It's pointless, Skyrim's engine is simply not suitable for multiplayer.

I believe you can set the distance they follow you in the MCM.

Ehh.. every town has a unique captain which gets replaced, with smaller cities you should check inside the jarls palace, they're usually sleeping or standing by the millitary map. Removing or replacing them will break civil war questlines because these captains are used in multiple civil war quests.

Run Skyrim performance monitor, run around for around 20 minutes and post the log here.

You can do it manually too. Go to your Skyrim folder and open up the enbseries file with notepad. Under [effect] set ambientocclusion and depthoffield from =true to =false.

Just tried it on mine and doesn't happen. Are you sure it's not an app you installed doing this? Or perhaps you are using a browser app that comes with it's own adds?

Do you have the ENB installed using the instructions on the mod page? If so shift+enter should open a menu while you are ingame, if it doesn't show up your ENB isn't installed properly.

Are you using a compatible body mod? Did you redownload/install the mod?

I figured out what's probably happening: That mod is from 2012, meaning it's using the bodies from back then. The ADEC armor you are downloading probably relies on the new version of ADEC, which is why it isn't compatible with the old body you are using.

You need to add the .esp and the face gen data that ctrl+f4 generates to the download, inside a zip file with the same folder structure as your own skyrim folder. Example 1: new NPC, ID 000012c4, added by a mod (ExampleMod.esp):...\Skyrim\Data\textures\actors\Character\FaceGenData\FaceTint\ExampleMod.esp\000012C4.dds...\Skyrim\Data\meshes\actors\Character\FaceGenData\FaceGeom\ExampleMod.esp\000012C4.nifExample 2: Vanilla NPC, ID 000918e2 (Uthgerd the Unbroken), edited by a mod:...\Skyrim\Data\textures\actors\Character\FaceGenData\FaceTint\Skyrim.esm\000918e2.dds...\Skyrim\Data\meshes\actors\Character\FaceGenData\FaceGeom\Skyrim.esm\000918e2.nif

Just pointing out that: Rain doesn't have physical form in Skyrim, it's just an overlay that plays a rain animation (try standing below an outside roof, raindrops keep falling on your head)

Well from looking at the modpage, even the authors screenshots have texture issues, half of the npc's have intense neck seam bugs, which tells me the mod doesn't properly change body textures but in many cases simply changes the body. I would reckon that this is what happens if you equip any sort of body type specific armor. Do you have the mods optional files?

I wouldn't play anything below 40 fps, but 30 should be doable, I would definitely go for the performance version. Also, disable depth of field and ambient occlusion with the ingame ENB menu (shift+enter) for a huge FPS boost. Does this happen on a new save game?

Believe it or not, npcs constantly performing scripts in a tight space will take a heavier toll than some random soldiers fighting. Still, this shouldn't happen with your specs. Did you install any 4k+ texture packs recently?

Waterfalls can be pretty intense too, it all depends on your installed mods and fade settings really.

English isn't everyone's forte, you don't seriously believe he meant a drop of 1-2 fps do you? English is clearly not his main language and no one is going to notice a 1-2 fps drop and make a troubleshoot thread about it..

@camaro I think he's saying it drops down to 1-2 fps, not that it drops down by 1-2 fps.

Do the following steps: Run LOOT test if game works now, if not: disable five .esp at a time, starting from the bottom of your load order until the problem is fixed, once it gets fixed re-enable mods one by one from the top of your list until the problem comes back, and voila, the last mod you enabled before it started happening again is the culprit.

Seems like a fair price, go for the GPU and upgrade your RAM when you got the money.
