    I have decided to release the items contained in 'FileOne' of my TableSettings mod, in a version which contains an esp for the players who just can't use the CS. I will most likely place them in a chest.

     

    So, I have a question, as I need my memory refreshed! I don't think we are able to use the console commands to duplicate items from mods, am I remembering this correctly?

     

    If we can't, I would like your opinions as to how many of each item should be placed in the chest... I don't want to place to few, but I don't want to overload it either.

    We can duplicate items from mods. That's how I got one of my current companions, I made a copy of one of the girls at the Apachii Goddess store. Of course I used setactorfull copy.

     

    To get a duplicate of an item from a mod, you need it's base ID from the CS and the hexadecimal mod number -- given by both Wrye Bash and OBMM..

    Now this doesn't really solve it but you could list the Form IDs in the Readme, I've often wished Modders would do that.

     

    The best way to solve this is to make a quest that they can open up the CS and type something like:

     

    StartQuest TableSetGive

     

    That will automatically put a complete set of service in their inventory. I'd say either 4 or 6.

     

     

    On the other hand you could make it a respawning chest. Which isn't such a bad idea either. It would refill every 3 days, and they could make use of it completely ingame.

    David, As you usual, you do fantastic work! I'm definately going to have to learn to mod so I can put these things in the houses I already have. It doesn't appear that the rating thing is working. Have you pm's TESnexus staff to sort it out? Anyway, I give it a 10!!!!

    Like the above poster, I have no clue anymore what any of the vanilla people look like. I have "younger, hotter NPCs" and a host of beautifiers and customizers.

     

    However, "younger hotter NPCs" should be called "Younger Hotter NPC Chicks". Why must us ladies be left out of the loop?? It's a conspiracy I tell ya! I want "Younger Hotter NPCs v2": the Younger Hotter NPC Dudes version.

    i have a mod installed not sure what one it is but it made mysterious bandits as well as mysterious stranger and mysterious merchant appear.

     

    there is nothing wrong with it just wondering what it is and when i walked into an old ruin there was a giant battle of about 10 on 10 mysterious bandits fighting regular bandits, it was actually quite awesome to watch them kill one another.

     

    A screenshot would help. There are some "mysterious bandits" in the vanilla game, are you sure they weren't "black bow bandits"?

    I like to piddle.

     

    I like to spend my time well, and thoroughly. Zen is like that.

     

    If you're referring to the informal definition, however... nope, not gonna' take that bait, darlin'...

     

     

    haha, for me piddling is usually spent doing something constructive anyway, I just call it piddling. When I'm thirsty I do have to do what my grandma calls "piddling", but that's different! I always wash my hands afterward!

    I like actually managing to place a building down in the CS...even if I did have to delete some pesky rocks.

     

     

    I like that I created 2 outfits in Blender! :D

     

    But I couldn't put a building down in the CS if my life depended on it! :wallbash: I tried, and it sucked!
