A BodySlide support forum is the best place to go, as rmm200 has recommended. In the meantime, you may want to check BodySlide settings to see if you have the correct game and data paths.

This is an egregious non sequitur. Querentium infinitus est numerus.

In 2007 I became a member of Nexus Mods. I can personally attest that ads for Premium Membership have always been visibly present. I was never offended by those ads because I was well aware that the site required both advertising and membership revenue to stay in business. Nexus Mods membership is now almost 23 million members. I suspect that those who complain about the Premium Membership ads are often people who simply have no idea what it costs to run a site serving that many people.

Frustrating hand texture glitch

Your problem would best be dealt with in a Fallout 4 support forum. This is the Vortex support forum. -
BodySlide and Outfit Studio- using it on vortex
AugustaCalidia replied to wpkaverage's topic in Vortex Support
This is not a Vortex issue. You'll find more immediate help by opening a thread on a BodySlide forum or the appropriate game forum. In the meantime, if you've not already done so, open up "settings" on the BodySlide UI and check your paths.- 74 replies

You've copied the F4SE folder itself (f4se_0_06_21) into the game directory. That's why you're having problems. Put the contents of the folder and not the folder itself into the game directory. Your "Target" needs to be \Fallout\f4se_loader.exe., and your "Start In" needs to be \Fallout 4\.

@Arthmoor All seven mods deserved those slots. They were and are splendid contributions to modding Skyrim SE.

You are the umpteenth person to have made this point. And there are umpteen others who disagree and applaud NexusMod's new policy. If you've not already done so, a search of this forum will uncover several threads in which this topic has been discussed ad nauseum.

Did you use the fast or the slow download link? I should have specified in my post that the problem is with the slow manual downloads, which are the only ones I as a non-premium member have access to. Premium (fast) is the only option presented to me when I download manually.

I just now manually downloaded a utility mod for Skyrim SE. I had no problems.

Same here. The mods available here and the gaming enjoyment they've brought me far exceed in value what I paid for Lifetime Premium. -

@StormWolf01 I agree with you. Nexus Mods needs both its paying users and its non-paying users. But does it need non-paying users who use ad blockers, since they contribute nothing to the maintenance of this site? (By "non paying users" I mean users who pay nothing and upload no mods.) -

@fireundubh Your donut story is the most refreshing post that I've seen in this otherwise dismal thread. -
There would not be such a fuss about password length and composition if people would just use a password manager. There are many quality password managers available in cloud and non-cloud editions. They are extremely easy to set up and use. I've used a non-cloud password manager for thirteen years. That clever little program has made my online life so much easier and safer.

Referencing Nexus Mods Expenses, Nexus Mods is not only spending a lot on bandwidth as Reneer has pointed out earlier, but the "greedy" Nexus staff are even contributing a substantial sum to reward mod authors for their hard work. To put recent events into perspective, it's also worth reading this news item from October 2018: Download Speed Cap Increase. -
The shaming of non-premium users needs to stop!

This line of reasoning is a non sequitur. Nobody is putting a monetary value on passion. Rather, one is putting a monetary value on the resources needed to support that passion. In some cases, no money is required. In other cases, money is required. I have a passion for learning the Latin language. To fulfill that passion I had to pay educational costs and buy dictionaries, grammars, and Latin texts. I have never assigned a monetary value to this passion of mine, but I was not able to fulfill this passion until I spent some hard earned cash. -

This right here has been the best post thus far speaking for the majority imo. Majority? What majority? The majority of the 18,000,000+ members of Nexus Mods? Or the majority of respondents in this thread? If the former, someone please furnish the raw numbers that support this claim. If the latter, then please be aware that this thread follows a pattern of "thread eruptions" that I have witnessed several times in my twelve years as a Nexus Mods member. Nexus Mods makes a change, and the naysayers pounce. It doesn't even matter if Nexus Mods gives advance notice of the change, as was the case with NMM revisions, the introduction of Vortex, or the site redesign a little more than a year ago. The naysayers still pounce, and they tend to drown out everyone else, even those who seek to be helpful and constructive in their criticism. After a season of fulmination, colorful language, vented spleens, and prophecies of doom for Nexus Mods, things quiet down. The new order becomes the status quo, membership continues to climb, new games are added to the site's mod hosting service, and a measure of peace returns. Then Nexus Mods introduces another change. Immediately there is a new thread eruption, often accompanied by chants of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," "Nobody listens to us," "They've sold out to Bethesda," "They've become greedy," etc. And the thread eruption cycle repeats itself. In speaking of "naysayers," my comments are not directed at people here who have genuine, legitimate concerns (some of which I share) and have made the effort to be constructive in their criticism. I'm speaking of those who have nothing constructive to say and/or who talk in reverent tones about community but do little or nothing to support a site that is largely responsible for the very existence of the community of mod authors and users that we now have. -

I only donate to mod authors because mods can exist without Nexusmods but they cannot exist without mod authors. What you say is true. But then it would be like the old days, with mods for 855+ games scattered all over the internet. I like the convenience of one-stop shopping. This may be true, but to play Devils Advocate for a moment, suppose Nexus does something wildly unpopular and a bunch of people not only decide against paying for Premium, but existing subscribers stop renewing and the site eventually goes under? Those mods "scattered about the internet" will be all you have, though I suspect strongly the real response would be "oh well, there's always bethesda.net". If Nexus Mods did something wildly unpopular, as you describe it, then I would rethink any financial support. If it failed because of bad policies, then I would say, "Sic transit gloria mundi." I would then make a beeline for my batch of "Myst" games, all the while rethinking the meaning of life. However, all of the current weeping and gnashing of teeth notwithstanding, I do not think Nexus Mods is threatened with a mass exodus anytime soon. I do think some current policies may need to be reconsidered, but I trust Dark0ne and staff to be smart enough to figure that out.
