotgun to the head of the modding community. So now I wouldn't give it a wink. I want the nexus to be THE PLACE to get mods and submit them, not...that. So now I would give...nothing. Sorry Bethesda, no Guiness for you. -
Creation Kit release info and patch fix
DorkDiva replied to PsYchotic666Joker's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
@ renownedwolfman "You obviously have no idea how games are made. If they hadn't made it. 1: Skyrim wouldn't be out 2: it would take longer than a month to build. Now no more trolling, or stop being sarcastic, or read a book. choose a response that is appropriate to the situation." Actually I do know, I know some developers and designers personally, and they have their own in house tools which allow different measures to make changes to their software yet alone create. Plus going to school for game design myself, and graduating in a few months, I think I have a good understanding. If I am going to say something, like say, my opinion, I am going to say it. Unless you are a staff member, don't tell me what I should or shouldn't do please. That is all. -
Creation Kit release info and patch fix
DorkDiva replied to PsYchotic666Joker's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I wager the CK is being released that far away because it was never made in the first place. :whistling: And it being tacked onto Steam, well, my second wager is a long long line of problems. :whistling: Can't wait to see when I (if) am right! :whistling: -
That hag from the DB quest is invincible now...Just tried killing her and she just gets up and the guards come running...greaaaaat....Now I have to check other quests to see what else is now busted...Ugh, my poor character! :wallbash: :armscrossed: so...this is what we stood outside on midnight release for? Awesome Bethesda! :verymad:

Hey all, I thought now would be a good time as any to post a thread. A helpful nice thread to well...give help in. Advice, hints, pointers anything constructive on mods both made already or those in process. I feel the need for critique that is a positive motivator, maybe this thread can be a start in a good direction? I hope it will attract those who are well coordinated in modding and those who are still learning the tools of the trade, and even those who are curious about it all. Lets help each other out. I for one, like many here are new to Skyrim modding, but have had more than my fair share of Oblivion modding. So far I have made 2 Skyrim mods. And would love some feed back, what could be done differently, better, or if you feel it is over done and my talents should be used elsewhere. I also would like those who have seen my Oblivion work, to comment and chime in. If there is anything I could be doing better in my texturing please let me know. Here is my Eye mod: http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=251 I would post the other but it is a silly batch file cheat for...well..cheating.

SILENCE! What sounds/voices would you like gone?
DorkDiva replied to generalmx's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Well, I kinda like the nightmothers voice. And Barbas the talking dog sounds like the voices I hear in my head, so Im used to that. I agree with the "aww let me guess, someone took your sweetrole" one, I usually kill the guard that says it. -
Yeah I agree. As "huge" as it was said to be I find myself doing many circles and seeing where I just was in a lot of areas, and it is easily traveled quickly through without the fast travel feature or a horsey.
-
Some of the eye ones are a nice improvement over the original. I would have more to recommend but I kind of went back to modding Oblivion for the time being til the CK is out. There are some nice texture ones too, just look at the hot files list. I personally wouldn't get too carried away til the CK is out though. That will be when the insanity begins.

I think everyone is dumbed down. No one wins. Everyone plays the TES games for their own reasons.

Steam updated EXE. now game crashes over and over again
DorkDiva replied to FormerHuman's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
no, steam doesn't need their permission too alter the exe too only be able too run in steam, since its a steam game. normally steam seems too be an intelligent company, how wrong could I have been? surely they were awere of the issues with the game yet they still decided too patch so that 9/10 people cant play anymore. and yeah, your right it should've been menaged far better. especially from steams side since I have no doubt they could've atleast let us use the TEV.exe for aslong as needed, but no. too be honest, I do not see the point of it either, it wont stop pirating and certainly wont help anyone, I've heard of multiple cases where the game used too run great without the 4GB patch and now its broken. I hope I can find a older version of the TEV.exe floating around the web, and I will make sure too post it here if I do. I just finished uninstalling it. It's already buried under cobble in the parts drawer, I am in no hurry to get it out again either, too bad I have the PC version if it wasn't I could get refunded from where I got it... I don't want to be told how and when I can play a game I paid money for, not to mention having to be forced into situations like this against my will. Steam has been taken off too, I'm pretty much done I was leary about the whole steam thing, and looks like I had a good reason to be. This whole screw up was like a punch in the jaw to everyone, and a kick to the butt too. It's like an insult. It is an insult, who am I kidding. My friend across the way can't get the game to install from the DVD now either, that may be something else entirely, but it just adds to the aggravation.I am going to sit back and listen to the new My Dying Bride and mope I suppose. -
Steam updated EXE. now game crashes over and over again
DorkDiva replied to FormerHuman's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
indeed, it should be nominated screw up of the year, they'd better patch it soon, or atleast revert the TEV.exe so I can atleast play again. now this is what my gaming experience looks like ''HEY LOOK A D-'' *crash* or *opens door, loads Solitude* gets in solitude ''okay where could I buy that house again?'' games reply *crash* . I always support Bethesda but there testing my patience right now... Yeah no doubt there, and wouldn't steam need permission to alter anything be for hand from Bethesda? I don't know...I'm really fed up with this and I don't know why, perhaps it's a sign of being addicted to Skyrim. But this just erks me to all heck and back. It should be far better managed than what it has been. :(
