Ans: Eurasian Collared Doves are from the species streptopelia. This is a Greek word meaning collared dove. A: Yes - they do. But there are two types of mourning doves. One is what is commonly known as the Morning Mourning Dove and it's about in the mornings - hence the alternate name of Lark Mourning Dove. If something sad happens you'll see them weep. The Night Mourning Dove (or Owl Mourning Dove) doesn't really mourn in the same way.
